Shenyang, formerly known as Fengtian and Shengjing
Capital of Liaoning Province, geographical center of Northeast Asia
In 1625, Nurhachi moved his capital to Shenyang and established the Qing Dynasty here.
During the Republic of China, the Japanese and puppets established the puppet Manchukuo here.
After the founding of New China, it became a heavy industry base
When I decided to go to Shenyang, an epidemic broke out in Shenyang
From the uncle’s trajectory map, we can see that Shenyang Laotie will enjoy
Before departure, I listed the purpose of my trip
Eat chicken, skewer and take a bath
day 1 Beijing-Shenyang-Caita Night Market
The high-speed train from Beijing to Shenyang takes less than 3 hours
But you need to start from Chaoyang Station
There is currently no subway, so it’s not very convenient.
It’s midsummer, and the road to the north is lush and green.
It’s just that the signal is really not that good.
Arrive at Shenyang Station. There are domes in the center and two wings.
The walls are made of red bricks and the door frames and corners are made of white stone
The architectural style of the east station building is similar to Tokyo Station
Just outside the door is the subway station "Shenyang Station"
Suddenly a little cute
The B&B we booked is near the train station
It's next to Wanda Plaza, so it's not a hassle to find food.
The building where the B&B is located is relatively depressed.
Fortunately, taking a taxi in Shenyang is not expensive.
The accommodation is not too far from the attractions
After settling down, I went to Wanda to find food.
I chose a Northeastern restaurant "Fengtian Xiaoman Fish Head Cake"
The average per capita is around 60
The portions of Northeastern food are huge, even though I don’t like fish.
But the sauce is really delicious and paired with freshly baked pancakes
One word absolutely
I didn’t go out in the afternoon. It was really hot.
Wait until evening and take a taxi to Color TV Tower Night Market
Named after it is located at the foot of Liaoning Color TV Tower
The entire length is about 800 meters
There are so many people here during holidays
The road, which is less than 2 meters wide, is divided into several streams of people
I just feel like someone is pushing you forward
There are snack carts next to each other on both sides.
There are also some shooting and hooping game booths in the middle.
The types of things sold are relatively repetitive.
Northeastern specialties include cabbage rice, stir-fried rice dumplings, grilled fried noodles, grilled scallops, etc.
It’s just that the night market is too crowded
I can’t relax and walk around slowly
Finally left here in a hurry
I wasn’t full so I found a barbecue restaurant
Finally I can try the chicken rack
I didn’t expect that barbecue restaurants in the Northeast also make spicy hotpot
I’ve never had fried shrimp slippers before
The taste of the dry-mixed chicken rack is not as amazing as expected
There's not much meat either. I'm looking for meat in the bones.
Tastes good, much better than most barbecue restaurants
day 2 Shenyang Forbidden City-Middle Street-Industrial Museum-Xingshun Night Market
Sleep until you wake up naturally and take a taxi to Shenyang Forbidden City
Shenyang Forbidden City is one of the only two remaining royal palace complexes
In its early days, it served as an imperial palace in the early Qing Dynasty.
It has gone through three construction periods: Nurhaci, Huangtaiji and Qianlong.
After the Qing Dynasty moved its capital to Beijing, the Forbidden City in Shenyang became the place where the emperors stayed during their eastern tours
The ticket to the Shenyang Forbidden City is 50 yuan, which is only 10 yuan cheaper than the Forbidden City in Beijing
But the area is smaller than that in Beijing by more than 600,000 square meters
According to the building layout and construction sequence
It can be divided into three roads: east, middle and west.
Heading north from the central axis, you pass through Chongzheng Hall, Phoenix Tower, and Qingning Palace.
It is mainly the place where the emperor handles government affairs and where the concubines live.
Going east are the Dazheng Palace and the Ten King Pavilions built during the Nurhaci period
Dazheng Hall is an octagonal hall used for holding grand ceremonies.
