One month before departure, I started busy preparations. Make a list of what you need to bring, buy various things you need on the road through offline and online shopping channels, and look for various strategies to familiarize yourself with the route. And consider various situations that may occur on the road, and then think of strategies to deal with the situation (some people may think that I am too caring, but after all, I am more organized in doing things. O(∩ _∩)O).
One week before departure, we have to start sending the car. I started to pack some of my luggage and send some equipment with the bike first (big equipment such as tents, sleeping bags, camel bags, etc. can be sent with the bike first). I use China Railway Express to send the car. The advantage of China Railway Express is that it can send the whole car without packing, which prevents the car from being worn or even damaged during the express delivery process. It is also very fast (it only takes 5 days time). Some places may not be able to send it to Yecheng, but you can send it to Kashgar first and then transfer it. It is not troublesome, and Kashgar is worth a visit (you can also use Kashgar as a starting point, so you can get used to it first).
After packing the luggage to be sent, I started to send the car. Some of the luggage weighed 6 kilograms. The rear tires were flat when I sat on them. I felt sorry for my rear tires. . .
It is 40km from the school to Guangzhou East Railway Station, but the weather is hot, it is my first time to ride with a heavy load, and there are many cars in the city, so it is inevitable that I am not used to it, so I walked 5km Stopped for a break. I was really worried about whether I could take the New Tibet Line (later it turned out that the worries were unnecessary)
After riding off the road, I found that there was a piece of iron wire stuck in the rear wheel. I pinched the rear tire and found that it was not leaking. Just keep riding.
There are so many cars in the city, and the roads for non-motorized vehicles are not spacious enough.
After riding for two and a half hours, we finally arrived at Guangzhou East Railway Station. I really didn’t feel comfortable that day, and I was very worried about the journey ahead.
Remove the additional items from the car (such as front bags, lights, etc.) and pack all the luggage into a large snakeskin bag (it is sold online and is very cheap, but it is more expensive to buy it at the station). I checked the car again and found that the rear wheel was leaking a little, probably because the inner tube was punctured. I thought it was getting late and I would fix it when the car got there. So I went through the formalities and sent the car and part of my luggage safely. (Bicycles are calculated as 25 kilograms, and luggage is 6 kilograms. The freight from Guangzhou to Yecheng is 230 yuan in total, which is not expensive.)
The day before departure, start organizing other equipment and take it with you. There is a lot of stuff, it weighs 5 kilograms, and it is very tiring to carry it by myself. But the patience will pass.
A long train journey requires food!
Tickets have been collected in advance
The night before departure, I couldn't sleep all night...
