two years ago

I heard there is a place called

Gannan Prefecture🌟

So two years later I came

This is also the fourth Tibetan area I have visited

After returning from Aba, Ganzi and Diqing in winter

I started planning my summer trip

This time I decided to extend the time

A two-month trip

✨One month of traveling together✨

✨One month of traveling alone (teaching or volunteering)✨

In mid-March I finished all the guides

Then there is the expectation day after day🥳

In order to miss the peak season of summer

We did not take the first CET-6 exam

After finishing the last exam of my sophomore year, I set off.

At that time, the price of a green sleeper berth was almost the same as an air ticket.

But in order to fit in with the plan, I only stayed in Lanzhou for half a day.

We chose Green Skin as our first stop.

On the Green Skin, we struck up a conversation with a senior from Tongji

Play cards together and chat about things from north to south

Time seems to fly by all of a sudden ✨

Arrive in Lanzhou Let’s go for a walk by the Yellow River

Lanzhou gives me a very comfortable feeling🔅

The pace of life is not too fast and very leisurely☺️

I was thinking 🧐

If you have the opportunity in the future, you can come here to retire.

Walked a long way

I found that there seemed to be no place to visit.

So I sat by the Yellow River and drank three cups of tea.

Empty yourself! ! 😁

Shopping around and eating in the evening

The four of us gathered at the B&B

After eating barbecue, I drank water instead of wine.

Cheers and get ready to go! 💪🏿

🚌First stop🚌

Gannan Prefecture—Cooperation (2800M)

On the day of cooperation, the weather was very weird

🌧It was sunny and rainy about seven or eight times🌦

Light rain, moderate rain, heavy rain, sun or rain

📍Miarepa Pavilion

An old man carving Mani stones outside the Buddhist pavilion

When I went to Tibetan areas before, I always looked at the mountains and waters.

This is my first time seriously entering a Tibetan Buddhist temple.

There is no guide, just a little bit of self-study before we set off.

I walked around the Buddhist pavilion without lights for more than an hour.

After coming out of the Buddhist pavilion, I saw two babies feeding pigeons.

They are both afraid of pigeons and want to feed them

🥰Looks very cute😇

After dinner we started walking again👣

I saw a big hillside behind me, so I walked over there.

After more than half an hour, we walked up the hillside

You can see the night view of the city on the hillside. It’s very beautiful.

🚌Second stop🚌

Diebu County-Zhagana (average altitude 2900M)

The weather in Zhagana is also weird

But luckily the weather cleared up when we were halfway through (big!) sunny☀️

At that time, we also went to Fairy Lake

Fairy Lake... To put it bluntly, it's just a small pond, right?

I’ve seen photos of Zhagana when she was particularly beautiful.

So I'm a little disappointed this time

But that's probably because I came a little early.

Zha Na is worth coming📌

So leave the regrets to make up for next time

Encountered a wedding team on Zhagana

As I walked closer, I learned that this was the first time the groom saw his wife.

I didn't know until later

In Tibetan areas, many people's marriages are not of their own choice.

This suddenly reminded me of the two elder brothers I met in Xinduqiao

They came from the countryside and took their children home to celebrate the New Year.

But their wives didn't come with them

I dare not speculate on the reasons

But maybe they are the same😶

🚌The third stop🚌

Luqu County-Langmusi (3300M)

Sudden heavy rain at the junction of Gamcheon and Sichuan

We couldn’t find a car in Zhagana

It took two cars to arrive at Langmusi

In the second car, there are only two seats: the driver's seat and the passenger's seat.

The three of us sat on the ground. This car was really bumpy! 🤪

📍Langmusi

The old man who actively asked to be on camera

There are two temples in Langmusi. We only went to Gerdi Temple.

"Consciously buy tickets" - we wake up the little monk who fell asleep at the ticket gate

It was there that I first saw Tibetan people kowtow at a close distance.

I don’t quite understand Tibetan people’s beliefs

I was shocked the moment I saw him kowtow

The next day when I got up in the morning, it was still raining outside the window.

Xinxin and La Ge went up the day before and caught up on their sleep at the youth hostel.

Brother Lin and I braved the rain and went to Namor Grand Canyon again

I don’t know why, but I was still afraid that wild beasts would appear along the way.

Now that I think about it, it’s a bit funny🧐

Lvpeng is the earliest backpacker youth hostel in Langmusi

So I chose it when I was choosing a place to live.

The boss Dabai is a Tibetan who speaks Mandarin very well.

Tall, thin, handsome, and a nice person

He helped us get a ride to Xiahe

He also drove us to the post office to buy postcards.

If I come to Langmusi again next time, I will definitely choose here again

🚌The fourth stop🚌

Xiahe County (2900M)

📍Labrang Monastery

Tibetan Buddhist temples one after another

Here I have a much deeper understanding of Tibetan Buddhism

Followed the local Tibetans and walked around on the prayer wheel path

Later I was attracted by the sound

I watched the Vajra Dance for more than an hour outside in the cold wind.

I want to see it again when I come back, but it’s a pity that I can’t see it since the peak season.

📍Ladrang Tibetan Inn💕

At the inn, I was immediately attracted by the inn convention sign.

"The people here must be interesting, right?"

A full photo wall

"Is the innkeeper a traveler? Or a photographer?"

Later I found out that the owner was a sports car driver in front of the inn.

"This hand-drawn map is so cool. The boss actually has this skill?"

"What do these lines of different colors mean?"

"Why is there no southern Sichuan-Tibet line?"

The hand-drawn map was drawn by Cai Rang’s Lanzhou friend.

There is no Southern Sichuan-Tibet Line because it has not been completed yet.

As for the lines of different colors, they are said to be different national highways, but I don’t understand them.

The day I came to Ladrang

Only after catching up did his Hong Kong friend come back with him

It just so happened that I didn’t come during the peak season.

Almost all my friends in the store are in Xiahe

So they started drinking and laughing

We are fortunate to be invited by them

During the two days in Ladrang, I drank a lot of wine

It was the first time I saw Tibetan fist-fighting and listened to Tibetan songs.

This time when I came to Xiahe, I didn’t go to Ganga or Dazong Lake.

I just went to Labrang Monastery and walked around the streets for a long time.

Because the shopkeeper and his friends make me want to come again

❣️If you go to Xiahe, I recommend you to stay here❣️

Feel Tibetan Humanity

Also enjoy the beautiful scenery of Tibetan area

Gannan I will come again next time!
