Guangxi Ink Painting Tour (3): Carnival in Weizhou, Beihai

After finishing the trip to the China-Vietnam border, we finally came to the trip to Guangxi. The last part of the trip, Beihai + Weizhou Island, was also the most anticipated part of the trip.

Jingxi to Beihai route planning

In Beihai, we will gather with our family and two new friends to start a wonderful time of sunshine, beaches and seafood!

Weizhou Island, Beihai (D7 – D13)

If you don’t tell me, you don’t know that Guangxi is actually very popular. After seeing the Detian Waterfall in "We Are 17 Years Old", Gou Nu also fell in love with the "Yeli" courtyard where Chen Xiaochun was staying and the Weizhou Island where it is located in Jiangsu Satellite TV's variety show "Three Yards" in early 2018. . When we reach Beihai, we are already approaching the peak of the National Day holiday. It’s time to find a piece of paradise and live happily in seclusion!

This section is the last section of the Guangxi trip and the section with the longest stay:

D7 Departs from Jingxi and arrives at Beihai Haili Hotel. On the same day, I picked up my companion by plane. Celebrate the union in the evening and eat seafood together!

Pick up the boat ticket at D8 Pier, go to Silver Beach to dig sand, visit Beihai Old Street, and eat Vietnamese food at Qiaomin Customs Street.

D9 Go to Weizhou Island, stay in Yeli, and go to Yesha Beach

D10 Crocodile Hill, Old Church, Wild Beach, Nanwan Night Market

D11 Wake up naturally, have free time, go to Colorful Beach + Wild Beach

D12 Returning to Beihai, the air and land routes parted ways. The team headed to Zhuzhou.

D13 Zhuzhou returns to Shanghai

The biggest challenge in this section is the ferry from Beihai to Weizhou Island. Ferry tickets are tight and there are different opinions on the shipping of animals. Finally, I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Chai You, Salmon Dad, for his help and valuable advice, which made this trip go smoothly.

Silver Lining of beihai

It was already three o'clock in the afternoon when we left Jingxi and arrived in Beihai. Here, we will meet up with other members and enjoy 1.5 days of Beihai time on the eve of the National Day crowds.

Play guide
question question question

Beihai is not big and is famous for its sandy beaches. Most tourists concentrate on the seaside area. It is best to come here with the same mentality as going to Phuket and Sabah, slow down the pace, empty your consciousness, and live a casual and aimless life for a few days. This kind of sunny beach vacation can only be like this. Before I became a dog slave, I always declined this type of travel. Unexpectedly, now, the streets are full of beaches to satisfy the owners' desire to dig holes and wash in the sand.

The most famous one in Beihai is Silver Beach, and there are also Qiaogang and Golden Beach. This time, the small group's trip in Beihai was concentrated on the famous Silver Beach.

Silver Beach Guide

For fur babies, the beach has always been their favorite. Among them, Afu is the worst. Digging holes seems to be Ah Fu's innate ability.

Silver Beach is very long, in the south of Beihai, along the entire Silver Beach Middle Road, extending to Seaview Avenue. At first I was worried, would there be a lot of people on such a famous beach and would pets not be allowed to enter? Fortunately, the dog slave was overly worried.

Silver Beach can basically be divided into 4 sections. Except for the park section, which does not have a beach, the other three sections have it.

01
Roman Forum section

1
Entrance

Just next to the Roman Forum, a characteristic unfinished building, you can see the musical fountain called "Tide" that does not spray water. The B&B where the small group stayed was nearby. The parking space is easy to find. There are no tickets. You can walk directly to the beach after parking your car.

2
beach

The sand is white and fine, and feels like a carpet when you step on it. Many people like to go to Sanya. Except for Wuzhizhou Island, the sand quality of most of the beaches is incomparable to that here. It looks like the sand at a construction site.

sdfd

I met my friends here and had a lot of fun. After being in Guangxi for so many days, it was the first time to play with my friends, and my sense of belonging rose to a new level.

