In the early morning, the Beibei Bear Kids team has assembled

We are about to officially start our Hulunbuir tour!

Today’s itinerary is relatively simple

In the morning, I walked around Harbin for a while.

Checked in at Central Street and Sophia Cathedral

p.s. Dogs are no longer allowed on Central Street

Then go west through Daqing and Qiqihar

Walking through Mo-A Highway to Chaihe Town, Zhalantun

It is said that the Mo'a Highway is a very beautiful road

It's a pity that we arrived too late that day

The sun is almost setting, and it's so dark that you can't see anything.

Moreover, the Mo'a Highway was under construction at that time, and the road condition was very poor.

Some sections are even muddy, and because of the heavy rain before,

And big trucks keep crushing them

The dirt road turned into a mud river, and we almost got stuck in the mud and couldn't get out.

Please watch the video for specific road conditions.

Now let’s officially start today’s travel diary~

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

D6

DAY06 08.14 Harbin→Zhalantun Chaihe

The first thing after getting up in the morning and washing up

Just flip up Brother Hu Zi’s back seat and pack your luggage.

Then...it was stuffed like this

Because I have to bring three yoga mats with me this time.

The trunk is really full, there is no room left at all

My mom is mad about my yoga mat

But for Beibei's sake, I will take him with him no matter how difficult it is!

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

The camera bag and computer bag just can’t fit in.

Can only be placed in the back seat

It’s so difficult to be a star with a lot of luggage! !

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

Is it a youth hostel? Of course there is no breakfast.

On the recommendation of the boss, we went to this breakfast shop across the street

The environment is so-so, but you can bring your puppy with you~

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

You can get your own food here. The lady boss will come to pay later.

The pork and sauerkraut pie is very delicious, sour and appetizing!

As expected, you should eat more sauerkraut when you come to Northeast China. It’s really delicious.

Other flavors of pie taste good too

But it's a bit worse than sauerkraut and pork.

We later got some food, a total of 50 yuan

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

After breakfast, we went shopping on Central Street

In the morning, Harbin issued a rainstorm warning.

Fortunately, it was cloudy when we went out for a walk and it didn't rain.

The youth hostel is right next to Central Street, just walk across the street.

This street is really pretty, with all kinds of colorful European-style buildings

There aren’t many people, so it’s a good place to take photos and check in.

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

However, I heard that the food sold on Central Street is not authentic.

Specially designed to deceive us foreigners.

Don't know if that's true

Anyway, we didn’t buy anything.

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

There are very few people on the wide Central Street

But actually last year I knew that dogs were not allowed on Central Street.

I was a little nervous when I first entered

I walked around for a while and saw that no one was paying attention. I was quite happy.

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

In addition to some shops selling local specialty snacks such as Harbin red sausage,

There is actually no difference between other stores and pedestrian streets in other places.

There’s no point in buying it, it’s a good place to take photos.

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun
Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

Beibei was quite generous today and kept smiling.

I guess I feel really good seeing everyone here.

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun
The matryoshka doll shop is also considered a local specialty.

I don’t remember where I went to play when I was a kid, but I also bought a set of matryoshka dolls

It’s definitely not the Northeast anyway…

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

At first, I almost forgot about the fact that dogs are not allowed on Central Street.

As a result, when I was taking pictures down here, a policeman came over.

He said dogs are not allowed here and asked us to leave quickly.

Otherwise, you will be fined later = =

Okay, I took the photos anyway, so let’s just go

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

There is indeed a sign here prohibiting dogs.

I really don’t understand why dogs shouldn’t be allowed in a pedestrian street.

Our Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street doesn’t seem to have any signs prohibiting dogs.

Anyway, I often see people walking their dogs.

I instantly disliked the city of Harbin!

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

Our family often buys sausages from Harbin Roulian.

It’s all piled up!

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

After leaving Central Street we walked to Sophia Cathedral

About a distance of less than 1km

Of course I didn’t expect dogs to be able to enter Sophia Cathedral.

As a result, you can't even go to the surrounding squares, they are guarded by security guards.

The church is not open, so you can't go in.

Fortunately, I could still take a photo on the sidewalk outside.

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

Anyway, I have no interest in this kind of churches or buildings.

I just think I should check in when I come to Harbin.

I have no interest in understanding a city that is not dog-friendly.

