Foreword

Four days and three nights for two people in Guangzhou

The impression Guangzhou left on me

A strong sense of history

The warmth of people in the market

There are specialty snack streets everywhere you go.

Endless snacks

Endless tea

There are many unique ancient buildings wherever you go.

In short

It's very retro, very urban, very "Night Shanghai" , very Republic of China style sentimental ...

【scene】

The night view is beautiful and the architecture is retro. Shamian Island, Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, Yongqingfang, etc. are all together and shuttle between each other, so you can feel the city and fireworks of Guangzhou very well.

【Food】

Don’t worry if you eat and drink too much. Friends who are trying to lose weight suggest giving up on Guangzhou!

【live】

It is recommended to live near Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, close to the subway, and close to the riverside. Because this place is very close to many attractions, most of which are within 3 kilometers. You don’t have to worry about food because there are several snack streets. Moreover, it is very suitable for walking along Jiangxi Road, the night view is beautiful, and the buildings on that road are very grand and suitable for taking pictures.

【OK】

If you travel more than three kilometers, it is recommended to take the subway or take a taxi. If you are closer, you can ride shared bicycles. There are many bicycles and there are not many parking rules. You can park as you ride. However, the streets and alleys nearby are very narrow and there are no bicycle lanes, so cycling is very exciting. Either you are riding side by side with cars on the motorway, or you are riding on the blind path in front of the store to feel the bumps, so please pay attention to safety. .

1. Night tour in Guangzhou

Guangzhou Tower

Guangzhou Tower

Canton Tower is a landmark building in Guangzhou. I have been to the extreme challenge several times before. When I took a night tour of the Pearl River and passed underneath, I still thought it was very spectacular and beautiful.

Night cruise on the Pearl River

A night cruise on the Pearl River means buying a ticket at the pier and taking a cruise around the Pearl River. A round trip takes about 70-90 minutes. Ferry tickets are available at different price points, with different ship types, different floors, and different prices. Ferry tickets range from 60-150. I have to say, this trip is really worth it.

The cruise ship is quite big. There are five or six people in each boat, and there will be some snacks and a cup of tea. If you don’t care about the boat ticket, you must buy the open-air ticket on the second and third floors. There is no need for the first floor, you can’t see anything. But we bought tickets for the first floor, and then ran to the second floor to watch the night view.

The river breeze was very comfortable at night. I could see Sun Yat-sen University and the Canton Tower. When I passed under the bridge, people on the bridge started cheering. It was a very special and warm scenery.

In addition to taking a cruise, you can also ride a bike or walk along the river to feel the prosperity and romance at night. Although there is the Qiantang River in Hangzhou and there are riversides in different places, the feeling along the Pearl River is still very different. Maybe it’s because the Pearl River is not that wide, there is no dam to block it, and the buildings along the river are more European-style, so it has a unique flavor.

Yongqingfang

In addition to the night tour of the Pearl River, there are several pedestrian streets and snack streets that are also very lively at night. For example, Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, Yongqingfang, etc. are all not far away.

2. Traveling through the old streets

There is a street for snacks, a street for dry goods, a street for calligraphy and painting, a street for milk tea, a street for seafood, a street for stationery, a street for Japanese food, a street for food stalls...

I have been riding bicycles in various ways these past few days. The biggest feeling is that the roads are very narrow, with many one-way streets and no non-motorized lanes. Basically, you are riding on the blind road in front of a small shop. Compared with the strict road rules in Hangzhou, Guangzhou is really too casual. You can feel the warmth of people in the city, but you must also pay attention to safety.

There are many self-playing and singing groups by the river, many of which are senior groups. They sing Cantonese songs while enjoying the river breeze. It’s so pleasant!

Regarding non-motorized lanes, I have been observing these days, and there really are none. I didn’t take any photos specifically, I just took a few pictures from the video as a basis.

3. Shamian Island

Shamian Island is a community that has everything. It mainly takes photos of architecture, European style, many colorful retro buildings, and many people take wedding photos. Because I went there in the afternoon and it was relatively hot, I didn’t take many photos.