3
Supporting

There are no facilities, except for some self-employed people renting out beach chairs and dining tables on the beach. I've forgotten how much it cost, but it's not expensive, at least it's cheaper than renting it in Hepu. If there are many people and dogs, it is suitable to rent one. There is no barbecue or any catering provided, just sit and watch the sunset. When you are drying in the sun, you can ask the boss to hold a sun umbrella for you, which is also an extra service.

4
About swimming

This section is not suitable for swimming in the sea. There are no lifeguards and there are warning signs in many places.

ocean

When you see many people fishing in the sea, are they working hard for dinner?

02
The first beach section in the world

1
Entrance

This section is an official bathing beach. There is a gold-painted signboard at the main entrance. No tickets are required, just walk in openly.

2
beach

This is considered the core section of Silver Beach. The sand is still fine and white, but there are relatively many people. Therefore, some of the sand has been trampled more and is not as soft as the Roman Forum section. To put it more vividly, the Roman section is sand powder, and the part here has been trampled into sand cakes.

sdfd

Because it was early autumn and I went there in the evening, I didn’t see any dumplings being served. There were not many people, and I found that this section of the beach was wider than the Roman Forum, so I let the owners run for a while.

As a result, the two masters almost left the beach and ran into the park at a world sprint record speed! I can tell you from the bottom of my heart that I can no longer outrun my master. Running on the sand feels like my lungs are about to burst.

3
Supporting

This section is a scenic spot and has everything it needs.

Sightseeing cars (karts, jeeps), sand painting performances, water sports, changing and washing rooms, coffee bars, restaurants, kiosks, etc. are all available. If you forget to bring your swimsuit or water supplies, you can buy them on site, so don’t mind the price.

After watching the sunset here, you can also stay until night, the lights are brightly lit, and you can have a taste of the fun of seaside nightlife.

4
About swimming

In addition to Qiaogang, this is another area where you can swim. Other coastlines have undertows and other dangerous factors, making it easy to drown.

03
Harbor View Avenue Section

1
Entrance

This section is on Seaview Avenue. It is a large area and you can see the Fengjiajiang Bridge, which is almost connected to the Wetland Park. Driving along Yintan Middle Road and entering Haijing Avenue, you will see some temporary parking lots and iron fences. There is no formal entrance. You will see many locals entering and exiting through the gap in the iron fence. Just follow them in.

2
beach

It's not a beach, it's actually a tidal flat. Walking in, there was no sand, more silt and mud.

sdfd

Upon setting foot here, the master immediately became excited. It seems that in addition to digging in the sand, it has also helped them develop a new skill – playing with mud! At this time, the dog slave didn’t want to get close to the furry doll, otherwise it would swoop down and his clothes would be covered with cement-colored paw prints!

The owner likes the open dirt land, but it is not suitable for them. When the tide goes out here, many locals come with big buckets to pick up shells (oysters, snails, etc.). It is said that after picking them up, they use them to make ingredients for seafood stalls. Many of the shells and stones here are very sharp. They not only hurt your feet but can also easily cut your flesh pads. If you come, be careful and wear shoes to protect your little pads.

Beihai Old Street

In addition to Silver Beach, another relatively famous attraction is the old street.

The old street refers to Zhuhai Road, which starts from Sichuan Road and ends at Guanhai Road. It is now planned to be the "Beihai Old Town" tourist area. Like Wangfujing in Beijing, Yuyuan Garden in Shanghai, and Xiamen Old Street, after the entire street was targeted at tourism, it became a pedestrian street integrating shopping and snacks. You can park your car in the parking lot on Haibin Road, and across the alley is Zhuhai Road.

It is a shopping and snack street with a strong commercial atmosphere that small groups will not dislike at all. Both people and Chai are very excited. After going to the barren mountains and wild ridges, it is rare to return to the fireworks of the world, and my happiness doubles.

The style here is full of Lingnan architecture. Walking on the old streets, you feel similar to Singapore's Chinatown, Xiamen Old Street, Shunde Huagai Road and Haikou Feng Xiaogang Film Commune. But here, there is an extra touch of nostalgia. The Vietnamese slippers, local souvenirs or popsicles sold are not the common Japanese or Taiwanese style exquisite packaging, but the rustic and earthy style that goes back more than 30 years.

