Journey to the East (4) – Ramen and Zoo

After knowing that I came to Tokyo, many friends told me to eat Ichiran Ramen, saying that it is the most delicious thing in Tokyo. However, Lu Dou, who has lived in Japan for many years, was very disdainful and said that there are many delicious things in Tokyo. Yilan is just an internet celebrity store popular among Chinese people. For me, it doesn’t matter. Internet celebrities can also try it. There happens to be a store in Kabukicho and I found it quickly.

This Internet celebrity shop is only about the size of a palm. It is not a normal dining table and chairs. There is one space for each person, like a small space for visiting a prisoner. Opposite the table is the kitchen. The waiter orders the meal opposite you, brings the noodles, and then draws the curtain. , you can’t see what’s going on in the kitchen. Even if it’s a family, only one person can eat at one table. After eating, I discovered that the boards between the shelves can be folded, so they don’t need to be used when eating the same dish. It was passed around, haha, it’s the first time to eat like this, it’s so fun.

The ramen is quite delicious. It is indeed very suitable for Chinese tastes. I can’t say it has any special characteristics. Anyway, it is not much different from the ones in China. A bowl is about RMB 60. The portion is not bad. I ordered another. The pork slices seemed to be pork belly rolls that had been blanched and sprinkled with spicy noodles and chopped green onions. It was also delicious. This restaurant must have a lot of tourists. There are also packaged ramen sold at the door. Someone must have brought it back home.

One of the most important reasons for coming to Tokyo is to see museums, and I definitely want to go to Ueno Park. Leaving the alleys of Kabukicho and coming to the main street, suddenly there was a huge crowd of people, and even more so when entering the subway station. There are many subway lines in Tokyo, and they are operated by multiple companies, which is quite complicated. It took us almost two days of messing around before we figured out the cheapest way to buy tickets, which was also very interesting.

Ueno is a big station, and Ueno Park is also quite big. It includes Shinobazu Pond, Ueno Zoo, Tokyo National Museum, Tokyo Museum of Art, National Science Museum, National Museum of Western Art, Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, Ueno Museum of Art, etc., and Toshogu Shrine, multiple shrines and large areas of green space and woods are a very comprehensive large park. You can't see it all in one day. We can only selectively watch flowers.

I first looked at a few shrines, and they all looked similar, including Gojoten Shrine, Hanazono Michiga Shrine, etc., and the shrines were all next to each other. I really didn’t know what the difference was. Walking from the shrine to the zoo, there are dense groves all around. Crows bigger than chickens are either squatting on stone monuments and sleeping, or walking struttingly on the roads or grass, not afraid of people at all.

Adult admission to Ueno Zoo is 600 yen, and half price for children. The most famous one is the giant panda donated by China. Not only do you have to queue up to enter the panda pavilion, but you are also not allowed to stay. The security personnel in the pavilion constantly urge you to go. Walk forward and take a photo with the panda in the glass room, which is almost in motion. Of course, the three pandas here are so pampered that they are really lazy. They all sleep on their backs and pay no attention to tourists. They are not like the ones we have in Chengdu. They are either fighting or climbing trees and playing all the time.

Maybe it’s because the weather is hot, and the elephants are a little dazed, hiding far away by the pool, with their butts facing people; most of the birds in the small bird area are motionless, like sculptures; how do polar bears adapt to this climate? I walked around the garden very irritably, and from time to time I would take a high dive, and then I would hold a large piece of ice and chew on it. It was really hot. Miao Dabao said that the polar bear's diving level was higher than that of Filipino athletes. She thought of the thin black boy who failed during a diving competition.

The most interesting thing is the King Kong gorilla. They are in a separate museum. A family of five lives together. They have obvious class status. The parent should be the most dominant one. He looks extremely powerful and can bully them at any time. The other family members, especially the sexy big ass, swaying as they walk, are so handsome. There are also two little ones, with not much age difference, fighting back and forth, chasing between tree trunks and rocks, it's a lot of fun.

The weather was hot, so we didn't finish visiting Ueno Zoo carefully. We had to save time for the museum, which is the place I want to visit most.