4. Eating in Guangzhou

morning tea

Morning tea in Guangzhou is a must-eat. We checked into Guangzhou Restaurant, a time-honored restaurant with shrimp dumplings, chicken feet, red sausage, money tripe, squab, etc. There are many places to have morning tea. You don’t have to go there in the morning. It was already noon when we went there, and there were still many people.

In addition to morning tea, we also checked out claypot rice, crispy pork belly, rice rolls, beef river, Grandma's beef offal, Chen Tianji fish skin, Yun Teng casserole porridge, garlic chicken wings, squid tubes, etc...

In addition, you can’t miss the Cantonese-style desserts, including double-skinned milk, ginger milk, sago dew, Cantonese-style egg tarts, Enning ice cream, etc.

Finally, it’s about drinking. I heard before that Guangzhou has the most milk tea brands in milk tea shops in the country. After I went there, it certainly lived up to its reputation. There are many unknown brands. There are often three milk tea shops with the same name on a 500-meter street. There are many coconut series and lemon tea series.

5. Playing in Chimelong

Chimelong has a wildlife park, a water park, and a happy world, all together, but you have to buy tickets separately. Since we only had one day left for Chimelong, we finally chose to go to the Chimelong Happy World.

There are five themed areas, and I guess the specialty should be roller coasters, because there are many different roller coasters with different themes and different levels of thrills. Since I am timid, I did not try them.

In addition to roller coasters with many themes, there are also many exciting projects, which are similar to those in ordinary amusement parks.

In addition, there are visual theaters, such as 4D Cinema, Interstellar Battle, etc. You need to wear 3D glasses. It is good to go in the afternoon because it is indoors and cool.

There are several performances at different times and places. We only caught up with the joyful and colorful parade around three o'clock. Although it was not as exciting as Disney's, it was still worth experiencing the joyful atmosphere.

Finally, there was the electronic music party in the evening, a wild disco scene. The DJ girl was very good at stirring up the atmosphere. I could only feel the atmosphere of the scene, after all, I couldn’t dance. I really admire those people who can jump up, shake, and get high when the camera catches them!

Happy and colorful

grand parade

Pat, pat, pat

This is my third day in Guangzhou. I spent the first two days walking around the downtown area, eating and shopping, so I didn’t take many photos. But today I came to the amusement park and got two cute little ones pierced. The whole happy gene was released, so I kept patting~

6. Super Wenheyou

The first two days of the itinerary were basically just eating, drinking, shopping, having fun, feeling and integrating. Today’s trip is to visit two internet celebrity check-in spots.

The first place to check in is [Super Wenheyou]

Before going, we took the subway to the Tiyu West Road subway station and took a photo of us, but the photo was not good and embarrassing~

The walk from Tiyu West Road subway station to Super Wenheyou should be the most modern stretch of road in these four days~

When we arrived at Wenheyou, the visual effect of this retro building was still very shocking. There were some authentic Guangzhou snacks inside, which is called the "Disney" of the food industry.

Because opposite Wen Heyou is Taikoo Hui, the most prosperous shopping mall, which houses brands such as Hermès and LV. And Wen Heyou, opposite the luxury shopping mall, sells street food, so it also has a dramatic effect - Hermès sells cows. miscellaneous!

7. BIG Haizhuwan Art Park

The second check-in place is BIG Bay Art Park. This place is relatively far away. We took a taxi. It is also 2 kilometers away from the subway entrance, so the surrounding area is relatively desolate, but this park is still very large and beautiful.

It is recommended to come in the evening. When the sun sets, it is beautiful to take pictures casually. There is an indoor Yi Jianlian basketball training base and an outdoor basketball court where many people are playing basketball. When we went there, there were also many internet celebrity short video teams taking photos and videos there.

The overall design style inside is very nice, American street style, Korean street style, various graffiti walls, cafes, retro red brick walls, rainbow lasers, there are many photo scenes, and it is by the river, you can see the river view and the river breeze, the view is very wide, I like it Friends who took pictures in the past will definitely like it.