As for snacks, I really can’t praise them enough. The most famous shrimp cake, eating it in your mouth is like chewing oil residue.

Vietnamese slippers, cat poop coffee, durian crisps and other snack souvenirs are worth buying.

And we can also pack it for you and courier it home directly.

Dong Xiaofu is in charge of diplomatic work. In the old street, not only the shopkeepers, but also tourists, neighbors and children are all full of good-natured curiosity about the furry children.

Beihai accommodation
question question question

There are many B&Bs in Beihai, most of which allow pets. The B&B I chose this time

Beihai Silver Beach Laihai Resort Hotel.

The hotel is located in a villa area near the Roman Forum. There is more than one B&B in the villa area, and visually this one is the largest and high-end among them.

The sea here is composed of two (or is it three?) villas, and the middle is opened as a public area. At noon, cute-looking cats will crawl out, spread out everywhere, and enjoy sunbathing intoxicatedly. There is an elevator in the villa, which is very desirable. Many B&Bs allow you to climb stairs directly.

The boss is a friend from Northeast China, which is very refreshing. They provide pick-up and drop-off services from the pier, train station and pier, just make a reservation in advance.

We booked multiple room types, among which the family room was spacious and could sleep 3 people and 4 people without any pressure. The courtyard double bed room is also good, but the courtyard honeymoon round bed room is a bit weird. The round bed, the taller one, is out of the bed as soon as you turn around. One saving grace of this room type is that there is a small pool where you can take a dip behind closed doors.

The Beihai hotel itself is not expensive, and the Shangri-La here is also the cheapest of the same brand in the country. Since not many hotels allow pets, even fewer of the hotel staff are pet-friendly. All things considered, here sea is definitely a good choice.

Beihai Food
question question question

Due to its geographical location, Beihai has two must-eats: seafood and Vietnamese food.

seafood

There are many to choose from, and it is said that there are many people who are robbing people. Among the restaurants that allow babies, I randomly selected "Qinji Seafood Food" . Unexpectedly, I ate 2 of the 3 meals in Beihai here.

You can park at the door, which is very convenient, especially for us with elderly people. There were 7 of us and 4 people rushing into the store. We were not shy at all and were directly seated in the middle of the lobby. The lady who ordered the food excitedly showed off her language skills after knowing that we could speak vernacular.

Once again, 4 of the 7 people are from a small island. The best in my hometown is seafood, so I have a good idea of the quality, cooking method, taste, and price of seafood. In the end, Qin Ji passed the test perfectly. It is really not expensive and the price/performance ratio is quite high. Especially the salt and pepper mantis shrimp, which was fried to a crispy texture and tasted salty and delicious. I haven’t eaten such excellent mantis shrimp in a long time. The shrimps and small geoducks were of average quality, and the crab porridge was a Cantonese-style thick and spongy porridge base with a little lack of umami. I came back here the next day and had stir-fried noodles and rice with my favorite mantis shrimp, which was quite satisfying.

Vietnamese food

Of the three meals, you must save one to eat Vietnamese food at Qiaogang Fengqing Street.

For the team that has just returned from the China-Vietnam border, the Guangxi version of Vietnamese food is hard to describe in words, but it is quite emotional to say it. Based on experience, everyone understood that there should be no requirements on taste, so they decided to give priority to the environment and chose the more comfortable "Hanoi Street" as the place where the group members would gather for dinner on the first day.

Unsurprisingly, the products produced by Hanoi Street have little to do with Hanoi. What's unreasonable is that although the product is still a hit or miss, the taste is definitely much better than what I had in Shuolong Town!

Fish cakes
Seafood Pho

Satisfied Afu

The biggest feature here is not the food, but the uniforms of the waiters.

The cooperation was so high that we asked the little brother and sister to stand at attention for us to take pictures, and even called out the chef!

In particular, Beihai Shangri-La Shang Palace is the most delicious Cantonese dim sum that my friends have ever eaten. The standard here surpasses all Michelin 3-star and 2-star Cantonese restaurants in Shanghai!

