Departure & check-in hotel

Under the bombardment of five alarm clocks set in advance, I got up at 5:30 in the morning as planned, washed up, caught up with the car, and caught up on sleep on the plane, arriving in Dali around 11:00 on the 16th. I originally thought it would be very cold under the influence of the cold wave, but it turned out that although it was windy and rainy, it was okay. The overall temperature was quite comfortable. The down jacket I brought specially didn't have much room to use.

The hotel we stayed at was Jianglu·Miwan, located on Jinsuo Island in Erhai Lake. You need to take a boat to get there. It was my first time to stay at this kind of B&B. The service provided by the housekeepers was really considerate. They brought umbrellas and rain boots in advance and waited for us at the pier. They helped carry our luggage and prepared ginger tea and soup. It was really Haidilao-style service.

The public areas are decorated in a small and fresh manner

Zhangjia Garden

Going to Zhangjia Garden was an accident. Because it was still early in the afternoon, I found a scenic spot to wander around before going to Dali Ancient City, but I didn’t expect to gain a lot.

Dali Zhangjia Garden was built in the late Qing Dynasty. It is a representative work of cultural architecture of Bai folk houses with surnames. It is composed of five three-squares, one screen wall, a four-in-five patio and Dali's unique back garden. The garden was invested and creatively designed by Zhang Jianchun, a master of folk architectural art in Dali, who devoted himself to creating a garden of residential architecture, culture and art. The garden is not large in area, covering an area of more than 10,000 square meters, but it is exquisitely designed and beautiful everywhere.

The courtyard is not big but very exquisite

The back garden has a scene with each step, and the scene changes with each step.

Dali ancient city

Yiwu has the same style as all ancient cities in the country. It is quite large in area and there is not much else to say.

Special snack fried milk fan, tastes like cheese

Xiao Chong Chong triple hit, I want to try it but the store doesn’t allow it T T

Morning on Jinsuo Island

Although I had gotten up early the day before, I still struggled to get up around 7 o'clock in order to take pictures. I simply put on my clothes and went out to take pictures. Different from the bustling scene in downtown Dali, although there are many tourists on Jinsuo Island, the overall state is still relatively original. The architecture, clothing, food and lifestyle are all engraved with the mark of time.

Boating is the only means for island residents to communicate with the outside world

There are boats everywhere on the island

Hiking along Erhai Lake

As a traditional team building project of our company, the hiking that was not realized in Qinghai Lake last year was finally completed in Dali this year. Starting from Tacun Ferry, head north along Huanhai East Road and hike 10 kilometers with stops to reach Wenbi Village. There happened to be a marathon held by a non-governmental organization in Dali City that day, and we also took this route. Along the way, I watched the runners sweating profusely, and while cheering them on, I was also inspired.

Erhai Lake

There are hotels and restaurants on both sides of the seaside.

Double corridor

I don’t know much about Shuanglang. I heard the driver say it looks pretty good on the way, but after I went there, I felt it was the same familiar compulsory style. There are Yang Liping's Sun Palace and Moon Palace on Yuji Island, but one requires a drink before you can visit, and the other is not open to the public. I was not interested in it, so I gave up and walked around casually before returning to the island to eat and rest. .

The pomegranates here are quite red.

light fireworks

On Jinsuo Island, we unexpectedly discovered that there were fireworks for sale. The proprietress of the canteen said that they could be set off here casually, so we bought some and planned to set them off at the beach. However, the hotel steward said that they could only be set off in the yard, and there would be a fine for setting them off at the beach, so we Congshan Ruliu set off fireworks in the courtyard of the inn.

I really don’t know how to take night scenes T^T

Cangshan Erhai Lake

When I got up in the morning, I found that the sky had cleared up, which was a pleasant surprise. After sweeping away the lingering rain, the sky is clear and blue, and you can clearly see Cangshan Mountain on the other side of Erhai Lake and the urban area of Dali. The blue sky and white walls complement each other, making the trip to Dali a successful end.

It is very pleasant to listen to the sound of waves crashing on the shore at Erhai Lake
