Copenhagen is the starting point and end point of our summer trip to Northern Europe. Of course, cost-effective direct flights are one of the considerations. But for the obsession of not coming to Copenhagen, I don’t know where to start.

A few years ago, I participated in a lottery organized by the Copenhagen Tourism Bureau on Weibo. This event almost gave me all my luck in the Weibo lottery. A roll of hand-drawn maps of Copenhagen arrived at my home from Denmark and now sits between a map of Tokyo and my cat’s water fountain. Many years later, I finally fulfilled the promise of "I want to go to Copenhagen" that I shouted during the lottery, and I also had a new intersection with the Copenhagen Tourism Bureau's Weibo because of the weird design of Copenhagen Airport.

Two years ago, my four-digit natal character served as the spokesperson for Denmark’s tourism industry, and I used this opportunity to visit Copenhagen and some other cities in Denmark. At that time, he was not yet out of the industry, and he still had a hairstyle that looked like a national younger brother. I think that is the most beautiful set of photos of Qian Xi before he took the photos. You will feel that he was really having fun in Denmark.

▲I brought along a piece of personal information to see how my boyfriend looked when he was in Denmark.

In addition, my biggest interaction with Copenhagen comes from my friend Dog Brother. He studied as a graduate student at the University of Copenhagen, and he often wore his school's hoodies and wandered around in front of my eyes. He likes to call his school "Columbia" for short, enjoy the moment of surprise from others, and then explain to others that he is Andersen's junior student with a bit of pride. He also has a wealth of stories about late-night adventures in Copenhagen, as well as recommendations for the city’s gourmet delights.

Tivoli Gardens is the most expensive attraction on the Copenhagen City Card that includes tickets, and it is only one street away from the hotel we stayed in. From the opposite corner of the City Hall Square, you can see the large facilities in the playground working non-stop, and the lively and joyful atmosphere overflows unreservedly from behind the ancient and solemn building.

More than a hundred years ago, it was once a small garden where old Copenhagen citizens walked, gathered, and watched performances. After that, its functions continued to expand, and restaurants, shops, and large-scale recreational facilities began to appear. To this day, the leisurely life of citizens in the capital in the 19th century is still maintained, and next to the lawns and deck chairs are various large-scale screaming machines. What's interesting is that most of these equipments still retain the selections made more than a hundred years ago. Many of the items are truly the first time that my third brother and I have seen each other in our not-so-poor amusement park experience.

As you can probably imagine, the industrial level of that era combined with people's imagination led to many strange and bizarre ideas. However, due to the technical level, there is always the suspicion of being rough and crude, especially since they have been passed down intact to this day. At first glance, it looks retro, but if you think about it carefully, it’s a pure hardcore work.

▲Old photos of the amusement park. The hard core thing is that other people's carousels are all horses, while Tivoli Park's is a rotating pig (there are still horses in the distance). Reminds me of the words in "The Lyrics of Wai Sing Tai Ping": "I saw it~ Others were riding horses and I was riding pigs🎵" and was given to this child at that time. Image via @tivolicph

For example, the park's commanding point is also the fourth-highest facility in Copenhagen: the high-altitude swivel chair. You can see it circling romantically with tourists from most of Copenhagen. You can actually sit on a plastic wicker chair to ensure your safety. A small iron rod as thick as a finger was placed on his leg as a bumper. The swivel chair is connected to the machine by an eight-finger-thick metal chain. The machinery started, people lifted up and rotated, and every chain became tight. It’s nothing short of thrilling, and the scenery is absolutely unique. Even while admiring the scenery, it's hard not to imagine that if this thing flew out, it would land a few streets away.

# Persecutory Paranoia Every time I sit in an amusement ride, it’s a joint exhibition of horror movies in my head

The most recommended is the ancient roller coaster in the park. There are two carriages, and the middle link part has a seat similar to that installed after dismantling half of a bicycle. The staff sits on it and manually brakes the entire vehicle. The protection is still just a big rusty iron rod. Although the track does not rotate 360 degrees, it does bump people up and down. When I went downhill a few times, I felt like I had stood up from my seat, and then I was stuck back to my seat by a big iron rod. It feels like people were designing roller coasters in that era. There was no silky smooth track or comfortable ride experience. It was just bumpy and bumpy, but it was very interesting.

▲This is the latest roller coaster in the park. Because of its small area, many tracks fly close to the scalps of walking tourists. Because it is in a small Chinese-style park, it is made red (?). It is a project strongly promoted by the park, but it is far worse than the manually braked roller coaster.

Watching others play with the projects is also a very enjoyable experience. There is an amusement facility. The scene is a huge circle with more than a dozen spherical ride cabins designed as time machines. When the machine is started, the circular base will rotate clockwise around the center of the circle. The flipping range of the spherical ride cabin all depends on the time machine. It depends on how hard the passengers want to treat themselves. Standing next to the fence, you can only hear the screams from far and near. The most exciting thing is that when the ball just rolls in front of you, as a spectator, you have the opportunity to make eye contact with the passengers, and at this time, the passengers are 100% open-minded. Screaming loudly.

There are also some very old things that are very interesting. I don’t know what to call them, such as shooting guns and winning prizes. There is a shop called "Horse Racing". Each person has three small balls. After the game starts, he throws the ball towards the score on his own track. The corresponding horse will move forward according to the score. Seeing an old woman holding up her hands excitedly after defeating her old man without any mercy, the old man wanted to win the game but was sternly rejected by his wife. The old lady took the winning ticket and held the old man's hand. Lost. I observed from a distance that I was stuffed with dog food throughout the whole process.

