My usual process for writing a travel note is to first organize the photos, then organize the trajectory, then arrange the photos around the day's itinerary, prepare text, and finally form a graphic and textual content.
But today I want to write a text first, and then slowly organize the photos.
Why rush to write? Because I really can’t help but complain about the inn last night.
If you search for this inn on Ctrip, you will see tempting photos: large rooms, clean sheets, atmospheric decoration, and delicious food. In addition, you can also enjoy the holy lake up close. The hotel official even provided photos of the beautiful Milky Way Arch Bridge. No matter what, this is irresistible.
Ah, everything is so perfect!
I booked the room one day in advance (when I gave up Mount Everest and revised my itinerary on the roadside in Dingri County), the lake view oxygen room cost about 600 yuan a night. On that day, the house price had risen to 1,100 yuan a night.
Not to mention the price, if it is really like the official photos of the hotel, the price is acceptable.
However, the actual situation is that in the most expensive oxygen room with lake view on the second floor, the oxygen concentrators in both rooms are not working, and it took a long time to repair them. There is no hot water in the room, and it took a long time to ask before they were turned on. Hot water; the bathroom was smelly, so the store covered the floor drain with a plastic bag filled with water...
The rooms on the 2nd floor are still good, but the rooms on the 1st floor are even worse: there is no hot water, even if I scream for it; there are no disposable slippers, only the dirty plastic slippers that look like they have old holes; the bed and The quilt was damp... The most unacceptable thing was that the whole room stunk, and the bathroom was even more pungent and unbearable.
We endured it all night and checked out of the room after breakfast the next day. I couldn't wait to leave a negative review for it.
This is the second worst hotel I have stayed in during this trip, after Baihada Business Hotel in Qumalai County. For a hotel like this, how do you have the confidence and courage to charge someone 1,100 yuan? ! This is simply unreasonable!
Thinking about it now still gives me lingering fear.
Forget it, let’s not recall it, let’s continue talking about our itinerary.
After quickly escaping from the hotel in the morning, we started today’s journey around Yamdrok Yongtso.
To sum up today in one sentence, it is: a journey of making mistakes again and again, being chased by heavy rain.
This is our trajectory for the day. We first followed the northwest side of Yamdrok to Langkazi County, and then headed to Puma Yumco. After visiting Puma Yumco, we returned to the south bank of Yamdrok. , and then all the way north along the eastern edge to encircle Yamdrok Yongcuo. The so-called besieging army must be blocked, and the small gap in the north was for her to escape.
Since the hotel is built by the lake, since the hotel charges 600 yuan a night, since the room is only worth 100 yuan, and since the perfect location by the lake is worth 500 yuan, why don’t you just walk from the hotel to the lake and take a look? , it’s like living here in vain. Having settled my accounts thoroughly, I came to the lake in the morning
Looking to the right, under the thick clouds is Ningjin Kangsha Peak. When we came to the lake last year, the weather was pretty good and we could see the sharp snow peaks from a distance.
The hotel is located at the top of the long and narrow lakes on both sides, so you can see far away from both sides. It's just that the weather is bad. If you look to the left, you can't see anything famous.
There is a small village in the mountain col directly ahead, bathing in the rays of sunshine at the moment. How I wish these spots of light could continue to expand
Looking back at the hotel, it’s still deserted. I guess everyone hasn’t gotten up yet.
After leaving the hotel in the morning, we headed towards Langkazi County. The part in red brackets along the way is the classic section for tourists coming from Lhasa to visit Yamdrok Yumcuo
There is a viewpoint somewhere in the red bracket, we were here last year and took a bunch of photos here. Today, we will give you a quick check-in and move forward quickly
Not far from Langkazi County (blue circle), the right rear tire pressure suddenly went off. I was worried that it was a false alarm, so I parked the car on the side of the road, turned off the engine, and then ignited it again after a while. The right rear tire pressure was even lower. It seems that there is really a nail. Fortunately, this is not far from the county seat. I quickly went back to repair the tire.
I did get tricked, but I'm still lucky, thank God.
