The epidemic has hit and disrupted our lives once again. Those grassroots workers have no chance to breathe. There are too many touching scenes. Thank you for having us!

For me, staying home obediently is my greatest contribution. At noon, "the flowers are blooming", the three people chatted about their September itinerary, and talked about taking the Xinjiang-Tibet Line to the North Ali Line... The chatting about travel is an antidote, which instantly turns the boring heart into joy. So at this moment, I want to follow my memory to the distance, to the holy place that I miss so much.

In September last year, I went on a self-driving trip to Tibet with Juanjuan and Xiaoqin, and went deep into Tibet.

This journey starts from the Tibetan-style houses beside the G318 National Highway in Yajiang, western Sichuan, turns north at Xinduqiao and joins the G248 Daofu, Luhuo, and Seda, and ends three days later at the King Gesar Hotel in Banma County, Qinghai; Connected with the 550KM Buddhist holy land and the richer cultural landscape than Tibet, we persistently explored and walked into the unknown and simple villages——

On the road

On the way back from Daocheng to Yading, we took G318. Not long after passing Yajiang County, we were attracted by a Tibetan-style village surrounded by Gesang flowers on the side of the highway. "Yajiangling. Miya Hotel", we will stay here tonight!

The couple runs this B&B with great care. The male owner can speak a few simple Mandarin to take care of everything. The female owner cooked a bowl of noodles for each of us and treated us to eat her own roasted corn. The kind old lady kept pulling the prayer beads in the corner and chanting sutras. A peaceful scene washes away our fatigue from days to days, making us feel as at ease as our own home.

The three of us had a good sleep that night. In our dreams, we were running and laughing on the hillside with colorful prayer flags with our favorite friends... We woke up laughing. This should be the result of the old lady chanting sutras and praying for us? Definitely.

On the way to the north from G318, you can see the boundless grassland, the winding creeks are like silk paved on it, the cattle and sheep are peaceful, and sometimes unnamed small animals jump out mischievously; the mountains in the distance are spread out, and prayer flags are spread out. On the mountainside, Tibetan villages or temples are scattered...

I like the above set of pictures. I left the small town of Onda early that morning and headed towards Seda. I casually walked into a small village shrouded in mist on the roadside. Yaks were all over the hillside, and flocks of small birds were flying around in the branches and fields. , the old man came slowly with his children, nodding to greet us; the row of white pagodas and the piles of brightly colored Tibetan stones at the entrance of the village protect their homes, or perhaps tell the mysterious stories to us passing by. story!

Wuming Buddhist College, the largest Tibetan Buddhist college in the world, is home to more than 10,000 devout believers from all over the world. It is closed to the outside world due to the epidemic. For some inexplicable reason, this Buddhist country seems to have a force that attracts us to take a detour here. Is it Xiaoqin who said we should go and have a cup of butter tea there?
Juanjuan and Xiaoqin had already played the game two years ago. After consultation, they put me in the parking lot at the entrance to see if I could enter the set level. Strangely enough, I happened to be wearing a long loose yellow skirt of the same color that day. The scarf and the string of Buddhist beads in the hand are very suitable for the occasion. Seeing a young lama in the parking lot, I went over to tell him that I had traveled thousands of miles to come here, and begged him to take me in. He looked at me kindly and said: I am going to the county town and will not go up the mountain. Don't ask anyone, just follow the monks from the side path. Just enter and take the bus inside to go up the mountain!
Perhaps my sincerity moved Lord Buddha, or maybe my grandmother’s prayers a few days ago helped me successfully enter the gate of the Buddhist Academy. There were no tourists at this time, and I turned into a Buddhist and took the bus with them. It was really a joy to blend in with them. The bus was full of lamas, and I couldn’t understand the conversation, but the young girl next to me laughed loudly. , the car naturally supported my thigh when turning and swinging, haha...
Get off the car at the central mandala, follow them around the prayer wheels, smell the fragrance of butter lamps, listen to the monks singing, feel unusually quiet inside, and pray here: world peace, stay away from disease, give us a free and peaceful world!
Then climb the steps to the mountainside next to it, step into the continuous red, occasionally cross the dirt path, climb to the top of the mountain and look down, the distant prayer flags, the sound of chanting, and the red buildings as far as the eye can tell them. Piety and Faith, and I entered a dreamland and was listening to my own voice.
Going down the steps of the mountain, walking and stopping until the gate, walking into their library and small supermarket during those three to five hours, watching them squeeze into the bus, and the peaceful faces with laughter from time to time... think about it Lord Buddha really prefers their people.
SUMMER

Looking back at this moment, everything on the journey was just scenery.
Xinduqiao stayed in a tent hotel at the foot of the mountain, ate homemade hot pot, placed tea sets and fruits, Yun Cai curiously visited the table, and wanted to join in the fun and have a few bites? In this so-called photographer's paradise, we just didn't want to move, looking at the mountains and clouds, quietly and silently.
If Mo Di were here, would there be another one of her creations in the world? It would definitely be a colorful and charming painting!
Another lunch hour, our car was driving alone on the G350. As usual, we stopped to make a fire and cook at the most beautiful place. If I remember correctly, it should be the Longdeng Grassland in Daofu; under the vast blue sky, there were herds of cattle in the distance. The sheep ate freely. After a while, a big dog ran up and watched us from a distance. It was a little scared at first, but when we looked closely, its eyes were filled with gentleness. I wonder if it was too lonely? Need a playmate?
I don’t remember what we had for lunch that day. I just remember that we were surrounded by small purple flowers on the grass, lying on the mats, listening to the news brought by the wind from the hills. It was windy and rainy, and then sunny. It was so lively.
From Seda to QinghaiBanma County, are we not going the wrong way? The road conditions were good. During the three hours we met almost no vehicles. We were the only ones galloping in the grasslands and mountain streams. We occasionally encountered farmers slaughtering sheep, and there were horses as big as pigs The woodchuck was walking on the roadside, which made us dumbfounded~~
I’ve been nagging so much without realizing it, why can’t I stop talking about traveling to Tibet?
How deeply should I feel for him? My solo trip from Qinghai to Sichuan and out of Tibet in 2005 has made me think about it for more than ten years. Last year, the three of us continued to repeat the same route on our self-driving trip. We were about to go to Chengdu to eat hot pot, but we changed because of our fascination with Tibetan areas. For the itinerary, we left G318 to go north to Sichuan and to Qinghai, and continued to travel deep into our hearts.
I think the beauty of Tibetan areas is something that cannot be expressed by any images or words. It resides in our hearts and will never be forgotten...
In the next issue, we will continue our trip from Qinghai to Gannan. This is a journey that we regard as walking back to Tibet. We have encountered all the scenery in Tibet, but there are no tourists~~.
