——A trip to Hongshi Gorge.

This was the sneaker novice’s first outdoor electric shock trip, and he made countless mistakes made by novices in outdoor shoes. The Hongshi Gorge in my memory is "red", the red of the Yadan landform, and the blood and tears of sneaker Xiaobai...

In the early morning, sneaker Xiaobai happily got on the gathering bus wearing his newly bought sneakers. This was a one-day trip organized by an outdoor group. As a "plug-in" (note 1), sneaker Xiaobai set out wearing a pullover quilted jacket, a backpack, and a baseball cap.

Before setting off, I had no idea about this one-day trip. I only knew to go to a place called Hongshi Gorge , which is probably in Anhui Province and has an altitude of 400+ It is similar to Nanjing Purple Mountain. A road meal needs to be prepared (Note 2).

In fact, this time we went to the Hongshi Gorge in Daheng Mountain near Mingguang, Anhui. I had no idea how to get there. I only knew that the bus took a part of the road that could be called a trail and came to a village. Later I found out that It is Hongxing Village at the foot of Hongshixia Mountain. The bus was challenged at the entrance of the village, and the villagers gave us "toll money" before we were allowed to drive in.

Finally, we got off the bus at a certain place, and a group of 100+ people in three buses headed towards the mountain in a mighty procession.

The beginning of every outdoor event is full of laughter and joy. In early winter, the desolate scenery does not dampen everyone's enthusiasm for outdoor activities at all. After passing through the small village at the foot of the mountain and the gray hillside, I finally saw a touch of red!

The red hill stands tall and handsome in front of us. The mountain that has been eroded by wind and water for thousands of years has shown special texture and shape. Although the mountain is small, it is quite steep. The new donkeys and I encountered the first small problem - a A seemingly inaccessible hillside.

Seeing our hesitation, an old donkey showed us the correct way to go uphill. After getting this skill, everyone successfully passed the level, which is gratifying!

Arriving at the top of the first slope, the panoramic view of the Yadan landform comes into view. The overwhelming red color fills the field of vision. There are strange-shaped mountains and hills posing far and near, waiting for everyone to take them into the camera. Suddenly, there was a clicking sound everywhere.

"Yadan Landform" Popular science: a typical wind-eroded landform. "Yadan" means "hill with steep walls" in Uyghur. Nowadays, it generally refers to a wind-eroded landform in dry areas. The ground formed by river-lake earthy sediments has formed wind-eroded mounds and wind-eroded depressions parallel to the prevailing wind direction and arranged alternately through weathering, intermittent water erosion and wind erosion ( Trench) landform combination.

China's Yadan landforms are mostly found in Xinjiang and Gansu, such as Lop Nur, Hami, and Dunhuang.

The group of friends who had finished their road meals began to split up. Within half an hour, a team of more than 100 people went their separate ways and scattered among the red mountains. The sneaker novice was in a team of 6, including 3 old donkeys who were fully equipped with trekking poles, outdoor gloves, hiking shoes, and rich experience. I waited for the new donkeys and saw that no one was nearby. I started to panic.

At this time, a big problem appeared for the new donkey: he didn’t know the direction. I don’t know where the road is at all … Fortunately, I know how to follow the old donkey. You must know that walking outdoors is not an ordinary path! Well, there is no road at all.

It had just rained the day before, and the red soil was nice but very slippery, so the "skateboard shoes" began to exert their "power"! That slippery thing... The old donkey Qiwancha gave me the hiking pole (special thanks to Qiwancha for bringing me into the outdoor journey and for the selfless help on my outdoor journey). Some steep mountain walls can be passed almost with hands and feet, adhering to the Yadan landform, and you can feel the unique striped texture up close.

Not long after walking, the unique red scenery disappeared, and we began to walk into the "thorny" back mountain. I don't know which direction it is in Hongshi Gorge. There are low shrubs everywhere, and the terrible thing is that there are thorns on the shrubs! No gloves! You have to open the way with your hands! At the critical moment, Qiwancha selflessly shared a glove with me again (touched)! This section of the road down the mountain was really painful. After returning home, each of us found the gift that Hongshixia left us - a few small thorns!

Finally, we descended to a gentle area, took a breather, tied up our shoes, pulled out some thorns, and exchanged our apples for the carrots plucked from the field by the local old lady to gnaw on. The old aunt didn't want our apples, but gave us a bunch of carrots, which she washed in the stream beside the field and ate each of us.

I finally met two group friends on the road. Where have they gone? ! !

Just as they were about to leave the Red Rock Gorge, the 6-man team actually committed a big death. Instead of walking on the flat path, we walked straight through a deep depression. The entrance is a slope more than 2 meters deep with a slope of about 70 degrees.

The old donkey and the little bun took the lead, ran a few steps along the slope, and jumped to the bottom. Several old donkeys went downhill one after another, leaving us, the new donkeys, staying up there in a daze. Little Baozi inserted her hiking pole more than 1 meter from the bottom and said to us: "Come! Slide down and step on my hiking pole." We boldly went down one by one.

When it was my turn, my "skateboard shoes" showed off their power and slid down almost as soon as I approached the slope. I spread my legs directly and rode on the trekking pole, which almost broke Xiaobaozi's trekking pole.

"Climb the mountain."

We laughed and laughed. Although it is embarrassing and full of thorns, there is a small joy in my heart that I have defeated myself! This is probably the charm of the outdoors!

When I got back to the car, I found that most of the group of friends had arrived. Everyone appeared from nowhere. All roads lead to Rome! After waiting for more than two hours, the last group of lost friends finally arrived. Everyone goes home safely!
