After visiting Doupotang Waterfall, we took the scenic shuttle bus to the Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area. This scenic spot is actually the largest of the three scenic spots and is divided into two parts. It takes about three hours to complete the entire tour. Due to time constraints, we walked the first half of the trip. The scenery in the first half of the journey is dominated by strange mountains and rocks, with lush vegetation. Walking through canyons and stone forests on stone roads, the landscape is very strange. Mountains, water and forests blend harmoniously, and there is no conflict with the majestic, small bridges and flowing water. , we walked for nearly two hours. What impressed me most here was the "Shushengbu". A stone is a step, and a step is a day. A total of 365 stones of different shapes are winding in the water, exactly for a year, and everyone is walking as they go. Looking at the date on the stone, you can find the one where you were born and make a wish.
A small waterfall like a silver chain gushes out from the middle of the rock and falls into the flowing water under the rock. This is the Tianxingqiao attraction "Mawei Waterfall". It looks a bit like a horsetail when viewed from the side.
Then we took the scenic shuttle bus to the Great Waterfall Scenic Area. After getting off the bus, we walked through a steep slope and steps, and the Huangguoshu Waterfall gradually appeared in front of us.
Standing on the viewing platform on the river bank at the bottom of the valley and looking up, the waterfall is really spectacular and powerful. July is a time when there is more water in the river. The waterfall is full of water, pouring all over the sky and flying down in the sky. It seems to have endless power. When the water falls into the deep pool under the cliff, it makes a loud noise like thunder, which is shocking and awe-inspiring. If a flood hits, the waterfall will appear more powerful and majestic. It can be said to be “a beautiful place that must be visited in a lifetime”.
In the midsummer of July, it is the peak water season of Huangguoshu Waterfall, and the sound of the waterfall can still be heard from miles away. Standing on the observation deck, I saw Wan Lian flying into the air and plummeting thousands of miles. The majestic momentum was shocking.
Among the waterfalls Xu Xiake saw, "there are some that are several times taller, but never one that is so wide and big." Since then, Huangguoshu Waterfall has gradually been regarded as the first waterfall in the country.
Generally speaking, the Huangguoshu Waterfall is still very domineering. It is completely different from the Laya Waterfall and the 68-level waterfall in the Xiaoqikong scenic spot that we visited yesterday. Huangguoshu Waterfall is bold and domineering, while the waterfall in Xiaoqikong is softer and gentler. . To describe the difference between the two in one sentence, Huangguoshu Waterfall is like an adult man, bold and majestic, while Xiao Qikong is more like a boudoir woman, gentle and elegant. And they are all worth a visit!
