At three or four o'clock in the afternoon, we returned to the town, and our friends took us to catch the sea. It turned out to be near the First Line Seaview Farmhouse we just went to at noon.

Thanks to the guidance of local people, I finally saw the mangrove trees and their seeds up close (when I passed by before, I didn’t know this was a mangrove).

There are mangrove seeds everywhere on the beach, and most of them have sprouted. Crabs are crawling everywhere on the ground. When people pass by suddenly, they can see the crabs crawling farther away like a large army, and their movements are extremely uniform. The locals told me that mangroves grow very slowly and can reach the height of a person in more than ten years. The seeds sprouting now may take many years to become a forest.

Several families from Qingyuan who came with us had not arrived yet, so Brother Chen took my daughter and me to dig crabs. There were no big crabs on the beach at First Line Seaview Farmhouse, so Brother Chen took us on a motorcycle to another beach.

Catching crabs is a laborious job. The sunset in summer is very strong. Under the setting sun, you have to dig a hole about one meter deep in the sand with a stainless steel shovel to get out the crabs that have burrowed in the sand. After a while, Brother Chen was sweating profusely, and we were also sweating while watching.

This species is called Chinese crab, and the pattern on the crab's back is like a cartoon smiling face.

I had never thought about it deeply before, but this time my friend told me that I realized that every hole is a home for a crab. It starts digging a hole when it is only as big as a grain of rice, and then slowly gets longer and longer. When it gets bigger, slowly dig your hole deeper and deeper, and the hole will get bigger and bigger. There will be maracas scattered in patches beside each crab hole, which are the maracas thrown out by the crabs as they dig their holes. Therefore, the larger the hole is, the bigger the crab will be.

Every crab knows its own home. Just like humans, it will never go to the wrong hole. If it really enters the wrong hole, the owner of the crab hole will definitely have to fight with the intruders and then defend his home.

Brother Chen caught four crabs in the previous sandy area and about twenty crabs in this sandy area. One of them was brought in by Brother Chen and we stuffed it into a small cage. As a result, it accidentally ran away. It quickly crawled into another hole, but because it was not its own hole, it did not dare to enter. Too deep, hiding where we can still see, neither coming out nor going deep. Brother Chen was digging another hole and ignored it. He probably let it escape in the end.

After catching crabs for a while, we went back to the First Line Seaview Farmhouse to watch catching fish in the sea. When they rushed over, they had already finished their work. They caught a lot of fish, weighing more than ten kilograms, and a lot of shrimps with blue tails, which were very beautiful.

We saw them walking back, so we didn't go deep into the tidal flat. My daughter and I caught a mudskipper from the shore, but it escaped before we could prepare a bottle of water.

Xie Xinran didn't seem to be unhappy about not catching fish and not going to the sea. She really enjoyed catching crabs.

What I want to especially record is that the beach where we went to catch crabs was very beautiful. There were several mangroves in the middle, and there were a large number of fishing boats and wooden piles or fishermen’s tools on the beach. The sun was shining diagonally. It was so beautiful. . What's more, when the tide goes out, this beach forms a very beautiful texture, which is like the shape of the river basin in the sky, or like the ripples on the water. The lines are smooth and soft, very beautiful.

After catching the sea and returning to town, while waiting for everyone to go out for dinner, my daughter and I bought a cup of fried ice and sat on the pier to watch the sunset.

The sunset over the sea is spectacular, the weather is very good, and the color is very brilliant. The orange-red sunset looks like a salted egg yolk on the sea and sky, dyeing the surrounding clouds into deep and shallow golden yellow or blue clouds. Golden edge. It was clear that the train would be suspended the next day, and 12306 indicated that the high-speed train was suspended for the whole day. I thought that if this was the case, I would simply book a ticket for the day after tomorrow, and then make an appointment with someone to catch the cruise the next day to compensate my daughter for not catching the cruise today. regret, of course, this is also my regret.

When visiting a place, you need to be accompanied by locals. After all, outsiders don’t know the phenology here. Since someone is taking you, don't waste the opportunity, make an appointment, and continue to catch the sea.

When I woke up in the morning on the fourth day, I went to the restaurant. The restaurant did not dare to allow delivery from stores in the town because of the typhoon, so it only had boiled eggs and white porridge. So I took four eggs and went to the beach for a ride. In a circle.

The seaside was calm, the sun was already high, and there was no sign of an approaching typhoon. When I turned on my phone, I saw that the typhoon had already registered near Zhuhai and Yangjiang, and it had nothing to do with them.

At this time, my friend called me and asked me to go to the town for breakfast. He cooked a pot of porridge with the crabs he dug yesterday and asked me to go and drink the porridge. So I packed my luggage and checked out and went to the town to drink. I ordered three bowls of crab porridge, which was indeed very delicious.

After breakfast, I continued to go out with Xie Xinran. My friend recommended a beach called Nanweijiao. After going the wrong way, I finally found Nanweijiao Beach. This is also a very nice beach. I was inexperienced and drove the motorcycle into the sand. I couldn't push it, so I had to leave it there and play with my daughter in the water on the beach for a while. Thinking about it later, it still doesn’t work. I have to push it back. Otherwise, what should I do? I got back on the motorcycle, turned on the engine and applied the accelerator. After a few attempts, I finally drove the motorcycle to a slightly harder road and stopped.