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

Let your parents go to the square to see the cathedral up close

Brother Bei and I took Beibei outside to take pictures

Look how well I took the picture of Brother Bei!

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

It was his turn to take pictures of me, and he didn’t even take pictures of the entire top of the church! ! !

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

The appearance of Sophia Church is quite distinctive.

At least it's different from what I usually see in Shanghai.

Although you can't go in, it's still worth checking in outside.

For laymen like us, we are satisfied just punching in and watching the fun~

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun
Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

Below is a close-up shot of the cathedral taken by my dad

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun
Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun
Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

After punching in, we walked back to the youth hostel.

I bought the legendary Madiel popsicles at a roadside stall on the way.

But I don’t know if I bought a copycat one...

It doesn't feel like anything delicious, it just tastes like an ordinary popsicle.

It seems that the price is not cheap yet! !

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

Halfway through, my father had a stomachache

I went to the mall to solve it, but the toilet was on the second floor.

I ran up in a hurry and touched my pocket, but there was no paper!

Fortunately, there is a paper towel machine nearby, but you have to scan the QR code before the paper comes out.

I was already in a hurry, so I had to scan the QR code and follow it and then do some operations.

To be able to produce such a pitiful piece of paper made my father anxious to death.

We almost laughed like crazy after hearing this

Wuchang Rice actually has an experience store

It's so fresh, never seen before

Why didn't you go in and see how you experience rice?

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

After returning from Sophia Cathedral, we got in the car and set off

Epidemic prevention here in Harbin is quite strict...

There were blockades at several intersections, and the driver had to scan the QR code.

After filling in some information, I was allowed to go...

I don’t know what the point of doing this is.

We were just passing by. We didn’t even need to open the car windows.

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

There are all kinds of stalls and hawkers on both sides of the road.

The serious road is so narrow

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

People here in Harbin drive quite brutally...

It's really scary to see all kinds of people running around on the road...

Queuing up to get on the Harbin Songhua River Highway Bridge

Make a big circle~

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

From time to time you can see some European-style buildings on the roadside

This city is quite unique.

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun
Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun
Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

Checked in on the Songhua River on the way

I also passed by Sun Island in Harbin~

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun
Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

The heavy rain warning in the morning did not come true in the end.

Unexpectedly, when I left, the blue sky was revealed

The big sun bids us farewell to Harbin

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun
Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

Get on the highway!

It’s too dangerous for someone to walk against the highway on the highway...

But this kind of high-speed chaos is really common in other places...

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

Today’s total trip is 560km, the road is not far

But the expressway ends when you reach Qiqihar, and you have to take the provincial highway after that.

Moreover, the Mo'a Highway is still under construction, and the road condition is extremely bad...

As a result, we drove for more than 9 hours to arrive.

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

The weather is getting better~Happy~

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

However, it didn't last long before dark clouds came over me again...

We experienced several light rains, moderate rains, heavy rains and heavy rains on the way.

Fortunately, after leaving Harbin, there are very few high-speed trains.

I almost didn’t see a car for a long time, it was so fun to drive~

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

As the rain falls one after another, the temperature becomes more and more comfortable.

There are pictures to prove it. In mid-August, it was really only 20℃!

When the people of Shanghai were living in dire straits and high temperatures,

Let’s enjoy the cool temperature comfortably~ It’s cool~

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

I’ve arrived in Daqing, but I don’t seem to have seen any oil fields.

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

God, it's getting darker and darker...

There are really a lot of rain fruits this year. Fortunately, today I am mainly on the road.

Even if it rains, it won't be a big problem

Hope there will be good weather starting tomorrow! !

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

What a puppy, you have to put your head on daddy’s arm

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

Get off the expressway here in Qiqihar, and then it’s all provincial roads.

At the beginning, the road condition was very good, the newly built asphalt road

Although it is a two-way single lane, the speed limit is 80

But since there aren’t many cars, it’s still fun to drive.

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

The weather finally cleared up again

The scenery outside the window also becomes very broad

Although we haven’t arrived in Inner Mongolia yet, the scenery is already beautiful

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun
Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

Driving on such a road, my mood becomes very sunny

There was constant laughter and laughter in the car, so happy~

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

Crops are booming

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun
Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

The scenery on the roadside is gradually starting to look like a prairie!

But it looks very close on the map, but in fact it's still some distance away from the border.

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

It's already 4 p.m.

But the sun is still getting higher

I hope Father Sun can hold on and come down later! !