Because I didn’t stay in Beihai for a long time, I didn’t try too many restaurants. There are also some other restaurants that allow pets, for your reference:

Rongfu Steam Seafood Restaurant

The main reason for going to Beihai this time is to go to Weizhou Island; to go to Weizhou Island is to go to the B&B "Weizhou Island Yeli Villa Resort Hotel"

When I first watched "Three Courtyards", my favorites were Lin Gengxin's in Wenling and Chen Xiaochun's and his wife's in Weizhou Island. The show followed the trend and arranged for pets to appear on the scene. In fact, when we contacted the B&B in Wenling, we were told that pets were not welcome and that special arrangements were made only for the needs of TV programs, which left us speechless. Fortunately, " Yeli" looks exactly the same, which makes us look forward to our trip to Weizhou!

Special Note: Detailed Guide to Tickets and How to Board Pets

Beihai International Passenger Terminal

shift

Frequency: Generally, you don’t have to worry about not having tickets for the boat to and from Weizhou Island, because the big boat can accommodate nearly a thousand people.

During peak travel times, must book a round trip in advance. This time, during the National Day, the small group encountered many tourists at the Weizhou Island Pier who were unable to leave the island as planned because they had not booked return tickets.

For those with furry dolls, it is recommended to take the earliest bus as there are relatively few people.

How to buy tickets

Ferry tickets can be purchased on the official website (www.laiu8.cn), online platforms such as Ctrip or travel agencies. Because some people with non-Chinese ID cards cannot operate online, we used the ferry ticket purchase agent recommended by Nori . At the same time, the purchasing agent can inquire more carefully about the ship type, the required ticket type and the guarantee of booking the ideal sailing. Very reliable Sister Xia, contact number: 13807797166.

During peak periods, it is recommended to go to the pier to pick up tickets one day in advance, as there are actually many people queuing up. The order number + ticket collection password will be taken out smoothly, without the need to see the ID. There are fewer windows at the West Point Pier on Weizhou Island and there are more people there, so it is more necessary to get tickets in advance.

Tickets to the island can be bought separately, you can buy them after you go to the island, or you can buy them online in advance like a small group.

To go to Weizhou Island, you need an Ami island ticket. After purchasing online, the other party will give you a number, and
find the contact person to pick up the ticket.

Ticket collection and pier

When you are at the Beihai International Passenger Terminal, you can enter directly with your master. You need to go through the check-in procedures in the lobby of the terminal ticket office. The check-in fee is 60 yuan (October 2018). Remember to save the voucher so you don’t have to pay for the return trip.

You can buy cages at the shipping check-in area at Beihai Terminal. Pets must be in a cage when boarding the ship, otherwise they will not be allowed on board. The cage I bought on site cost 50 yuan on Taobao, and it fell apart if I shook it casually. There were two teddies on the same boat, and before one got on board, the cage fell apart. In the end, we helped to roughly stick it together with packing tape.

Thanks to Salmon’s father for his guidance in advance, we brought our own flight boxes and trained our fur dolls to live in the boxes one month in advance. In terms of safety and comfort, air boxes are much better than iron cages bought at the terminal.

In addition, bring the sealing tape. After entering the box, wrap the sealing tape around it several times to ensure that the door will not open and prevent the owner from running out.

Check-in and boarding

This is not the first time for the small group to take a boat ferry.

When we were in Beihai, because we didn’t have any more information, it was safe to arrive early. As a result, the person who checked the tickets asked us to wait until everyone else had checked their tickets before letting us in. At Beihai International Passenger Terminal, after checking in, there are some long benches where you can sit. The waiting area of Weizhou Island Passenger Terminal is semi-open and there are not many stools. It is quite tiring after a long time.

There is a long distance between the ticket purchase hall and the waiting area at the West Point Pier of Weizhou Island. Master Xiao Yang in the field has great supernatural powers and contacted friends at the dock to let us go. Drive directly to the waiting area so luggage and pet boxes don’t have to be carried a long distance. Another prerequisite for this convenience is that you have to take the first boat in the morning before others go to work.

on board

What has always troubled Dog Slave the most is the arrangement on the ship.

On the Gouqi Island ferry, the journey was smooth. As long as you wear a mask as required, you can be taken directly to the cabin on the ship. On the way back to the boat, the dog was intercepted and asked to tie it up on the roof. After negotiation, the dog was only allowed on the deck. After finally buying a VIP room, he was allowed to enter.

