I just left and went to Lijiang on an impromptu basis. Brother Bi, a mountaineering enthusiast, studied the route and asked me if I could climb the mountain to see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain instead of going up the mountain via cableway. I readily agreed. After going through the shoe cabinet, all those sexy leather shoes, running shoes and slippers were of no use. I rushed to Decathlon at 8pm to buy a pair of hiking shoes. As soon as I went up the mountain, I realized that this was such an important decision. The mountains need to be waterproof, non-slip and wear-resistant. Protect your ankles, this is the most basic element of extreme challenges. When dressing for mountain climbing, you need to pay attention to the ease of putting on and taking off. Each piece can be worn alone. You must have a windproof jacket that is not thick, so it can block the wind and not get too hot. You must also pay attention to breathability. Space cotton will definitely not work.

I booked a hiking group at Fliggy, and the tour guide came to pick me up at the door of the hotel early in the morning. I chose the passenger seat so that I could chat with the driver, and started to work as a reporter. Haha, I was also accompanied by a retired couple from Kunming who came to Kunming for a special hike. , a group of four people began to go to Wenhai Village on the mountain, which is the village where the tour guide He Kexun grew up.

We started chatting along the way, and the tour guide warned us not to run around. A few days ago, a member of the group was lost. When it got dark, several people were mobilized to look for it, and they were found at ten o'clock in the evening. People who run around are usually strong and think they are powerful, haha. As soon as I went up the mountain, there was no signal on my iPhone. It seemed like a newbie like me had to keep up with the troops, otherwise the distress signal would not be sent out. The lost member of the group was quite experienced and prepared a whistle. It was dark at night and his cell phone was out of battery. Finally, he was able to determine his location and find him through the whistle. Let’s learn, everyone!

The tour guide is from the Langya Club, nicknamed Wolf Warrior. He grew up in a small mountain. Later, he gathered several friends from the village to form this club, which specializes in providing tour guides for hiking in the mountains. There are two people in a group, and the tour guide leads the group 1: Maximum of 6. If there are more than 6 people, please go with two tour guides. Our Fliggy group tour costs 370 yuan per person, which covers our whole day itinerary and lunch.

The tour guide’s surname is He, and his first name is Kexun. He is from the Naxi ethnic group. In 1989, this was a Chinese name and a Naxi ethnic name. He spoke Naxi when he was a child. In the second grade of elementary school, he started taking Chinese classes. All the people in their village are Naxi.

They have free marriage. The tour guide married a Bai girl from the ancient city of Lijiang. Isn’t that too high-spirited? I’m vulgar. Haha, the child can follow the mother’s Bai ethnic group or the father’s Naxi ethnic group. This is quite interesting. The children have been raised by their mother and are not very good at speaking Naxi dialect. There is no kindergarten in the mountain village. In order for the children to receive a better education, the tour guide usually lives in the city and picked us up to go up the mountain.

He said that from now on, we will stay together all day, and he will cook us a meal at noon, so he looks forward to it.

After driving up the mountain for about 40 minutes, we arrived at Wenhai Village in the morning dew~

The beautiful scenery of the wetland at the entrance of the village shocked us. We could see the blue sky, white clouds, and the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain...

We have enabled various modes of patting and patting,

Then we followed the tour guide back to the village to supply supplies. We also entered the village out of curiosity to see what a Naxi village looked like. The entrance to the village read ~The Forgotten Corner.

This family has the temperament of a folk compound in Yunnan. They have a restaurant and a B&B in their own home. It is very interesting to stay here for a few days when you have time, chatting with the old Naxi people and basking in the sun.

The planting at the entrance of the courtyard looks like the vegetation with Yunnan characteristics. It is colorful and enjoys the light of the plateau.

The yard is piled with pine nuts picked from the mountains. Pine nuts are found everywhere in the mountains. They cost nothing but require labor.

The picture above is the tour guide’s home

Pushing the door open, you will see a courtyard full of praises. We lamented that the tour guide was the son of a landlord. He said he was just an ordinary person.

The tour guide took us to this house, which is a large family. It is directly in the courtyard style.

The door of a wealthy family

Following the tour guide's tour of Dong's house and Xi's house, we continued up the mountain and chatted.