I also want to see the beauty of Mo'a Highway

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

The vast and sparsely populated Northeast

Only occasionally can you see some villages

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

The clouds are getting thinner and thinner, and the blue sky is showing more and more

The weather is getting better~

I hope we can all have good weather in the future!

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun
Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

Cross an unknown river

I didn’t know the river was always so wide

Or is it because of the heavy rain some time ago?

Anyway, it’s beautiful~

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun
Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

Little Beibei woke up and started driving again

I stuck my head out the window and refused to come back.

Isn’t the wind here mixed with the fragrance of green grass~

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun
Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun
Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

It’s so blue today!

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

In this way, I happily walked all the way to Longxing Town in Qiqihar.

Due to road construction on the main road, a row of intersections were all blocked.

We tried several routes but failed to break through.

I went to ask someone, but it was very complicated and I didn’t understand it.

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

In the end, Beima was smart and found a tricycle to lead the way.

Finally it took us out of this section of the road...
I never thought that one day we would be willing to take a leisurely trip

Driving behind a tricycle

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

Because this tricycle itself is also going in this direction.

So they didn’t charge us any tolls for traveling, what a nice guy!

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

I feel relieved knowing I can get around it.

In such a remote area, I am afraid that the road will be cut off.

Leave no way to survive

When the time comes, I will have to turn around and walk a long way back...

It's getting late, we can't afford to bother

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun
Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

The scenery on the roadside is getting more and more beautiful~

It's a pity that we have to rush on our way, so we can only take a quick look at it.

Otherwise, this place is really a good place to walk your dog anywhere!

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

Rolling hills began to appear in the distance

It smells like Ulan Butong!

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun
We couldn't help but talk about it on the way. The scenery is like the sea, grass and mountains in Yunnan.
Or is it similar to the Ili Prairie in Xinjiang, or similar to Ulan Butong?
Brother Bei, who had not gone to Yunnan and Xinjiang with us before, was helpless.
In the end, my mother couldn’t stand it anymore and said that she shouldn’t mention these two places more than three times a day.
However...it's of no use...
Maybe places with beautiful scenery always have some similarities~
Of course, the scenery in each place is different if you look closely.
You have to go see it with your own eyes to be satisfied~
Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

We set off at around 11 a.m. and it’s already 5:30 p.m.

We are still in Heilongjiang and have not yet reached Inner Mongolia.

Seeing that we are not far from the border, why haven’t we reached it yet?

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

I don’t know when it started, and the road conditions were a lot worse.

The asphalt road is gone and has become a less smooth cement road.

There are still places on the road that are flooded from time to time.

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun
Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

And after driving for a long time, I didn’t even touch a single car =0=

It almost made me wonder if I was going the wrong way...
But I have come this far, so I can only continue driving.

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

A muddy road appears!

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

The trees here grow really tall and dense

In the summer, it will definitely be cool here

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

Joyride Dog is secretly online again

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

This area should be a water forest formed due to previous heavy rains.

I really like this kind of road with trees on both sides blocking out the sun.

It feels like a time tunnel

I don’t know where it will lead people

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

There is also a thin river running through the woods on the roadside.

Hey hey~ Really, what a great place for dogs to have fun~

It's a pity that I wasted too much time in Harbin in the morning

I can only pass by in a hurry now

I couldn't stop and take Beibei for a run...

A winding mud river~

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

It’s really picturesque

We haven’t even entered Inner Mongolia yet, but the scenery is so beautiful!

We are looking forward to our trip to the prairie more and more! !

Beibei can't wait to stretch out her whole dog body

If dad hadn't caught the puppy

Maybe she really wants to jump out and roll around in this picturesque scenery

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

At 17:42, we finally entered Inner Mongolia!

This place should have been when the epidemic was severe before

The hard-core epidemic prevention method of blocking roads with dirt

There is a lot of dirt on the side...

Fortunately, it has been dug out now, otherwise we would have cried.

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun
Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

After entering Inner Mongolia, I felt that the scenery was even more beautiful.

I kept taking photos all the way and couldn’t stop.

My mother kept pouring cold water on me, saying that it would be like this every day after that.

Humph, ignore her!

No matter what the scenery looks like later, at least now I think this scenery is beautiful

It’s worth recording!

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

The road conditions are getting even worse now.

From time to time, there are some bumpy cannonball craters on the road.

Of course, most places are pretty good, but the road surface is not very smooth.

