Today we came to Jianchuan Ancient City. Jianchuan Ancient City dates from the Yuan Dynasty to the late Zheng Dynasty and has a history of more than 650 years. The streets and lanes built in the Ming Dynasty remain unchanged in direction, scale, and pattern. After vicissitudes of life, their ancient appearance remains unchanged.
Since it is the off-season, most shops are closed and there are few people around. Different from the over-commercialization of Lijiang Old Town, Jianchuan Ancient Street is relatively well-preserved. You can slow down and savor the antique and authentic flavor of the ancient city.
