Zhuoer Mountain belongs to the Danxia landform and is composed of red sandstone and conglomerate. In Tibetan, it is called "Zong Muma Glaima", which means the beautiful ruddy queen. The Zhuoer Mountain Scenic Area project construction site is located in Babao Town, Qilian County, Qinghai Province, close to the Babao River and across the river from the Tibetan sacred mountain Ami Dongsuo (Niuxin Mountain).
Standing on the top of Zhuoer Mountain, the view is extremely wide, with no obstructions around. On the opposite side of the mountain is Niuxin Mountain, which offers a panoramic view of the four seasons. On the left and right sides are the Ladong Gorge and Baiyanggou Scenic Areas. On the back is the rolling Qilian Mountains, with the rolling waves at the foot of the mountain. The Babao River is like a white hada surrounding the county.
I rushed back to Xining today and took the train to Zhangye. I arrived in Zhangye at around 8 pm. I picked up the car, checked in, and rested.

Zhangye Danxia Landform is a unique complex area of Danxia landform and colorful hilly landscape in China. The scenic area mainly includes Binggou Danxia Scenic Area and Qicai Danxia Scenic Area, which are about 12 kilometers apart.
The Binggou Danxia Scenic Area is mainly located in Kangle Township and Baiyin Township, Sunan County, Zhangye City, and the Colorful Danxia Scenic Area is mainly located in Nijiaying Township, Linze County.
Centered in Baiyin Township, Sunan Yugur Autonomous County, the altitude is between 2,000 meters and 3,800 meters, about 40 kilometers long from east to west, and about 5 to 10 kilometers wide from north to south.
Thousands of cliffs and mountains all show bright red and reddish-brown colors, each showing its own charm against each other, showing the wonderful style of Danxia landform that is "as colorful as Wodan and as bright as bright clouds".
The Qilian Mountains are unique in shape, colorful and majestic. The Qilian Mountains are carved with protruding peaks, steep mountains and colorful colors. The local ethnic minorities call this peculiar mountain scenery "Alan Lagda" (meaning red mountain).
I saw a lot of colorful Danxia photos taken by old masters on the Internet. The colors are very bright. Part of the reason is the good equipment, but also the reason is excessive color adjustment. What you see with your eyes is really not as gorgeous as those taken by old masters, but it is indeed clearly layered~
The Colorful Danxia Museum is not open during the off-season, which is a pity.
