In addition to participating in the Hong Kong 100-kilometer cross-country run, ordinary tourists and hiking enthusiasts can choose a few sections to complete according to their own physical strength. You can arrange a day trip, or you can choose to reload and camp on the beach overnight. Langke Bay faces due east and is an excellent place to watch the sunrise.

The MacLehose Trail is a relatively mature hiking route. There are direct buses from the starting point of the first section, the end of the second section (the starting point of the third section), and the end of the third section. Local residents also went hiking, camping and barbecued with their families.
▼Starting point of MacLehose Trail
Xiaoxi chose the first three sections of the MacLehose Trail, which totaled 34 kilometers and took 12 hours. On the last day of 2017, when we say goodbye to the old year and welcome the new year, we started hiking at 7 a.m. and continued until 7 p.m. to complete the first three sections of the hike.

·Accommodation·
|| Accommodation in Saigon: Xiaoxi searched all major booking websites, but could not find a hotel in Saigon. So I could only book a B&B along Route 92 on airbnb. Since Xiaoxi is traveling during the New Year's Day holiday, B&Bs are much more crowded than usual. We booked a B&B in Ho Chung Village. There is a minibus in front of the B&B that goes directly to Sai Kung Main Station, which takes 15 minutes one way. Then transfer to a minibus at Sai Kung Terminus to go to the starting point of the MacLehose Trail.

·About eating·
|| Saigon Seafood Food Stalls: Seafood Street is not difficult to find. You can find it on Dianping.com, Baidu & Google Maps. Take any public transportation to Saigon Main Station and walk to Seafood Street for 5 minutes.

·If you go to Macau from Hong Kong·
|| From Hong Kong to Macau: We chose to take a jet boat to Macau. Go to "Tsim Sha Tsui China Ferry Terminal" to buy tickets and take the ferry. Address: China Hong Kong City, 33 Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong (Departure Hall: 1st Floor / Pick-up Hall: 2nd Floor). It's not too far to get off at the MTR "Kowloon Station", "Austin Station" or "Jordan Station" and walk to China Hong Kong City.
|| Tips for wandering in Macau: Macau is divided into two islands, the north and the south. The north island is the old city, with Ruins of St. Paul's, souvenir street, snacks all over the street, huge crowds of people, and very lively. There are super luxury hotels all over the South Island, and it is indeed the only place where gambling is legal in the country. We stayed one night in the North Island and one night in the South Island. In most places in Macau, consumption is based on Macau Pataca: Hong Kong Dollar: RMB = 1:1:1. The actual consumption is Macau Pataca: Hong Kong Dollar: RMB = 1:0.97:0.78. (For example: McDonald's in Macau, when you spend money in RMB, you get change in Macau pataca... It's just a grab...) It is recommended to exchange more Hong Kong dollars or Macau patacas appropriately.