After asking around, including purchasing agents, they all told me that they cannot be brought into the cabin. Salmon Dad’s experience is to put it in the ventilation aisle on the deck with other large luggage. You can actively ask for companionship but you are not allowed to walk around casually. In view of the experience in Gouqi Island, I bought VIP room tickets this time. There are 8 seats in a room. There are only 7 of us, so we bought 8 private tickets. We took a large ship (1000+ passenger capacity), and the VIP room was on the 4th floor. It was very tiring to go up with luggage. At the same time, when boarding the ship, the customer service representative had stopped us and was not allowed to bring the flight case into the cabin.

The final result of the negotiation was that because we originally booked a VIP room, we didn’t need to stay on the deck. The customer service took us to the second and a half floors indoors.

The 2nd and a half floors are a rest area for staff traveling between Beihai and Weizhou Island at the passenger terminal. On the day we went to Weizhou, there was a staff member accompanying us. There is a door here that leads into the cabin, allowing us to enter and exit the cabin when the crew is not looking, and our companion came to visit us on the way. Most of the time, the cabin door is locked, so the dog slave on the second and a half floors cannot use the toilet.

The two teddy dogs we were traveling with saw us being led to the second and a half floors and quickly followed us. The owner didn't choose to accompany him, so the child screamed all the way, which was very pitiful. The dog slaves cannot agree with such an arrangement. Not to mention that their cages are already thin. If something goes wrong, the dogs may disappear when they arrive at Weizhou Island.

On the return trip, because we were familiar with the process, and because it was the same ship (Northern Tour 16) and the same crew, communication was smoother. Therefore, when buying tickets, you can try to find the same ship, so that communication during the round trip will be effortless.

Weizhou Island is not big, and it only takes less than 30 minutes to drive from south to north.

Both the dog slave and his master believe that the fun of Weizhou Island lies in island life. You must spend a few days savoring the slow life on the island to discover the beauty of Weizhou. Therefore, the most important point in the travel guide is to find a good B&B on the island, such as "Yoli" for us.

Nozato House
question question question

There was only one house in the house at first. When the group went there, the No. 2 house was already open for business. There are only 7 rooms in Courtyard No. 1, and each room has its own entrance and exit.

There are two doors at the front and back of Yeli, which are fully enclosed when closed, which is very suitable for private rooms. Unfortunately, one room had been booked early at that time, so the small group had no choice but to give up.

There is a small swimming pool in the courtyard for playing in the water, and a small lawn where the children always chase each other every morning and evening.

The housekeepers are cheerful and enthusiastic. On a small island where life is monotonous, their welcoming hospitality really made us want to stay longer.

Cake shipped from the North Sea

I asked my housekeeper sister to celebrate the birthdays of my friends in the gang. The young lady took a special trip to Beihai and bought an island-style cake.

This is the group’s favorite B&B that we have ever stayed in. After we left, we still missed it very much!

Enjoying the sunshine coming in from the skylight, because you have to change into slippers when entering the room, the floor looks fresh and slightly cool. The furry baby lies down very comfortable, and after a while, he falls asleep all over the floor.

For a B&B, the rooms here are really clean and impeccable. The person in charge of cleaning is the landlady, who loves cleanliness very much. For the residents, it is good news that the host loves cleanliness.

I am No. 2 Courtyard

You can walk from Courtyard 1 to Courtyard 2, which takes about 10 minutes. I took the furry kids there and met a few friends along the way, as well as the big golden retriever baby in No. 2 Courtyard. Golden retriever babies are very active and often get lost. We experienced a golden retriever runaway incident when we were there.

Courtyard No. 2 also has a swimming pool and a large lawn, but the layout is different from Courtyard No. 1 and has more rooms. No. 2 Courtyard is like a B&B, and No. 1 Courtyard is like a secret mansion. Everyone prefers the latter.

Transportation on the island
question question question

Although Weizhou Island is not large, it is big enough to make you tired from walking. Therefore, transportation is a very important issue.

