Let me talk less and show more pictures in this post!

I went to Gubei Water Town last Saturday. Why is it called Water Town? Because that town is full of water (nonsense). Gubei Water Town is located in the northeastern corner of Beijing, Miyun District, and is known as the "Little Wuzhen in the North". In fact, I had no plans to go here before. The original plan was to visit Shenyang and Harbin last weekend. However, the sudden epidemic broke the original plan. After thinking about it, I happened to see that "Qingqing Travel" also sent relevant push notifications. I plan to go there on Saturday.

The basic itinerary is as follows: get up at 7:00 in the morning, wash up, have breakfast, then simply pack up and arrive at Peking University Dongmen Subway Station to wait for the long-distance bus. It departs on time at 8:30 and is expected to arrive at Gubei Water Town at 10:30; basically During the day, we spent the day eating, drinking and having fun on the street, in the afternoon we climbed the Great Wall, and in the evening we watched the night view, water dance show, and drone show. Finally, we took the bus back to the city at 8:00 p.m., and the day was full.

The two-hour bus ride was very long, but I arrived after almost sleeping for an hour and a half: two hours passed as soon as I closed and opened my eyes (like I was in class). My first feeling after arriving there was: Cold, why is it so cold!

In the city, due to various reasons - car exhaust, heating, greenhouse effect, human body temperature, the warmth of love - there is always a feeling that it is not too cold, but when I arrived in Miyun District, I saw the unmelted snow along the way. , the water surface was thickly frozen, and I felt like I was wearing less clothes, so I put on my hat as soon as I got out of the car! The weather here is quite good, Saturday is a good day, no haze, but the wind is quite strong.

Go through a long corridor and arrive at the entrance of Gubei Water Town (which is a hall). Take your ID card to buy a ticket, and then you can play for a day; the ticket price is 150, and there are no discount tickets. If you want to climb the Great Wall, you can buy one Zhang joint ticket - I bought it separately, first bought the ticket for Gubei Water Town, and then bought the ticket for the Great Wall.

Because the entire water town is distributed in north-south strips, but the entire northbound road is divided into three strips: east, middle, and west, so you can visit in a figure-8 shape without missing most interesting places; you also have a lot of time, so you can Take your time; and since it is the off-season, there are not many tourists, so there is no crowded and noisy feeling - one bad thing is that because there are not many tourists, some shops are not open.

I first visited along the middle road. The road along the way did have the feeling of an ancient alley. I went to the handmade fan workshop and saw the exquisite fan sleeves made by folk craftsmen. Then I went to the dessert shop and the music workshop. There are all kinds of music boxes in the music shop. If it weren’t for the high price and I couldn’t afford it, I would definitely buy one (nonsense literature)!

There are many old stores inside, some of which were built in recent years. There are also staff pushing small carts inside to sell grilled squid, stinky tofu and so on. Although it seems out of place with the surrounding environment, it has a place. It’s not a bad idea to buy some food to fill your stomach! I wandered around for a while and then started walking in another line.

Next I went to a kite shop, a shoe shop and a New Year painting workshop. I felt like I was back in Shandong (Weifang). Kite? Isn’t Weifang the capital of kites? Why are there kites in Beijing too? Oh yes, this is really a Beijing kite; New Year painting? Aren’t the woodblock New Year paintings in Yangjiabu an intangible cultural heritage? Do they also exist in Beijing? There are also. I went in and took a look, and I felt that no matter the style or pattern, it couldn't keep up with ours. After all, we are also the "mandarin capital" that can fly aircraft carriers into the sky!

That shoe store is called "Fit Foot", and it reminded me of a sketch from a few years ago: only the feet know whether the shoes fit well or not; then if I know one and the other don't; I really... I won't go into details, anyway, this shoe store The name of the store is well chosen!

There are some other places that I didn’t take pictures of, so I won’t say more about them; such as the candy store, shadow puppet show, Yuelao Temple, and the sound shop. I also went in and asked if there was a mouth organ, but there was none. The one I want.

