formed "Jiangnan Xiaojiuzhai"
due to inconvenient transportation
Xiaoxikeng still maintains its simple folk customs

|| How to get to Xiaoxikeng:
① By boat: Hanshan Lake Resort goes to and from Xiaoxikeng. There are two boats entering and leaving Xiaoxikeng Village every day. The time to enter the village is 9:30 am and the time to leave the village is 2:00 pm.
②Self-driving: Starting from Hou'an Village, there are about 20 kilometers of mountain roads. The mountain roads are relatively narrow and winding. When driving by yourself, you must drive at a low speed and pay attention to safety. (The yellow road section in the picture below can be driven, but it is not shown on the map)

② There is only one small shop in Xiaoxikeng with "小店" written on the outside wall. It is not sure whether it is open every day. Therefore, it is recommended to bring your own dry food and drinking water.
③ You can wander around Xiaoxikeng Village. If you play in the water in the stream, you must wear a life jacket and other similar equipment. You need to be cautious when playing in the wild.
④ If you want to play SUP or kayak, the round trip from the pier to the nearest hill is about 5-6 kilometers. The scenery is beautiful and it feels like a paradise.
·Houan Village·
|| Houan Village:
①After years of operation and construction, the development of farmhouses and B&Bs is in full swing. It is now a comprehensive farmhouse leisure resort integrating rafting, mountain climbing, fishing, sightseeing, picking, catering and accommodation.

②This is also a good place to hang out with your kids. A pack of fish food for one yuan can kill a lot of time.

③ Houan Village has a very developed homestay industry. It can be said that the entire village is full of people. Stay at a farmhouse. Prices range from 120 a night to hundreds or thousands, there is always one that suits you. There are nearly 10 buses from Shanghai to Hou'an parked in the village, and buses of middle-aged and elderly people come here for vacation. This time we stayed at "Moye Boutique Inn", the boss played the flute and practiced Tai Chi from time to time, and the boss's wife was hospitable and washed some fruits and put them in the living room, chatting with everyone.

② You can enjoy flowers in Hou'an Village in four seasons: plum blossoms bloom in the twelfth lunar month (Guoqing Temple), peach blossoms in March (Houtan Taohuawu), rape flowers in April (at the entrance of Guoqing Temple), and azaleas in May (the main peak of Tiantai Mountain - Huading Scenic Area) , March to MayPear blossoms (around Tanling Village and Huangjiatang Village), July and August lotus flowers (next to Lingxia Village, Tiantai Xishan), June verbena in full bloom (Hanshan Lake), October Gesang flowers ( Zining Mountain). (I heard this from chatting with the locals in the creek, and saw the lotus flowers in person)

③ Should I go to Xianju to eat bayberry in June? You can also eat bayberry in Hou'an Village. The price/performance ratio is much higher than the sky-high price of bayberry in Xianju. At night, we wandered around Hou'an Village, and the honest farmer uncle sold it for 8 yuan per catty.
Hou'an is not only a good place to enjoy flowers, but also has a lot of fruits to eat: Eat bayberry in June. Eat peaches and watermelons in July and August. Eat persimmons in October.
