Last time I talked about: Tracing the mystery of the disappearance of the mysterious Guge Dynasty ...

Today we continue to drive while admiring the natural scenery on the Xinjiang-Tibet Line.

Sea of cloudscontinuous

The mountains are ups and downs

The hills are colorful

On the top of the mountain are colorful prayer flags printed with Buddha's teachings and patterns of birds and animals.

Herds of cattle and sheep on the green grassland

When Hee Hee saw the sheep, he excitedly knocked over the dog food again. He must have been a shepherd dog in his previous life!

At noon, I saw the wonderful scenery of snow-capped mountains, grasslands, and streams, and temporarily parked here.

Cooking egg fried rice with olives in the RV

After a short break, we continued walking, admiring the beautiful scenery in solitude along the way. We met a 219 cyclist by chance. His courage was commendable!

Admire the moving clouds, flowing water, and mountains along the way

beautiful wetland

The clouds hang low in the air, and their projections are floating on the hills. What a vivid landscape painting!

Hee hee, I was so happy to see it

Traveling to No. 3888 of the New 219 National Highway, we encountered the "Holy Mountain" Kailash - the main peak of Mount Gangdise, one of the four sacred mountains of Tibetan Buddhism, and considered the center of the world by the four major religions.

One lap around Mount Kailash can wash away a lifetime of sins;

Turning 10 times can save you from the pain of hell in 500 reincarnations;

You can achieve enlightenment and become a Buddha in this life by turning it 108 times.

I wish all the friends who see it good health, all the best, and all their wishes come true!

Then we will leave the beautiful secret land of Tibet, Ali in the sky

In the evening, the sunset gradually appeared, and the setting sun stretched the shadow...

We drove until late at night, and when we arrived at Pa Yang Town, we were already hungry and came to a Northeastern restaurant.

Rich Northeastern style, the store is full of bright red and green colors

Braised vermicelli with cabbage

Northeastern dumplings with leek and egg filling

In the evening, we parked our car at the hotel square in Pa Yang and fell asleep. Good night everyone!

When I woke up in the morning, there was only one car parked in the huge square, which was very empty.

Hee hee, his eyes were squinted by the sun

Continue driving to Lazi, the last stop on the 219 Xinjiang Line

Passing through Zhongba County

Standing on the observation deck and watching the scenery, the scenery is pleasant

Continue on your way, you can often see armed police vehicles repairing roads on 219

The scenery is still beautiful

Sheep crossing the road

When I came to the small county town at noon, I still ate Northeastern cuisine and Northeastern dumplings.

After dinner, we walked to No. 1888 of the old 219-Xinjiang-Tibet line and took a group photo!

Suddenly, heavy rain pours down ahead, pouring on mountains, grasslands, and lakes, bringing vitality to nature.

Take a group photo at the 2019 point of the Jinglao 219 Xinzang Line to prove that you have been here in 2019!

In the evening, we arrived at the end of the Xinjiang-Tibet Line - Lazi!

In the evening, eat delicious Shaanxi Roujiamo and youpo noodles

The next day, I searched around for the famous Lazi Tibetan Knife. After asking the locals, I found the Tibetan Knife Professional Cooperative in Lazi Village, Lazi Town.

In the small workshop, I met PudaWa, the famous inheritor of Lazi Tibetan swords. There are about 30 to 50 local masters who actually make Tibetan knives in Lazi County, Shigatse. The most famous ones are Cidanwangjia, the father of the Zilong knife, and members of the Lazi Tibetan knife cooperative, Pudawa, Pubu and Qiongbala. .

After buying the Lazi Tibetan knife that I have longed for, I continued to Shigatse City.

Rural natural scenery along the way

Arriving in Shigatse soon, we parked at the parking lot of Norbulingka Park. The environment is beautiful and Kelsang flowers can be seen everywhere.

I took Hee Hee for a walk on the grass and picked up a bone.

Arrive at the palace-like prosperous Tashilhunpo Temple

Visit the Tibetan style street in front of the temple

Experience an authentic Tibetan meal!

Authentic Tibetan style decoration, Tibetans are dining

After thinking for a while, I ordered a bunch of dishes with names I couldn’t understand.

Butter tea is indispensable for Tibetan meals

Lucky Sambo

Fried lamb chops

Fried Ginseng with Corn

Mutton pancakes, but no mutton in sight

As for the taste, emmmm... I'll just stick to Chinese food from now on!

After dinner, we strolled around the pedestrian street and looked at the Tibetan accessories that would surely make you dazzled. They were so rich.

Standard Tibetan clothing, from hats to long skirts to hanging accessories, must be very difficult to wear.

The most common ones are red coral stone and blue turquoise

The most precious Buddhist Dzi beads

There are also various tea utensils and tea bowls

After visiting the Tibetan style street, we went back to the RV. Go to bed early. Good night everyone!