First of all, Weizhou Island provides tourist charter services. The B&B will have an associated sightseeing electric car driver. Many islands, such as Zhoushan Islands and Fujian Yushan Island, do not have the concept of chartering a car at all. The so-called chartered car is to pick up and drop off on a set route and within a set time. Some drivers will even drop you off at a scenic spot, then run off to do other business, and then come back to pick up the guests, which completely violates the principle of "renting a car for a day".

Secondly, you can rent a car. There are electric cars on the island, but the housekeeper told me that such cars are actually illegal and the road conditions on the island are unstable. For fear of accidents, it is generally not recommended for guests to rent a car. In the end, we asked our housekeeper sister to help us rent an electric car for a day, just to go to Nanwan to experience the nightlife on the island.

Finally, there are e-donkeys, bicycles and buses on the island. If not, you can walk on two legs. There are many hiking trails on the island.

Having suffered from traffic congestion on other beautiful islands, we can’t help but marvel at the many choices here and how convenient they are. Weizhou Island is the most considerate and thoughtful one among the "most beautiful islands in China" that the small group has visited so far.

DISCOVER Weizhou
question question question

If you have enough time and want to have fun in Weizhou, it is recommended to try the following:

1) Charter a car to go to official attractions that must be checked in

2) Rent a car and go around the island once, and go to Nanwan Night Market in the evening

3) Hike along the coastline from the B&B, discover wild beaches, and run into banana fields

In order to balance the needs of dog slaves and masters, small groups adopt a free and informal way to play. The master must be guaranteed to have half a day to party on the beach every day. After looking at the pictures and eliminating attractions that he was not interested in, he finally chose to check in only three attractions: "Crocodile Mountain", "Old Church" and "Colorful Beach".

Furry kids’ favorite – Wild Beach

Walking out of Houbeitang Village in Yeli, in less than 5 minutes, you cross a small road and arrive at a small deserted beach.

Leaving aside tourist beaches like Shiluokou, there are many wild beaches on Weizhou Island. Unfortunately, many of them are small and full of garbage. The one near Yeli is considered very clean.

It’s still the old saying, “If the beach is not big, it’s better if there are fewer people and it’s clean.” This place fully meets this requirement.

Walk to a waterless place and sit down to watch the clouds rise.

See the sunrise and sunset, listen to the ebb and flow of the tide.

Toys that are must-haves for every trip to keep Dong Xiaofu excited: rubber monsters, Petmate flying saucers and footballs.

Weizhou Island has a pleasant climate, so the dog slave doesn’t have to brave the biting sea breeze to watch the sunset with Fulu Ankang. The whole family is neat and tidy, and I feel the most beautiful at this moment.

The tide rose in the morning and the beach disappeared. The water level rushed directly to the side of the road. It was impossible to stand among a pile of garbage. We had to go back after the tide receded in the afternoon. Arrange to go after 4 o'clock. It's not too hot and you can wait for the sunset.

As the temperature changes, the color of the seawater changes from green blue, sapphire blue, sapphire blue to deep blue, and the gradient is especially obvious in the sunlight.

I walked past the section near Shell Beach, which is relatively commercialized with tents for rent and water activities, which is more suitable for humans without furry babies.

The most physically demanding – Crocodile Mountain

Crocodile Mountain Scenic Area

From the battery car drop-off point, walk to the ticket gate, and then visit the entire scenic area. It takes about 1.5 hours.

The intensity is not too high, the plank road is well built, and the steps are not steep, but there are not many places to rest in the middle, and there is no place to block the sun.

Crocodile Mountain belongs to the Crater Geopark. The most interesting thing is the coastal plank road, which travels through the rugged red rocks and contrasts with the blue water, which is quite interesting.

Since there is only one plank road in the scenic area, the route is also fixed. When there are many people, the entire road is easily blocked and the progress is slow. For the elderly, it may be a bit difficult, but I saw many people traveling with their children.

When I was young, you held me

I'll hold you when you're old

The liveliest atmosphere – the old church

The old church is marked on the map as "Holy Church Scenic Area", and the location is called "Shengtang Village", which is a surprisingly rhyme.