After the major shareholder, chairman, CEO and chief technology officer of the car repair shop helped me repair the tire, he checked the tire pressures of several tires and synchronized them. I jumped into the car with satisfaction, lit the ignition in great comfort, and then checked the tire pressure, and I went for it #¥@%&*
After a delay of 40 minutes, I finally got it done and moved on. Before entering Tibet, I asked everyone to apply for a border security permit, but it was useless on Mount Everest. Today, I can finally take it out and shake it. At the blue circle, we were finally checked for border security permits
From Provincial Highway 307 to the "Suse Line", keep going along this road to reach Puma Yumco. At present, this section of road seems to have been incorporated into the new National Highway 219.
As soon as we climbed to the top of the mountain, we saw the sign of Puma Yumco, and the blue lake appeared not far away. But this place has been surrounded by a barbed wire fence. Inside the barbed wire fence is a construction site, and several workers are busy at work. Is this a no-go rhythm?
The workers said that the tourist reception center and hotel were being built here. As they spoke, they pointed to the gap in the damaged barbed wire fence next to them and let us in.
"Pu Moyongcuo" is translated into Chinese as "a lake as pure as a girl". From this point of view, it is true. From a distance, the lake surface is blue and calm, and from up close, the lake is crystal clear, which is very attractive. With an altitude of 5,010 meters, Pumo Yumco is the highest freshwater lake in the world.
We can still feel the sunshine on this side of the lake, but it is pouring rain on the other side of the lake, which makes us very panic
Buxiao said, the children like it very much here
It was noon, and I planned to walk along Puma Yumcuo to its east side (the location of the red balloon), where I would find a place to enjoy the lake view while eating, but as soon as I reached the break of the track, I saw heavy rain raging in front of me. I stopped the car quickly. There happened to be a high ground on the right that looked like there was a building on it, so I drove up. It didn't matter that we started, but we accidentally came to the administrative village with the highest altitude in the world - Tuiwa Village (5070 meters above sea level). I'm really sorry. In just one day today, we saw the best of both worlds. Oh yeah!
This Tuiwa village is undergoing extensive construction work and looks a bit messy. But this location is really awesome. If the roadbed hadn't been too soft and I was worried that my uncle would get stuck in his car, I would have really wanted to drive all the way to the edge to overlook this beautiful lake.
Standing in Tuiwa Village and looking east
After leaving Tuiwa Village, we planned to walk back to escape the heavy rain. It was 2:00 in the afternoon and everyone was very hungry, so we cooked a meal by the lake (circled in blue)
Look how good we are at hiding from the rain! It's pouring rain a few kilometers away, but the sun is shining brightly here
The dining environment really couldn't be better.
While waiting for the meal, I also took a few photos.
But as the saying goes, don't be happy too early. No, before everyone finished eating, the heavy rain came after them.
After dinner, we returned along the original road, turned right at the blue circle, and continued our journey around Yangtze Lake.
There are basically no cars or people on this road. It is expected that most tourists will not come here, so this road has become our secret place. Although the weather was not good, we had the entire beautiful scenery of Yanghu Lake and we were still very happy. Not long after we walked up the road, we stopped at the blue circle because the photographers couldn't stand it anymore.
The lake here is quiet and the grass around the lake is lush.
This is an excellent ranch
The cows looked at the holy lake for a while, and for a while they looked at the snow-capped mountains. There was a soft and comfortable carpet under their feet, and tender and juicy grass in their mouths. They felt so comfortable.
I took the photo and continued walking, but just after walking 2 kilometers, my legs couldn't move again. This place is closer to the lake, and there is no low wall (the place just now was a pasture, and there was a low wall blocking us). We parked the car and came to the lake.
Yamdrok Yumcuo is also a freshwater lake, and the water is extremely clear.
The young photographer squatted by the lake and operated as fiercely as a tiger
It's a pity that the clouds are too thick, otherwise the snowy mountain background would be so beautiful
I also care about its three-seven-twenty-one operation.
What a diligent photographer
Photographers not only take pictures, they actually communicate with each other.
The shy photographer himself
After only walking so long, we stopped twice and spent so much time. Thinking that there was still a long way to go, everyone swore that I would not stop, but I just stopped the car after walking 2KM.
Mainly because there is a small island here and there are many birds
Sorry, it's indeed a bit delayed. Let's keep walking. After walking for 10 minutes, I arrived at Rouza Village. I saw that the rapeseed flowers were in bloom in the village, but I couldn’t walk anymore.
Everyone still loves rapeseed flowers and happily got out of the car to take photos.