I'm very curious about what the village relies on to make a living. It's located in such a high mountain valley. Obviously, it can't grow rice and corn. It mainly grows potatoes and sweet potatoes and engages in animal husbandry. Most families raise cattle, sheep or horses, maybe Because it is a 40-minute drive from Lijiang City, the conditions of the people in the village are pretty good. Basically every household has a car regardless of the grade of the car.

At the entrance of the village, an aunt who looked carefully dressed stopped our car and asked the tour guide in Naxi language, which probably meant if she could help her get to Lijiang. The tour guide politely refused us to go up the mountain, so we asked the tour guide worriedly. Can I get a ride? If I go to Lijiang, do I need to pay for gas... They all laughed at me for being too vulgar. I said that people are social beings, and what I pay attention to is people's normal economic activities. Haha. The big brother from Kunming said, They are very simple people, and things have changed over the years. In the past, it was no problem to go to these places and eat for a few days or nights without spending any money.

We drove to the Institute of Botany, which is probably inaccessible for ordinary self-driving tours. There are roadblocks, but the tour guide walked through the roadblocks with ease and reached the reservoir, which was the starting point of our hike. Here is an explanation of why we can go in, but self-driving tourists cannot enter because we are not sure of the purpose of self-driving people. Many of the plants inside are protected plants, and researchers are still conducting experiments in many places in the mountains. Then there are safety issues. And we were followed by a tour guide throughout the entire journey, and our purpose was very clear. My own people, haha.

It feels like entering a primeval forest. It is said to be a primeval forest. There are not many roads, so just follow your feelings and the tour guide will show you the way. I truly agree with that sentence, there is no road in the world, but it becomes a road when more people walk on it.

The scenery in the mountains is beautiful wherever you look.

I originally thought it was a bit difficult to walk through the uneven rocks in this ditch, but after walking the entire distance, I realized that it was very, very friendly with no slope!

I started to drag my feet, and they waited for me in front over and over again. The big brother in the hat is from another group. Only one person signed up and it became a one-on-one exclusive service. The group member is a young chubby guy from Shenyang. He was as weak as me, and he was panting constantly. He even took oxygen during the last part of the climb.

Does it feel like walking through the jungle?

I finally saw a piece of flat land, and I was so excited. They said it was only one-fifth of the way. But thinking about the rumor that there will be an inn cabin at one-half of the location 🏡 I’m still looking forward to it. You don’t care what the fifth is, let’s talk about it after dinner.

I wasn't fully prepared for windproof, so I grabbed Brother Bie's windproof jacket.

Because I was breathing heavily, my brother had no choice but to take my weight and carry two bags per person. It was time to show off my strength.

Climb the rocks up the mountain and find your own place to set foot.

We are a little high away from the starting point of the reservoir.

Photography locations recommended by tour guides

I particularly like this one, beautiful

I have been thinking about the inn cabin and my lunch, so I can feel better.

Finally, we arrived at the cabin at an altitude of 3,680 meters. I felt so happy that I found a place to put down my luggage and started taking photos again.

We were resting, and the tour guide was busy helping us make lunch.

Fried potatoes and shredded pork, the flower rolls were bought in the city in the morning. He put them directly on the roof of the cabin to heat them with the sun's rays, 666

Potatoes were completely wiped out because they had a strong taste.

The stir-fried shredded pork was relatively bland and no one cared about it. The tour guide thought that we were from Shanghai and specialized in light cuisine, but he didn’t expect that both of us would eat some chili peppers, talking about the importance of communication. I put chili noodles at the back to make up for it, haha.

The food cooked by the tour guide was very good under simple conditions. Maybe it was because I had no expectations at all. It was quite satisfying to be able to eat like this in the wilderness. (I thought I was going to dig a log to make a fire, haha)

I didn't feel anything at first when I got to the cabin. After eating, Brother Bi and I both felt dizzy. The two friends from Kunming didn't feel anything the whole time. Later I found out that we had experienced high tide.

After the break, we started climbing again. My combat effectiveness was obviously weakened, and I finally climbed to the halfway point of the flat dam. I needed to take a long, hard rest.

There are almost no wildflowers in high vegetation above an altitude of 3800, which shows how powerful the vitality is!