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

These low hills are so beautiful!

Why is there no one in such a beautiful place?

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

The sun is already very close to the horizon

I silently pray that the sun will last a little longer

At least let me take a look at the most beautiful Mo'a Highway!

The scenery anywhere in Inner Mongolia is so beautiful

I really like Inner Mongolia

The land is vast and the scenery is beautiful, and the beef and mutton are delicious.

And it’s also very dog-friendly!

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

Passing a village, maybe because there are so many cars passing by

The roads in the village are actually the worst...

All shell craters...

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

Although we entered Inner Mongolia, this is not the Mo-A Highway.

Instead, various rural and county roads

You have to wait until you get to Mushroom Gas Town before you can turn onto the Moutai Highway.

The road conditions on these rural and county roads are really not that good...

Of course compared to the road we are going to take next

It is actually very good to have such a road!

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

A shepherd appeared on the roadside

There is also a big wolfdog

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

I bumped on the concrete road on the rural road for a long time.

We finally turned onto the Maua Highway

Wow! Look at this road, how smart it is!

Brand new asphalt road, clean and smooth

It looks easy to drive!

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

There are still more than 100 kilometers of road. We feel that if the road is like this

That’s not just a swish, swish, swish, it will be over in a moment~

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

18:30, before the sun was about to go down, we refueled

In fact, Brother Huzi has quite a lot of oil, he only added 75 yuan of oil.

But we are worried that there are no gas stations on the road. When we see one, we will definitely go there.

There are quite a few gas stations on this road, so you don’t have to worry about the fuel supply during the peak season.

I don't know about it in winter.

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

While we were refueling, we went to the restroom.

He also let Bei Xiaobao, who had been in the car all afternoon, get off the bus and do some activities.

After refueling, I clamored to drive

So there are no photos for the next section of the road.

I haven’t seen much of the beauty of Mo’a Highway either.

There are woods on both sides, a lush green area

I guess it will look better in autumn.

In summer, I think the road is not as beautiful as the previous one.

After driving for a while, I felt that it would not be possible to continue like this.

It's probably 8 or 9 o'clock when we wait until the inn. It's too late to order food.

So I called the restaurant owner halfway and ordered a roast leg of lamb.

As a result, this road still has no signal from time to time.

I stopped mid-sentence... heartbroken

Finally, we finally drove to a place with signal.

We simply stopped and waited until the roasted leg of lamb was ready before leaving.

The boss is very nice, we are not staying at their house

(It’s not that I don’t want to stay, the room was full and I didn’t book it)

But just because of a phone call, the lamb leg was roasted for us.

I'm at ease now that I've made a reservation for dinner~

The road I drove wasn't too difficult.

It's just that there are a lot of bends and it's very sharp.

There are some potholes on the road from time to time, so I can’t drive fast.

I don’t know why, but Brother Bei here is crazy and dislikes my poor driving.

Unless I say I’m not tired, I must give him the car to drive...

Tsk~I’m quite happy and relaxed, hum~

19:50, the sun has completely set

Even the last trace of the afterglow is almost gone.

It's so dark in the mountains that you can't even see your fingers.

The Mo'a Highway is under construction, but there have been potholes intermittently before.

Or there will be a section of road with potholes from time to time.

The speed has been slow, and the sky is getting darker and darker.

We are all anxious and tired...

This road is getting worse as we drive, and the road ahead is only intermittent.

After all, there will be some better times

If you drive and drive, it will become a bad road, there will be no good road!

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

The most difficult thing to drive is because a section of the road is closed due to road construction.

You have to take a 2km detour from the dirt road next to it.

The dirt road was already soft because of the heavy rains before.

It was extremely soaked, and there were many large trucks passing by.

So good, the mud road was crushed into a mud river

There are all kinds of muddy puddles, big and small, deep and shallow.

Because it was too dark and nervous at the time, I didn’t take any photos.

The specific road conditions are in the video

Brother Huzi almost got stuck in the mud and couldn't get out.

Fortunately, Brother Bei is very skilled and calm in times of crisis (my mother’s original words)

Brother Huzi is a four-wheel drive vehicle and has plenty of power.

Finally got out of the quagmire smoothly

Watching the video, I found that it was only a short period of time

But at that time, I held my breath and felt that everything was quiet

There is only the roar of Brother Huzi in my ears

It seems like a long, long time has passed...