The Tibetan uncle was probably very confused by their behavior, so he walked over to see what was going on.
During this section of the road, we were far away from Yanghu Lake and kept walking through various primitive and unsophisticated Tibetan villages, enjoying the curious attention of our Tibetan compatriots. Later, I climbed a mountain and looked back. The village and the lake complemented each other perfectly, so I quickly stopped to take pictures (blue circle)
The landform here is very strange. It feels like arriving on the Loess Plateau with crisscrossed ravines.
Continue to drive forward, go down the mountain pass where we just parked, and come to the blue circle, where we can see the round lake in the distance. what to do? Park your car, just 1 minute, 1 minute!
From the map, the lake is not round, but when viewed from the mountainside, it creates an illusion.
Leaving here and moving forward, we started to slowly climb the mountain again. As soon as we reached the top of the mountain, we were suddenly shocked by the sight in front of us. Stop the car quickly!
The dark clouds on the lake in the distance are very shocking.
We climbed up from the road ahead.
Although the weather was not good, I was still impressed by the scene in front of me. Yamdrok Yongtso is still beautiful on a rainy day!
Everyone is standing here clicking the shutter, how can I fall behind?
After staying there for at most 10 minutes, the heavy rain was already chasing us. Heavy raindrops began to fall, and everyone evacuated quickly.
Before getting on the bus, I took a look at the other side of the mountain where we were going. It was also covered by heavy rain.
The rain was getting heavier and heavier, and it still didn't stop after driving for an hour. We could only use our eyes to appreciate the scenery in front of us. At 6:10 pm, we climbed up a small mountain pass and the rain suddenly stopped. We were overjoyed and quickly parked the car. Although there is no extraordinary scenery here, it is still very happy when it does not rain.
Although the scenery is nothing extraordinary, I still want to record it
After resting for a while, we continued down the mountain. After walking for a while, Leo wanted to drain the water, so he had to stop again.
Continuing forward, we came to Gongga Village - a very primitive and simple village.
A group of children stood under the eaves and played happily. We gave them some snacks, and Isa also gave one of her down jackets to the little girl.
After leaving Gongga Village and continuing forward, after a long uphill road, we came to a pass. Looking down from the pass, the scenery was magnificent.
The road is not good but the scenery is good
The old driver stood here for a long time, reluctant to leave.
After a while, Yu came chasing me again. Let's go, no matter how beautiful we are, we still have to hurry.
Not long after we left, Leo suddenly shouted "Tibetan antelope!" I quickly stopped the car, got out of the car with doubts, took my camera, and put the sheep into the viewfinder. In fact, this is not a Tibetan antelope at all, but I can’t tell what it is. It is probably a Tibetan gazelle (the heart-shaped butt seems to be looming)?
Going further and turning the sharp corner, we will bid farewell to Yanghu Lake and go to Gonggar Airport. So, we came to the lake in the circle and planned to have another close contact with Yanghu Lake.
Yamdrok Yongcuo is the habitat of the national second-level protected animal wild duck. As soon as we parked the car, we saw three of them by the lake, so we quickly got out of the car to see them.
beautiful mallard
There is a little sunshine on the east side of the lake, but it is still raining heavily on the west side. I look at it and I am about to chase you again.
As we were about to leave Yanghu, everyone seemed a little reluctant to leave.
After leaving Yanghu Lake, we headed north along the mountain road to Gonggar Airport. It was already almost 8 o'clock in the evening, and we thought we would just keep driving and not take any more pictures. But just after climbing over the mountain by the lake, at the blue circle not far from the pass, we were amazed by the scene in front of us. I was attracted, so I quickly stopped to take pictures.
After crossing the mountain, I saw a ray of sunshine shining on the village on the mountainside in the distance. It was really beautiful, so I quickly stopped and took out my camera. Unfortunately, as soon as I climbed over the guardrail with my camera in hand to take pictures, the sunlight had already shifted. Oh, that’s too much!
This photographer came a little later than me
Beautiful light and shadow are always fleeting, which is really sad. But the scenery here is really not bad, the white clouds floating in the mountains are very cute
Just after walking down the mountain for a while, three antelopes suddenly crossed the road under our noses and ran to the nearby hillside. I quickly parked the car to get my camera, but unfortunately they had already moved a bit away.
It was getting really late, so we decided to seal up the camera and rush to Gonggar Airport in one go.