It was in this palace that Shunzhi ascended the throne.
The temple has not been restored and has been coated with a layer of gray by history.
But it is not difficult to see the majesty of the royal family
In the south pavilion, the Eight Banners of the Qing Dynasty were each assigned a pavilion to work
But some parts are currently under repair
Open display of Qing Dynasty weapons, cultural relics, etc.
Going west was built during the Qianlong period
There are theater stages, imperial gardens, Wensu Pavilion, etc.
Wensu Pavilion is a copy of Tianyi Pavilion in Ningbo
It mainly stores Sikuquanshu and other books.
The blue bricks and green tiles are very different from other palaces dominated by red and gold.
To the north of the Shenyang Forbidden City is next to Middle Street
Zhongjie is 1,500 meters long and has a history of nearly 400 years.
It is China’s first commercial pedestrian street
It is also the longest commercial pedestrian street in mainland China.
There are copper market, leather market, book market, bird market, etc.
Lunch was eaten at the Northeast Restaurant in Plaza 66
Stir-fried clams with bok choy are refreshing and refreshing
The Guobao Pork is a big portion, sweet and sour.
The flavored eggplant still has the same familiar taste, crispy, sweet and sour
Northeastern cuisine is truly delicious and affordable
Shenyang is China’s largest industrial center city
It once left a mark in the history of industry
So I specially arranged a trip to check in at Industrial Museum
The Industrial Museum is located in Tiexi District
Tiexi District has a long industrial history
It has experienced different historical periods of Japanese colonial industry, Kuomintang industry and New China industry.
Tiexi once produced the first national emblem of New China
Also known as the eldest son of industry in the Republic
The museum looks quite industrial
The general history of industry is taught on the first floor. It takes an hour to study it in detail.
The museum closes at four o'clock. I didn't get the time right
I walked around the museum in a hurry.
The Industrial History Museum is no different from an ordinary museum
But the Tiexi Pavilion at the back is very shocking.
Entering the museum, the museum transformed from an old factory workshop is eye-catching.
It’s like stepping into that bustling labor era
But I’m not particularly knowledgeable about those parts machines.
This is a purely casual visit.
Industry fans highly recommend this holy place to check in
Take a taxi to the foot bath shop
Shenyang deserves to be a leisure city
The proportion of food and entertainment stores is still very high
And the service and price-performance ratio are very good
I’m really tired after walking all day
After resting, ride a small battery to the night market
Shared electric vehicles in Shenyang are developing well
Compared to the heat of the day, the evening seems friendlier
Traveling through this city with the evening breeze
The night market I went to in the evening was Xingshun Night Market
It’s longer and bigger than the Caita Night Market we went to yesterday.
With more than 2,000 stalls, it is the largest night market in the country.
Open every night from 5:30
Neon flashing
The shouts and the aroma of food wafting from the stalls
Decorated this night
This night market is divided into cold drink area, snack area, and entertainment area
The night market also thoughtfully prepared free seats for everyone to eat.
Although the snacks are similar
Doesn’t affect adding some fun to the journey
Besides, an average person of thirty or forty can eat enough
What better place to go than at the night market
day 3 Beiling Park-Qing Zhao Mausoleum-Zhang Clan's Mansion-Toutiao Hutong-Beijing
Sleep until you wake up naturally and go to Shenyang Station to store your luggage first.
Take the subway to Beiling Park
I found a Chaoshan porridge restaurant for lunch
Tickets for Beiling Park are 5 yuan
Similar to most tourist parks
The greening of the park is very good
Very suitable for family fun
The park is not my final destination
Mainly to visit the Qing Zhaoling Mausoleum - the tomb of Huang Taiji and the Queen
Qing Zhaoling requires an additional admission fee of 40
If you need to see the cultural relics on display, you need to pay another 20
It feels like a ring within a ring within a ring
Zhaoling follows the principle of sleeping in the front and sleeping in the back and is divided into three parts: front, middle and back
It is still built symmetrically around the central axis
Walk across the stone bridge and arrive at the stone archway
From the archway to the main red gate is the first part
There are stone statues of animals on both sides, as if they are guarding the tomb.
