On the first day of my trip to Yunnan, I watched the sunrise at the airport and went to Cuihu Park alone, but I didn’t see the legendary seagulls.

We boarded the plane at 6:30. The sky was still slightly bright and the sky was blue. Chengdu must have good weather with blue sky and white clouds today.
Before taking off, the sky turned red, and the fiery morning glow was so beautiful.
The old proverb goes, "If you don't go out before the morning glow, the sunset will travel thousands of miles." However, I watched the most beautiful sunrise in the city at the airport.

Before sunrise, the east was ablaze, and then the red sun emerged little by little. From the egg yolk without light to the moment of radiance, everything around me came to life. It was so beautiful.
Overlooking the Global Center
As the plane was ascending, within ten minutes or so, we saw the Global Center, which looked like a square box and seemed small even from a distance.
Above the sky, the color palette of the world falls.
The sunrise in mid-air is more beautiful than on the ground. The various colors are harmoniously matched together. The color palette in the sky falls on the world and illuminates all things.
Looking at the sea of clouds above the clouds, I really want to roll up there.
The best thing about flying is that you can see the sea of clouds. At a glance, there is nothing but blue sky and white clouds that can calm your heart. The clouds looked soft and soft, as if they were rolling up twice.
One and a half hours, from blue sky and white clouds to gray Kunming.
Arriving in Kunming at about 8:30, what I saw was not blue sky and white clouds, but gray weather. It's still raining at the airport, 15 degrees Celsius, a little cold.
One hour wait at the airport
This time I was traveling with a group. As soon as I landed, the girl who picked me up called me and said I had to call the hotel at No. 4 at Exit A. As a result, when I arrived, her phone couldn't be reached (she said there was no signal in the parking lot), and she ended up waiting at the airport for almost an hour before leaving for the hotel.
Today is the first day to pick up from the airport and there is no itinerary. We arrived early, took a rest, and decided to go to Green Lake for a walk and see the seagulls. We also made an appointment to have a barbecue in the evening.
Are there any seagulls in Green Lake Park?
Green Lake, a relaxing park, a choir of senior citizens, singing old songs one after another with musical instruments, listening to "Horse Racing on the Mountain..."
I originally wanted to see seagulls, but there were none. There is a large lotus pond, the flowers have fallen away, only the lotus leaves and lotus pods are left, and the painter is working on it.
Occasionally, you can see a remnant lotus, just like in an artist's painting, and you can still see a little pink life among the withering of all things.
The water in Green Lake is like a mirror, making it a great place to take photos of reflections.
In fact, you can see that what makes a good reflection is not how clear the water is, but just the opposite.
There are many people dancing in the park. Some are wearing ethnic costumes, dancing local ethnic dances in circles, and there are also aunties wearing cheongsams and catwalks. The most people here are watching.
Niujiezhuang BBQ
We saw Niujiezhuang BBQ recommended in the "China Tourism Atlas", so we came. Niujiezhuang BBQ Town felt quite desolate. There were not many barbecue restaurants, so we chose the one with the most family members. The BBQ eggplant was really disappointing. It’s delicious, and I’ll just do the rest.
After the barbecue, we went back to the hotel to wash up and sleep. This is how we spent our first day in Kunming.
The next day we went to Jiuxiang (click here to enter Jiuxiang Tour) and tasted the special hand-picked rice, but we were not full.