You can’t see much about the old church, but Shengtang Village, as the CBD of Weizhou Island, is the busiest here except Nanwan. Whether it's restaurants, snacks, souvenirs, desserts, coffee, etc., you'll find everything. Although it is crowded, there is order in the chaos. Whether it is people, furry children or cars, they can all find their place peacefully.

The most colorful – Colorful Beach

Colorful Beach is in the south of the island, adjacent to Crocodile Mountain, and many people are arranged on a route. After the physical labor in Crocodile Mountain, the small group decided to arrange the colorful beach alone on the afternoon of the third day after arriving on the island.

When the small group went there, it felt like a scenic spot was being built, but I heard that there was insufficient funds and the plan had to be postponed. It is estimated that the tickets will not be collected for a while. Because it was the third day after arriving on the island, everyone had already fully adapted to the rhythm of Weizhou Island. They stayed in the room watching on-demand videos in the morning and walked out at a slower pace than a snail in the afternoon. When they saw the dark stone beach, the group turned around and left in frustration. In the end, only the dog slave accompanied the enthusiastic dog son as he turned in and walked to the real colorful beach.

The colors of Wucaitan come from the sky, earth and sea. It is composed of white clouds, blue sea, moss, and multi-colored rocks. The colors can only be seen under the sun.

Taking pictures with life
I have to admire that every time I go out, I always see sisters and aunts who are not dressed appropriately for travel, but it doesn't stop them from going up mountains of swords and seas of fire to take selfies.

From the position of the young lady in the picture, the dog slave can see it with the naked eye. The scenery is 10 times more beautiful than the photo. But the stones were all smooth and moist, and as soon as he opened his legs, the real person sat back on the ground. After doing this for several times, the dog son actually rushed over and pulled the dog slave to leave. The filial piety makes the dog slave want to cry! ! !

Weizhou slow life – aimless travel

If time permits, you can sleep until you wake up naturally, and then walk (or drive) aimlessly with the dog owner, stopping whenever you see something interesting. That day, some of our group were interested in chickens; some were interested in "homemade pineapples"; and some were interested in the elderly woman on the road. Such a trip is indescribably enjoyable.

Weizhou Food
question question question

On Weizhou Island, almost all three meals are served in the wild. But in the wild, there is no open fire, so customers only eat takeaways recommended by the clerk.

Shun Fela (Phone: 13977907773)

Just in the alley opposite the church. The most popular restaurant, it has a light and delicious style of Cantonese cuisine. Among them, the banana chicken is a must-try. It is tender and juicy, and the inside is steaming hot. Fulu Ankang must eat it every day!

Sichuan flavor (15577945326)

The name is very straightforward, it means Sichuan cuisine. The taste is really spicy, and the dog slave is a spicy food fanatic. The spiciness of this restaurant can be considered above average, which is very good.

Almost all restaurants on Weizhou Island allow pets, or let’s say they don’t even think about not letting you in.

In addition to banana chicken, the only two Weizhou foods that left a deep impression on us are:

The iced coconut that instantly revives with full blood
Nori housekeeper sister’s loving breakfast

Fulu Ankang’s Weizhou Happy Hour

This is Chaibak’s first long march. From the anxiety in preparation, to the selfless running on the road, to the reluctant departure, Guangxi has opened a new page for our pet travel.

Useful TIPS:

1) Bring sufficient food (dry and wet) for your furry child. Due to traveling long distances and being emotionally excited, the appetite will be affected to some extent, so palatability is very important.

2) Bring deodorant and air freshener. When traveling for a long time, body odor will increase quickly, so you can avoid excessive dog smell in the room.

3) Drugs must be fully equipped, including but not limited to gastrointestinal drugs, anti-inflammatory drugs, eye drugs, trauma treatment (iodophor, normal saline, gauze), intestinal tract drugs, first aid drugs (Qingxin Pills, Jiuxin Pills), and heat-relieving drugs ( Huoxiang Zhengqi Pills) etc.

4) Pet hair dryer + shower gel and other supplies can be washed at any time after returning from the beach or wild

5) Bring more snacks and toys. This time I met some adopted stray fur babies and left all the children’s food and toys with them.