After passing the Zhenghong Gate, you will arrive at Longsi Gate
From here you can go up to the tower
There are turrets on all sides, so you can clearly see everything in Zhaoling.
Fangcheng is the main building of Zhaoling
The main hall, Longen Hall, resides in it
It is a place to worship the owner of the tomb
Past Minglou is Baocheng
The top is 32 meters in diameter and 8 meters high.
Buried below are Huang Taiji and Queen Borzigit
There is an elm tree planted in the center of the top of the treasure
The entire Zhaoling Mausoleum is not big and it only takes half an hour to complete the walk.
There are not many tourists and it is much deserted compared to the park
It’s hard to imagine how much coldness the tomb-keepers kept.
Leaving Beiling Park and arriving at Zhang Clan’s Mansion
The Zhang Family Mansion is the official residence and private residence of Zhang Zuolin and Zhang Xueliang.
I have only read the story of the Xi'an Incident in history textbooks before
I got to know them better by visiting the handsome manor
Tickets are not expensive. The full ticket price of RMB 56 also includes tickets to Zhao Yidi’s former residence and the Financial Museum.
Zhang's Commandery was built in 1914
Zhang Zuolin's Mansion as the King of Northeast China
It cannot be said that it is generosity
The whole is divided into three hospitals: East, Central and West
The middle courtyard is a typical Chinese courtyard style
It is a courtyard with three entrances
It absorbed the architectural features of the Qing Dynasty palaces in Fengtian City
Very Jiangnan atmosphere
Zhang Zuolin married 6 wives in his life
The eldest wife gave birth to her eldest son Zhang Xueliang
Later, he died in the Huanggutun explosion in 1928.
The east courtyard consists of large and small brothels and Shuaifu Garden.
The garden is equipped with rockeries, rain paths, pavilions, water ponds, lotus ponds and tunnels.
The brothel was built by Zhang Zuolin for his favorite fifth wife
It is also the place where he died
Currently only one floor is open
The overall style is Western style
Decorated with a large number of wood carvings and brick carvings
extremely sophisticated
Daqinglou is the landmark building of Shuaifu
The imitation Roman architecture is named after its use of blue bricks
Integrating office and residence
An important place that experienced the change of flag in Northeast China and the execution of Yang Chang and Yang Chang
From the interior furnishings, we can see the great financial power of the two people.
The west courtyard is the red building complex
Built after Zhang Xueliang came to power
Therefore, it is also called the Young Marshal’s Mansion
The building adopts Nordic classicism style
With a red and white exterior wall
Going out from the east courtyard is the former residence of Miss Zhao Si
Zhang Xueliang had three wives in his life
The first wife was married by the order of her parents.
Later, he went to the United States for medical treatment and the two never saw each other again.
Miss Zhao Si is Zhao Yidi
Accompanying the general the longest
It can be said that we share joys and sorrows
The original wife expressed her sincere gratitude to Zhao Yidi at that time
Purchased this building that combines Chinese and Western styles on the east side of Shuai Mansion
The first floor is a banquet hall, mainly used for making friends and socializing.
The second floor is the living room
After exiting Miss Zhao Si's building, there is Bianye Bank
Now also called the Financial Museum
Bianye Bank is the private bank of Zhang and his sons.
It is now open to tourists as a museum
After visiting Zhang’s handsome mansion, we returned to Zhongjie
Pedestrians on the middle street are busy
Toutiao Hutong is a criss-crossing snack street
The architectural style is rather primitive
Originally a silk trading market
In order to promote tourism development
Now transformed into a food court
But it’s not as impressive as the night market I went to two nights ago.
The three-day trip to Shenyang also ended with delicious food
As a once glorious industrial city
I hope Shenyang will develop better