So scary

Fortunately, after walking this 2km of the worst dirt road,

The road ahead will be relatively easy.

Around 8:30, we finally arrived at the hotel!

When I got off the car, I was shocked

Oh my God! ! What has my brother Hu Zi experienced! !

How did it become like this! ! !

I have never seen Brother Huzi so dirty before

The temperature is only 16℃ now. It’s so cold when we get out of the car.

Wearing only short-sleeves, I ran all the way into the restaurant

We had dinner at Zhalantun Chaihe Blue Water Bay Resort

I originally wanted to book a room at their house... but it was fully booked.

Reviews say their food is delicious

Even if you don’t live there, you can still come here to eat~

Ordered roast leg of lamb on the way! It tastes great!

It's just a little small, and it doesn't feel like it's enough for us.

I also ordered fried Chinese cabbage, fried potato slices, and tomato and egg soup.

They all taste great, especially the fried potato chips

There is also corn in the rice

Because the roasted leg of lamb didn’t look big, we added another portion of hand-caught lamb.

Dip in chive flowers, very fragrant and tender

Beibei also rubbed a little bit.

The total cost of these dishes is 530 yuan. It’s so satisfying that it goes down your throat!

After a delicious meal, all the fatigue from the journey was instantly eliminated.

Satisfied, I left the restaurant and headed to my accommodation tonight.

Today we stayed at Zhalantun Linshui Resort Villa

Just not far from Blue Water Bay Resort Villa

But the signs on the map were unclear, so I wandered around for a long time.

Finally, I called my boss and finally found him.

When I booked a room, I found it in a hurry.

At that time, this accommodation had few reviews on Ctrip and not many photos.

But considering that there weren’t many accommodations nearby, I booked it directly.

Ctrip still says that pets are not allowed.

I wasn't happy to call and ask, I thought I'd just sneak in secretly.

(The boss lady saw it the next day and didn’t say anything. She even praised Beibei for being obedient and cute)

I didn't expect this room to be better than I expected.

The layout is exactly the same as the Blue Water Bay that I loved so much before.

They are also independent small houses with beautiful yards.

It’s just that the layout in the room is relatively simple, with wallpaper

The exterior and interior walls of Blue Water Bay are all decorated with logs.

It feels more like a holiday cabin

But the price of this hotel is much cheaper, 263 yuan/room/night

The price at Blue Water Bay should be 500~600 per night.

It's half cheaper

And besides us, there were no other tourists that night

We've booked the entire resort~

The room layout is simple but clean

The area is quite large and luggage can be spread out.

Experienced the youth hostel in Harbin yesterday

I pay more attention to the room size

The bath water is pretty good

It's just that the water is slow and the door is not sealed well.

Take a shower, there is a puddle of water outside the door

After packing my luggage, I went out to take two more photos of Brother Hu Zi.

My dad has already diligently filled a basin of water and is ready to wipe Brother Hu Zi’s body.

emmm, I have a hunch that if I go out again in the future, if I encounter this kind of situation

It should be Brother Bei who is actively giving the big tank a bath.

Beibei Travel Notes | Summer Grassland Hulunbuir + Shanxi 22-Day Tour (3) | Harbin → Zhalantun

After eating earlier, when I was about to get in the car and drive to my accommodation

Brother Bei simply didn’t know what to do, he didn’t know how to open the door.

White little Beibei and dirty Brother Huzi

Brother Huzi has worked really hard, and his hard work is a great reward! !

Horrible

The lady boss was very nice and lent us the washing machine.

My mother washed all the clothes and hung them to dry in the yard.

Later on, it actually rained, quite heavily.

The weather is so good today, why is it raining? !

I originally wanted to take pictures of the stars in the yard...

The hotel we stayed in was relatively remote, with almost no other people around.

So there is no light pollution, making it a very suitable place for shooting stars.

Now I can only wash up and go to bed early.

There is really no need for air conditioning here...I will freeze to death if I sleep without a quilt.

Yoga mats were laid out in our room today

So I took Beibei to bed

As a result, the little stinky dog got up once at three o'clock in the middle of the night

I woke up twice more at six o'clock in the morning.

All I want to do is go out and find my dad!

What a heartless little villain

As soon as dad comes, he doesn’t want his sister anymore.

Okay, today is actually another day of traveling.

The next part is really about to start the official play!

See you in the next article~
