In order to catch the fishing festival on Naozhou Island early, I got up at 5:45 on Sunday morning. I’ve seen Zhanjiang at around five o’clock in the morning~Of course it’s for fun~

It was still not bright yet, so I packed my luggage, washed up, and then coaxed my daughter to get up. She was very cooperative and quickly packed up and checked out and went to the roadside to wait for the bus. After an hour and 15 minutes' drive, we arrived at the southeast pier. There were many white datura flowers blooming beside the pier.

Sitting on the boat, the boat was about to leave, and I realized that I had found the wrong pier. In addition to the on-board code header , there was also a speedboat pier dedicated to ferrying people, 20 Every minute. However, by the time I figured out this problem, it was already too late, so I took this big ferry across the sea.

This huge ferry was the first thing I saw. This ferry can carry 8-10 vehicles at a time. Because of the fishing season and because it is banana harvest season, this ferry is almost non-stop transporting vehicles to and from Naozhou Island.

When I arrived at Naozhou Island, my friend took me to have breakfast, and then sent me to the best viewing location of Bihai International Hotel . The seaside room of this hotel faces the stage of the sea opening ceremony and the pier. The best viewing position is through the large glass window. However, I still felt that it was not direct enough, so I went to the rooftop to take time-lapse photography under the bright sun.

At around 11 o'clock, the grand opening ceremony began. At the beginning, each branch venue in Zhanjiang performed their own performances, and I hardly paid much attention. Soon, after the program ended, there was a ceremony for the fishing boats to go out to sea.

Hundreds of fishing boats were docked at the docks and shelters. After the opening ceremony officially began, the fishing boats went out to sea in the order of docking and crossed the sea in front of the ceremony stage. When each fishing boat goes out to sea, it will set off a string of firecrackers, and then slowly sail across the sea in front of the pier to the sea where they are going to fish.

The whole process lasted for almost an hour. More than 500 fishing boats went out to sea during this period, and hundreds of fishermen competed for the water. It was a very spectacular and grand ceremony that was worth seeing. This is the most important time of the year for the fishermen on the island. They pray for the return of fish and shrimps with full warehouses, and for calm seas and peace.

Those who fish in the nearby sea will be faster and will come back in the evening or night; those who fish far away will be slower, returning on the second or third day; and even those who fish further to the distant sea will only come back after two or three months.

We had lunch at Xu's family for lunch, and the table was full of seafood. Originally, I felt like I had been injured from eating seafood in the past few days, and I was thinking hey. However, when I saw the pickled fish made with dragontail fish and the dry-pot fat intestines, well, I think I can eat some more~~

I saw a pack of cut tobacco on the dining table, and when I looked again, I saw a hookah pipe on another table. Sure enough, what my friend said was right, hookah smoking is quite common in this place.

After dinner, check into Dexi Business Hotel in town. Downstairs is the only large supermarket on the island, Dexi Mall, which is very convenient. When I entered the room, I saw that it turned out to be a Superman-themed room. Although my daughter was not that keen on this theme, she was impressed by the room and expressed her happiness when she entered the room.

I remember that when I first came here four years ago, the island looked like a fishing village. Now it is full of hotels and there is also a relatively large supermarket. The hotel I stayed in also has a parent-child theme. It seems to be popular in China. It is completely feasible to engage in internal circulation for domestic demand ~

After a good sleep, at around five o'clock, the sun was no longer strong. I brought a hat and sun protection clothing and went out. I felt like I was following the Romans.

We were going to go fishing. We took a small boat out from the pier. My friend also brought a lot of food. However, I was not so lucky. I saw the oyster breeding fence between Naozhou Island and Southeast Pier, and then I tried to fish. Two fish came up and I started to get seasick. I feel nauseous and want to vomit at the top, and I feel like having a bowel movement down below. It's simply wonderful. So we returned quickly.

In fact, the fish catch was pretty good. In less than half an hour, we caught more than 20 fish. Among them was a small jumping fish, which my daughter took to the beach and released. As for the others, of course they were packed into the refrigerator and frozen.

We continued with the seafood feast for dinner. Crabs, small blue dragons, and conches were all the best seafood here. However, my daughter and I were already exhausted. We barely finished the small blue dragon. She rushed to the food street by the sea and ordered two cups of fried ice, one cup of mango and jackfruit in her left hand and one cup of watermelon in her right hand. She was so satisfied. Then she ate egg rolls and returned to the room contentedly.

