Dali

It’s the legendary Dali with flowers, snow and moon~

It is said that people in ancient times generally traveled in two ways: one was to go to Beijing to catch the exam and study, and the other was to visit old friends. I can be considered the second type this time~ Reminiscing about the past and talking about the current situation with friends is indeed a great blessing in life~

After seeing my circle of friends, a junior high school classmate said that he was about to arrive in Yunnan, and there was another junior high school classmate with him. Haha, what a coincidence~ We meet each other everywhere in life. I was worried about being alone without a companion, so I decided to I bought a ticket and met them~

Kunming→Dali

Saying goodbye to Kunming, where my friends gather, I set off for Dali~ I always feel that the girl wearing a headscarf has a mysterious color, and I can’t help but take a few more glances~

After meeting at the station, we went to the inn in the ancient town together. A group of one became a group of three~

Looking at the past scene from the rooftop of the inn~

After a short rest, we went to visit the ancient city.

The ancient city of Dali was not as stunning as expected but a bit disappointing.

Except for the city gate and the stone road where you can still see the traces of time, everything else has become commercialized. The streets are full of shops, noisy music and people, and the inns here are all antique buildings. At best, they are just... Counterfeit products come with great pleasure and return with disappointment~

Luckily we only stayed here for one night. The next day we started our cycling tour of Erhai Lake~

Our inn is in Shuanglang Ancient Town, close to the seaside

In the afternoon, we started to go around the sea. Because we only took the tram for half a day, after asking about the price, I felt that renting a tram in the town was not worth it (just driving costs 40 yuan), so I searched for a tram for a long time. Later, while wandering, I attracted the attention of an innkeeper. , it turns out that her home has Harrow’s shared tram ~ it’s only 19 yuan!

Since we were delayed for too long at the Internet celebrity check-in spot - Sky Realm (a very hidden and even somewhat shabby man-made place specially used for taking photos), the sun was almost setting when we set off towards Xiao Putuo~

I saw the sunset when I was going downhill. When I found a place to stop the tram, I could only take pictures of the sunset (crying)~

Bai aunties chatting on the slope near the road by the sea~

Little Putuo is already dark, but it is still a bit mysterious under the twilight~

When the tram was parked, I accidentally turned the accelerator. The tram suddenly moved forward. In order to prevent the tram from rushing into the sea, I twisted my hand to the left. The skin on my hand was rubbed off. The two leaves of the Apple bracelet I was wearing on my hand were probably also on it. It was wiped out there. Fortunately, Harrow’s trams are not very fast~i, it was a false alarm~

My two little friends~ It has been more than ten years since junior high school and I feel that they have not changed at all~

It was already dark when we walked back. It takes an hour and a half to get from Little Putuo to the inn, and our tram speed can no longer increase.

Although this is a place frequented by tourists, there are still no street lights on the mountain road around the sea. There is an inn just a few steps away, and the lights of the tram are not bright enough. However, the three little girls had better go back to the inn as soon as possible, so we had to bite the bullet and touch all the way. Returning in the dark.

Along the way, when meeting a large car, he always flashed his eyes without blinking. Moreover, the weather in Yunnan is very cold in the morning and evening. We all wrapped our heads tightly, but without gloves, it was still very cold when the wind passed through our sleeves.

Along the mountain road, uphill and downhill, I encountered a sewer cover from time to time, and my whole body was bounced up and down. It was really exciting and exciting (face covering).

Because the road was dark, we would call out to our friends behind us from time to time to make sure no one was left behind. I spent most of the time in the middle, with people in front clearing the way and people behind me seeing me, so I felt the most secure.

This is the first time I have officially ridden a tram on the road. I was quite nervous at first. Fortunately, this tram is small and easy to control, so I didn’t feel too panicky. Riding all the way down, there were no surprises and I was very happy.

The experience of cycling around Erhai Lake is still great! ! !

Shuanglang Ancient Town has a much richer atmosphere of life than Dali Ancient Town. Walking on the streets of the ancient town in the morning, you can see the local Locals come back from shopping and buy some rice cakes for breakfast in town, and it's very quiet.

Children going to school, the puppy is still following behind~

Local residents returning from shopping for groceries

Most of the residents here have very long hair and tie it up. Especially the older generation wear headscarves and wear ethnic clothes. You can feel that the folk customs are very simple.

When I was tired from walking, I sat down to rest. There was a puppy basking in the sun next to me~ (It’s really not the same photo as above)

The three of us found a shop to have our hair braided. My friend’s sunglasses lost a lens while riding yesterday (haha), so we had to find a cheap shop here in the ancient town to buy a new pair~

The sister who braided her hair said that the folk customs here used to be more simple. In recent years, with the development of tourism, it has changed a lot. According to past experience, there will be many tourists coming here to celebrate the New Year because there will be activities in their town. So it will be very lively then.

I don’t know whether it’s better to live a life without being disturbed before or to live a life where you can do business and make money just by building a simple storefront in front of your house.

(Don’t be scared by the photo, because there is another one below. The front camera of the mobile phone is so crappy, so just make do with it)

There happens to be a station selling bus tickets next to the store. After comparing the prices, we bought the tickets and walked around before getting on the bus to Lijiang.