I decided to play a game of torturing the third brother in accordance with the law. After paying the money, we sat down on the small round stools. Two more local old ladies came to join the battle. As a result, we were tortured miserably by the old ladies. The third brother was a little dissatisfied and wanted to play again. I observed that these two old ladies looked like locals. I have been playing with this thing since I was a child. The two have no chance of winning, so they don't spend money blindly, give up, and leave.

Of course, I have my own weaknesses. For example, the founder of this amusement park is determined to "look at the world". In his and his successors' understanding, "world" = " (As understood by Europeans) Asian elements", as a pure East Asian, facing the hundreds of Chinese characters on the wall A meaningless patchwork I really don't know how to understand the idea that adding "TARIYAKI" seasoning is Japanese food. The dimensional wall of mutual understanding of East Asian culture is as thick as the Great Wall of the North. If the director really wants to uphold the founder's philosophy of running the park, he might as well invite Brother Xing from Tianjin, who runs a pancake stall at the intersection outside the park, to come to the park to guide the work. At least Asians who come from afar can feel a little bit of sincerity.

▲"Joining with the People" really won

▲The Tianjin pancake roadside stall on the outer wall of the park is said to be the same style as Lin Chiling in "Sisters Over Flowers" (what is it?). After taking a closer look, there is indeed a photo of Sister Chiling on the car.

If you really have no interest in amusement machines, you can come to Tivoli Gardens to enjoy the night view with a Copenhagen Pass. Thousands of lightbulbs outlined the park's shining outline, and people took advantage of the darkness to unleash more unbridled screams. People's dreams of theme parks more than a hundred years ago have gradually emerged. This is a magical scene where reality and illusion are seamlessly connected.

I took a photo in front of the University of Copenhagen and sent it to my dog brother, without even calculating what time it was in Beijing. He immediately responded to me with a crying expression to express his deep longing for his alma mater. Statues of famous alumni are lined up in front of the school gate, adhering to the consistent style of prestigious European schools. Continuing forward along the unclear outer wall of the school, today's first target Round Tower soon appeared in sight.

The "Round Tower" is part of Copenhagen's Trinity Church and one of the highest points in the city. Completed in 1642, it is the proud masterpiece of King Christian IV of Denmark, who was famous for his love of urban construction. He once determined to make Copenhagen into the ranks of Europe's first-class cities through urban development. In May of the second year after the Round Tower was built, Sweden went to war with Denmark. This war lasted for two years and caused Denmark to lose its former glory in the Baltic Sea.

The process of climbing up the round tower is really painful for the legs. It is spiraling up at an angle of 30 degrees. If you are tired, you can only sit on the simple window sill to rest. But once you get to the observation deck, you can have a 360-degree view of the city’s rooftops. The view of Yimapingchuan is enough to see far away, and it also makes us curious about the wonderful buildings around the edge of the city, such as the giant white roof of the power station that looks like a spaceship.

The pier for taking the canal cruise is not far from the Round Tower. My third brother and I casually boarded a cruise ship that was about to leave with our expensive Copenhagen Card in hand. We knew nothing about the route and didn’t even know if we could see the Little Mermaid statue. Newport is the first scenic spot that comes into view, excluding of course those coastal buildings such as the old Stock Exchange Center that are spectacular but unattractive to us.

The cruise ship sailed freely in the waterways of Copenhagen city. When passing by the residential area, several teenagers were swimming wildly in the canal. I jumped up from the shore and "plopped" into the water. When I saw the cruise ship approaching, I waved and said hello enthusiastically. Why didn't I think of such an interesting way to play? I immediately began to think about the feasibility of going to Copenhagen for wild swimming one summer. I could rent a bicycle and put the bath towel and slippers in the basket. The third brother must come. He can't swim, so he can help me. Looking at the bike.

When I go to Kamakura in the summer, I also want to find a short vacation to live by the seaside, show off the healthy complexion of the local people, and then go home and go to the beach every day to swim in the waves. It’s exactly the same as my current thoughts about Copenhagen. What can I do? In summer, you have to soak in the water.

The cruise ship passed by the Little Mermaid, but it was from a back angle. The captain specially stopped the boat to allow tourists to take photos at will. At this angle, tourists on the shore could not avoid taking pictures. How the Little Mermaid became a landmark in Copenhagen is really a mystery of the century. There are obviously so many amazing attractions and buildings like treasures hidden in the streets and alleys here. The moment the cruise ship passed by quickly, I would scream with regret from the bottom of my heart. Then I quickly took out the map to search and check in. I created a new map list called "See you next time in Copenhagen". The time spent on one cruise has been listed on two screens. The regret of the bead.

After the captain skillfully passed several right-angled bends and several tight bridge openings, the boat trip ended successfully. If a city has a double-decker bus tour, I advise you not to waste your money. If there is a sightseeing boat in a city, just buy a ticket and get on the boat.

The little trip in Northern Europe has finally been updated (back of chair) ... The end of the Atlantic Road and Gothenburg have not been written, nor has the New Port of Copenhagen been written. The former is because I don’t have any description of my mood. You can refer to the dry information section (dig a new hole for yourself). The latter is because I can’t find the photos of Xingang in the mobile hard drive. If I deleted them, I would be a pig.

So with this incident, I didn't feel very good after the update.

During my trip to Kyushu in recent days, the northernmost point I visited in Japan this year was the Shiretoko Peninsula in Hokkaido, and the southernmost point was Ibusuki Nishidaiyama in Kagoshima. The northernmost place in Beijing I visited this year is the company campus, and the southernmost place is my home. This comparison makes me feel super uncomfortable, hey.

That's it, see you in the next update.

Bow and step down.