Early the next morning, after getting up, we went to Pier and looked at the seafood all over the street, as well as very beautiful shells, small sharks, and sting rays. We really bought everything. Eat.

As far as seafood in Guangdong is concerned, the quality in Zhanjiang is the best. It is said that in Zhanjiang, the seafood on Naozhou Island is the best, so many people in Zhanjiang urban area come here to buy seafood. I was very worried about how to deal with the unsold seafood on the pier. The locals told me that such a small amount of seafood could easily be sold out, and the seafood on the island was more expensive than Xiashan, so there was no need to worry about sales.

At my sincere request, our breakfast was very simple, just one bowl of beef noodles per person, which was quite delicious.

After breakfast, our friend took us to Naozhou Island Lighthouse .

Naozhou Island Lighthouse is one of the three most famous lighthouses in the world, along with London and the Cape of Good Hope Lighthouse. It is also one of the only two crystal-ground mirror lighthouses in the world. The area near the lighthouse is now a military management area. In the past, you could climb the tower for a lookout, but now it has been closed due to the epidemic. The driver just let us take a photo under the lighthouse.

This colonial relic actually tells the history of the island.

The history of Naozhou Island can be traced back to earlier times.

Du Niang told me that Naozhou Island was called Naozhou Island in ancient times. It was an island formed by the eruption of a submarine volcano about 200,000 to 500,000 years ago. It is also the largest volcanic island in China. It is located about 40 kilometers southeast of Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, with Donghai Island to the north, Leizhou Bay to the west, the South China Sea to the southeast, and the Pacific Ocean to the depth, with a total area of about 56 square kilometers.

The island also has the ruins of Song Huangcheng, Xianglong Academy, Bajiaojing, Song Huang Monument, Song Huang Pavilion, Song Huang Village, Chima Village, Dou Zhenbiao’s tomb and "Gong Baofang", etc. One of the two young emperors of the Southern Song Dynasty died and was buried. Yu Naozhou; one ascended the throne and established the capital of Naozhou. After the defeat in the Yashan naval battle, Lu Xiufu jumped into the sea with Zhao Bing on his back. Naozhou Island witnessed the fall of the Southern Song Dynasty and recorded the last chapter of the transition between the Song and Yuan dynasties in Chinese history.

To be honest, this island is truly extraordinary.

Then we went to Turtle City . There are twenty or thirty turtles here. The captive turtles are used to eating winter melons. One turtle was taken out for treatment because its tail was injured, and we happened to bump into it. I touched its head, shell, and legs. There are also horseshoe crabs, baby turtles, snails, lobsters, small sharks, etc. in the breeding area, as well as a dumb macaw.

The reef beaches outside Turtle City are all volcanic rocks, and you can see very obvious "fairy footprints", lava flow layers, etc. It was a little windy and the waves were very big. The waves smashed on the rocks and there were large and small puddles between the rocks. My daughter caught a small crab here and started her journey of catching crabs.

Then we went to a typical area of volcanic lava landforms and took another photo where we took the last photo, with columnar joints in the background. There are many people coming here, and there are small stairs here, unlike the last time I came here, it was all dirt roads.

However, other than that, the roadside is full of seaweed and cacti, common seaside plants. The black reefs and columnar joints after the volcanic eruption are almost unchanged from four years ago.

Then, we went to have lunch. This time the place was Liuzhu Gonghairen Yujiale in Liuluo Village, right in front of a large tidal flat.

At twelve o'clock at noon, the tide was still very high. By the time we left after lunch at about three o'clock, it was the time for the tide to recede. In just three hours, the tide retreated about a hundred meters, and the oyster-rearing fence in the distance was completely exposed.

This fisherman's house is a place for locals to have fun. Some people are barbecuing and singing. It's a lively mess.

What I ate today was roasted chicken and small pineapple (custard apple), which is a delicious local fruit. In the past, I often ate it before it was ripe and found it not very tasty. Only this time did I realize how sweet this thing is when it is ripe.

After dinner, we went to the barbecue area and lay on the hammocks doing nothing. The vacation life on the island is so happy, what should I do if I don’t want to go back to work? ~~~
