Li Zhi has a song called "Memories about Zhengzhou". The lyrics say that he doesn’t know much about Zhengzhou, except for the girl he loved.

For me, who doesn’t have a girl to love in Zhengzhou, I don’t know anything about Zhengzhou. But I often go out by train, so my limited memory of Zhengzhou is that the waiting hall is very long, there are many trains, and they are often late.

But no matter how many times I passed by, I finally set foot on the land of Zhengzhou.

So today, let’s talk about the Shaolin Temple in Zhengzhou, a subsidiary of Dengfeng City.

Yujian·Shaolin Temple

Shaolin Temple / Songshan / Dengfeng / Henan /

Shaolin Temple is named "Shaolin Temple" because it is located in the dense jungle of Shaoshi Mountain in the hinterland of Songshan Mountain.

Dengfeng is not a big city, but the ancient emperors Yao, Shun, and Yu all lived here, and it was also the original capital of the Xia Dynasty, China's first hereditary dynasty.

Dengfeng has many scenic spots, such as "Songyang Academy", one of the four major academies, where Er Cheng, the founder of Neo-Confucianism in the Song and Ming Dynasties, studied here for more than ten years.

Another example is Songshan, one of the Five Mountains, and the even louder Songshan Shaolin Temple. It can be said that this place is full of outstanding people, both civil and military.

The place where I live is called Zangjing Pavilion. Maybe this is also a kind of Buddhist connection.

Songyang Academy / Dengfeng /

Songyang Academy is easy to find, but for Shaolin Temple, many Dengfeng people don’t know how to get there by bus and where to get there.

So there is a saying that makes sense: traveling is from a place where you are tired of staying to a place where others are tired of staying.

For example, I am a Xuzhou native who travels all over the country, but I have never been to the famous Chu King's Tomb. Another example is that my classmates in Nanjing only have an impression of the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in the era when there was a fee.

So I changed trains twice before finally arriving at Shaolin Temple.

Shaolin Temple / Songshan /

Regarding the Shaolin Temple, it may be one of the starting points for every boy’s martial arts dream when he was a child.

Regarding Shaolin Temple, the earliest one should be the movie "Shaolin Temple" of the same name starring Jet Li. The most famous "monk" in Shaolin Temple when I was a child was probably Shi Xiaolong.

Later, when I watched Stephen Chow's "The God of Cookery", I saw a different Shaolin Eighteen Bronze Man, so I didn't feel as restrained about Shaolin Temple as I did when I went to White Horse Temple.

Shaolin Happy Place / Zhaitang /

Regarding Shaolin Temple, everyone pays more attention to the martial arts, or the martial arts. Shaolin Kung Fu is also said to be magical.

Regarding kung fu, I have done a little research on it. I can open wine bottles with my head, break large rocks with my chest, and split bricks with my bare hands. I can't do any of these. I can only do the horse stance which is relatively stable, because when I was naughty, I was often punished to squat in the horse stance.

I don’t know if Shaolin Kung Fu has been exaggerated, just like I still don’t know why there is no wife in the wife cake, and there is no fish in the fish-flavored shredded pork.

Chinese Kung Fu seems to be a joke recently, and fake masters seem to be flooding the martial arts world. But when you see the ancient trees in front of the Main Hall and the floor tiles in the practice room, you will be impressed by the tenacity of the ancients in practicing martial arts.

The hole in the tree poked by fingers

The dented practice room floor tiles were stepped on

There are many mountains in Shaolin Temple. Bodhidharma Cave, First Ancestor Temple, Second Ancestor Temple, etc. are distributed on various mountain peaks.

When I was watching TV when I was a child, I always felt that when those martial arts students arrived at the Shaolin Temple, they were asked to chop wood and carry water, and then they accidentally learned Qing Kung Fu. I ran a few hills today, and I feel that art really comes from life. I just run like that every day, and I feel like I can take off after taking off my leggings.

There is a statue of Patriarch Bodhidharma in the Bodhidharma Cave. It is said that Bodhidharma faced the wall here for ten years, and even his shadow was reflected on the wall. So I looked around and saw figures on the wall.

Chu Zu'an

In the abbot's room of Shaolin, it is said that the master would come to stay occasionally after finishing his business activities.

The scenery of Sanhuangzhai is very beautiful. On the other side of the ropeway is a Taoist temple. I don’t know how the Taoist priests can fly across this canyon. I wonder which Taoist friends want to survive the tribulation here?

The world's martial arts comes from Shaolin, so I went to Songshan Mountain.

Cut a watermelon in half, then the next stop is Wudang.

I don’t know since when, Jianghu has become synonymous with martial arts.

And where there are people, there are rivers and lakes.

Master Jin Yong left the knight-errant world he created for us.

The flying snow shoots at the white deer, and the laughing magician leans on the blue mandarin duck.