Then I took another route. There were many interesting and old shops on this route. The first thing I walked through was the paper-cutting workshop (this is literally my home, Weifang is famous for its paper-cutting). The colorful paper-cuttings inside are quite cute. Then we walked forward and arrived at Yongshun Dyeing House. This is a fabric dyeing shop that still uses the oldest tie-dying technology. It uses raw materials extracted from plants, which are soaked, dip-dyed, and dried to fix the pigments. On the fabric, there are colorful colors. There are many foreigners here, probably because they admire our superb technology!

The last place we went to was a place to drink! It's called Sima Xiaoshao. After walking up the steps, there is a large courtyard with hundreds of wine jars (there must be no wine in them, they are all decorations). There is a room in the yard where wine is sold. I went to ask about it. The price is about 108/three ounces of wine. Depending on the alcohol content and year, the price will fluctuate. For those who love wine, You can buy two bottles to try, but I didn’t buy them anyway, so I don’t know what they are like.

Then, I took a photo with the big wine jar in the yard.

It’s almost noon, I’m hungry!

Because I went out to play by myself and had no friends with me, how to eat lunch became a problem. I walked into a pizza shop and ordered a 12-inch "Meat Eaters Alliance" pizza. After a while, such a huge pizza was served to me. I was thinking how to eat it? In order to go with the meal, I also ordered a dessert and a bottle of Sprite. I finished the dessert and the Sprite, but only half of the pizza was eaten. In line with the principle of not wasting, I packed the remaining half back to the dormitory, which was just in time for dinner. night!

It tastes good, but it’s expensive. My lunch cost nearly 200!

After having enough wine and food, I started planning to climb the Great Wall. It should be noted that the matinee of Simatai Great Wall is open until 4 pm, so if I have plans to climb the Great Wall, I must get there before 4 pm. The Great Wall here is the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty. It is not as steep as Badaling, but it still maintains the majestic style of the Great Wall. You will be shocked after climbing up (legs shaking).

At about two o'clock, I went to the foot of the Great Wall, bought a ticket, checked it, and then started climbing the Great Wall. The Simatai Great Wall has a cableway. If you just want to go up there and have a look, you can buy a cableway ticket for 100 yuan and sit directly on the Great Wall; but I don’t, I have to climb it by myself (I am poor, I have no money) , you only need to buy an adult ticket for 40 to go up.

In fact, before I bought the ticket, I wanted to buy a student ticket, but then I realized that I am now a graduate student and there is no student ticket left (I can’t get enough, I am angry).

It takes about two hours to climb up and down the Great Wall. I climbed and climbed along the way. I only stopped to take photos when I reached a resting place at a certain level. Some people say: If you don’t reach the Great Wall, you are not a true man. It seems that he is now a hero and can sing hero songs in an upright manner! Next, take a look at the photos I took of the Great Wall!

After coming down from the Great Wall, it was almost night; it was about four o'clock when we came down, it was not dark yet, but I was already very tired. I found a teahouse in Riyue Island Square, ordered a cup of the cheapest milk tea, and sat there reading a book.

Although we go out to play, we can’t let go of our study tasks! There are still two tutor classes next week, and I haven’t finished reading the books I should read! Although Brother Chang is a nice person, he can’t paddle!

After sitting there until after 6 o'clock in the evening, I no longer had the energy to watch the water dance show; the drone show was also canceled due to weather reasons (strong winds), so I may not have much chance to watch it in the future.

When it gets dark, it’s a good time to watch the night view!

I climbed to the top of the church area, found a cafe near the top, and sat on their balcony (without ordering anything). It was an excellent place to view the scenery! From here you can see the Yuantong Tower opposite (oh yes, I forgot to go), the night view of the entire Gubei Water Town, and the Great Wall in the distance!

Because Christmas is coming soon, the entire Gubei Water Town has now been transformed into a Christmas-themed show, with Santa Claus and Christmas trees everywhere, and little elk everywhere - I love little deer!

Time flies so fast and it’s almost the end of the year! I wish everyone all the best, me and her too! ! !