Then I opened the small bag, took out four small pineapples (custard apples) prepared by my friend, and lay on the hammock on the roadside to enjoy the shade of the summer beach trees. My daughter came over soon, and we ate, drank water, and played in the hammock. This place is very beautiful, with pine trees, large sedges, and some unknown small plants. The sea breeze is so comfortable.

In the afternoon we rode our motorcycles back to town.

My friend has gone to the village to dig out red clay blocks and built the shape of the stove: below is a space surrounded by bricks, and above are red clay blocks built into a pyramid-shaped hollow structure, some scrap wood, Bamboos and the like burn fires in the space below, and the heat from these fires heats the red clay blocks above.

After an hour or two, take out the burning charcoal, wood blocks, and bamboo, wrap the marinated chicken and sauce in oil paper and straw paper, wet it, and stuff it into the space where the fire was just burning in the middle of the brick-built stove. Then break up the red soil clods, bury the chicken, cover it with the ashes and charcoal fire that you just took out, and then cover it with some sand to suppress it.

It rained at this time, so they covered it with a plastic bucket to protect it from rain and wind.

Forty minutes later, turn on the oven, take out the chicken, peel off the straw paper and oil paper on the outside, and a brown and fragrant roast chicken will come out of the oven. It is really fragrant and delicious. What is particularly worth mentioning is that the egg skewers inside are brightly colored, as if they are uncooked, but of course they are cooked.

At about five o'clock in the afternoon, the rain stopped, and we went to catch the sea near the fisherman's house with a first-line sea view. This is the climax of this trip, full of unexpected surprises and endless beauty. I have never experienced rushing to the sea before, so I can't imagine that the tidal flat is such an existence.

From a distance, it looks like it's all mud, but when you walk into it, you can see that there's a lot of sand in the mud, so it won't sink. I didn't dare to walk there by myself before because I didn't know if it was dangerous, so I instinctively didn't walk there. However, this time I learned that the visible tidal flat areas are all safe. You can walk freely without going down first, and you don’t need anyone to guide you.

I used to think that the tidal flat was dirty and full of silt, but this time I realized that the water is very clear and you can see fish and shrimp. It will become muddy after being disturbed, but it will become clear again after a few minutes. dirty? It's really not dirty. It is true that you need a pair of plastic sandals or Crocs or river shoes, but after a little washing, they will be clean and they will not be dirty at all.

As for the surprise? That is the small animals that are everywhere on the beach: crabs, starfish, small fish, shrimps, shells, sea anemones, general hats, etc., etc., all the small animals we can imagine on the beach are here, and In groups. With a little digging of the mud and sand, a lot of things can be dug out. Hermit crabs crawl all over the ground, starfish quickly escape, crabs raise their pincers in defensive movements, mudskippers scurry around in small puddles, and sea anemones Swinging in the sea like a flower.

I looked up and saw the oyster enclosure in the distance. The sea water was coming in waves. It felt like an infinity pool. There was no one around. It felt so beautiful.

The sky gradually darkened, and I started to go home. As I walked to the shore, I thought, if I come here next time, I will live on the beach. I can play here for a day, because it is really fun.

Yes, I have been to the island or the beach so many times. This is the first time to go to the sea and play on the beach. I have long known about the importance of tidal flats from TV and books, which represent the biological diversity of the ocean. However, this time I really realized what biological diversity is. You can see a lot of bird footprints on the surface of the tidal flat. If we hadn't disturbed them, this tidal flat would have been a paradise for birds to hunt.

So here’s something I want to say: the animals caught on the tidal flats are all too small to eat (the larger ones have moved to deeper waters), and they can’t be kept alive even if they are taken home, so on the tidal flats When you've had enough fun, release them and don't take them away. We are foreign intruders in the tidal flats. The tidal flats are the home of small animals. We should not cause additional sins of killing animals besides eating~

I looked back at the beach and saw the sunset. It was really spectacular. I plan to stay at this fisherman's house if I come again next time, and just watch the sunset on this tidal flat. No sunrise or sunset on the sea can compare to the sunset on this tidal flat. The warm orange-red color is sprinkled on the tidal flat. , the changing light and shadow is simply beautiful. This trip has been perfect to this point.

During this trip, I wanted to write a travelogue for the first time. I have traveled many times in the past and only kept diaries and not travel notes.

I think the difference may be that I finally have the ability to establish relationships with people and things. My heart has become stronger, and I have begun to be able to pay attention to the world other than myself and my daughter during my travels, and truly connect with them. The external world interacts; instead of having a young child in my heart like in the past, I am always worried that I will disturb or trouble others, so I am more accustomed to immersing myself in my own world.

This is a very important change for me, so I hope to show the entire change to thank those friends on the trip.

Before setting off, I originally thought I would follow my past pattern of wandering around a city alone. However, I finally made some attempts and changes. After confirming the itinerary, I made an appointment with a friend in Zhanjiang. Then, I met a dozen friends, and was treated thoughtfully and continuously throughout the whole process; When I came to Naozhou Island, I thought I would be warmly received, but in the end I received more thoughtful care than I imagined. ——This is something I never expected at the beginning.

Through this trip, I began to gradually step out of my little nest, slowly tried to touch the real world with my own hands, found that I was treated very gently, and then confirmed that I was welcome.

Thank you friends from Zhanjiang and Naozhou Island.
