I have been staying on Beijing Middle Road these days, and I can see the Bu Palace directly from the window. It’s also good to go around and experience Lhasa’s nightlife.

Although Namtso is one of the three holy lakes and is close to Lhasa, it is the most famous and has the most tourists, and the scenery is indeed beautiful. However, the excessive commercial development of the scenic spot made my experience not very good.

After a short tour, I drove back to Lhasa and had another authentic Tibetan meal and drinks with my brother Shan Zeng all night long. It proved my strength and ended up lying in Lhasa for three days.

D27-29: Lhasa

Yesterday I accidentally heard that there is a mountain top in the northern suburbs of Lhasa where you can take pictures of the night view of the entire city of Lhasa. The enthusiastic brother Shan Zeng invited me to drive up the mountain together. I have to say that this mountain top is really difficult to climb, not to mention the narrow road and steep slope. It is all a sandy road, and the altitude of the mountain is 4,000 meters higher than the city of Lhasa, so you can just overlook the entire night view of Lhasa.

In fact, it is a good choice to simply relax and bask in the sun in Lhasa without going to the scenic spots. Since the buildings in Lhasa are not higher than the Potala Palace, most hotels have viewing rooms that can directly see the Potala Palace. If you have time in Lhasa, you must go to the Lao Guangming Gang Qiongtian Teahouse in the Jokhang Temple. Here you can experience the most local morning tea. Most of them are locals, not all of them are internet celebrity check-in spots for tourists. Everyone can feel free to Sit on a long bench and put your change on the table. When the waiter sees your tea cup is empty, he pours you a cup of sweet tea and takes away a dollar. He hides the noodles for 7 yuan a bowl and gives you a piece of iron just like in the old cafeteria. Go to the kitchen to change the noodles. Very down to earth.

I took a delayed shot here, and I can see the lights of thousands of houses in Lhasa gradually brightening as the sun sets. It's beautiful.

D30-34: Lhasa-Ningchi-Chamdo-Ganzi-Chengdu

On the way back, I heard that there were heavy snowfalls and traffic jams in the mountains. In addition, I had already walked 6 times on the 318 return trip, so I changed the route at Bangda and headed north to Qamdo and then took the 317 return trip. The autumn scenery happened to be pleasant on the way. After traveling day and night, I finally returned to Chengdu safely at 1 a.m. on the 34th day. The total mileage was 9421km. The trip to Tibet was complete!

During this more than a month-long solo cycling trip, I saw a lot of beautiful scenery alone, and also met many interesting souls and stories on the road. If traveling as a couple is romantic, traveling alone is twice as romantic, because in this state I seem to have left behind all distracting thoughts and wandered freely on this beautiful land. For a long time, I said nothing in front of the beautiful scenery. There was no so-called loneliness as you might imagine. It was just that this world infected me. The continuous snow-capped mountains and lakes have existed here quietly for millions of years, without saying a word. Breathtakingly beautiful.

The mind is empty and the world is vast. If I had not mustered up the courage to set out, I would never have known that I could drive more than 9,400 kilometers alone in 34 days. I did not believe that I could complete Kailash in one day, and I would not have been able to deeply understand that one day I would also think about people and nature. Relationship. I am both small and free under this sky. I can admire the strength of the motherland's infrastructure, cheer for the bright starry sky, stop and stop for the beautiful scenery on the road, and sing loudly while driving. Everything is simple in between. hapiness.

Finally, the text part has been updated. Thank you all for your concern and companionship over the past 34 days ~ See you next time in Xinjiang!