Seeing my companions getting further and further away from me, and seeing how powerful they all were, I cheered up and kept moving forward. From this position to the final summit, (climbing one mountain and another), I was basically three. I stand every step, sit down every five steps, gasping for air. I feel like I can’t catch my breath after walking a few steps. At the same time, my legs are weak and I can’t move my legs. I have to continue to find a place to put my feet among the rocks. How difficult is it for me~ I also have to cooperate in taking photos, pretending to be relaxed~

During this period, I was completely in no mood to take pictures. All I could think about was how to take a breath and how to persevere. Looking at the recording of me sitting down and panting on the side of the road recorded by my brother, I felt desperate and collapsed several times. I already clearly felt that I The workload of my lungs is so strong that every time I ask the tour guide how far ahead, he always replies, "It's still a little bit, you can reach this pass just by climbing up." I instantly understand that this is your standard answer... Brother Bi always told his teammates and tour guides in front of him, "You go first, I'll stay with her," she should be able to hold on, don't worry. What I really wanted in my heart was to just lie down... But there was no way to lie down among the rocks, and the vegetation in the grass was very irritating.

Later, the tour guide saw that I was out of breath and on the verge of despair, so he gave me a bottle of fairy water and asked me to drink it in one gulp! It is said to take care of the special needs of special people. I couldn't control anything at that time, just drink, drink,

This is a photo of the fairy water that I took with the tour guide later. Thanks to this bottle of fairy water, I can feel slightly better than my brother after going down the mountain...

After untold hardships, I finally reached the top. When I collapsed all the way, I asked Brother Bi and two mountaineering enthusiasts from Kunming, what kind of pleasure can climbing bring you, why do you like climbing so hard, and what do you enjoy? Place... They said they like the feeling after climbing to the top. The scenery is unique and there is a feeling of loneliness and independence.

Now, two days later, I look back and see that the scenery after climbing to the top is indeed worth it! There is indeed a feeling of loneliness of walking at the end of the world. I am at a loss for words. You win!

This is the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. I climbed to an altitude of 4,200 meters after all the hard work to get closer to it and see it.

Take a memorable photo! It was very windy on the top of the mountain and it was freezing to death. My fingers that took photos with my cell phone were so cold that they were shaking.

The above excellent works are all created by tour guides. The Virgo guy is very picky and has a special liking for this kind of scenery. He insists that I take photos of him from various angles. I almost get irritated when taking photos. He insists on re-taking photos that look the same to me. , I took so many photos but couldn’t get the right one... Poor me, my hands were shaking from the cold...

We were immersed in the joy of climbing to the top and took countless photos. We were satisfied and ready to go down the mountain. I am no longer afraid of going down the mountain. I am rejuvenated and full of energy. I always walk at the front. See, what I lack is not physical strength, but oxygen, haha. People say that it is easier to go up the mountain than to go down. I think it is much easier to go down the mountain, although I almost stepped on it several times and once fell to the ground...

The tour guide also showed us a performance of flying down for a minute and a half. Why are people so different? Poor, we struggled to walk down this section of the road. They rested there for a long time.

Several times we encountered the staff of the Institute of Botany digging pits for experiments, and their horses. Their big bodies could go up and down the mountain effortlessly on such a rugged mountain road. How can we be so human...

Only two of the staff of the institute are locals, and the rest have left their hometowns to work in the mountains for many years. I pay tribute to them!

We returned to the cabin for a short rest,

I also wanted to see their water source with great interest.

This is the water source at the site they chose. There is a spring that usually stores water for cooking. When it is not in use, it is covered with wooden blocks and running water is taken every day for cooking.

After seeing the water source, I climbed up to get back to the cabin. I collapsed again. It turned out that the ease of going down the mountain was all an illusion. If I were asked to climb another 60 meters, I couldn't even go up in one breath, and I started breathing heavily again. Tell the tour guide, you go first, don't wait for me, I have to rest... Useless guy.

It turned out that after two days, my legs still felt weak when I heard about climbing stairs. I had a very difficult time going to the temple with a few stone stairs on Lugu Lake Island. I asked my brother to go first. I really couldn't go up. The hotel I have to do some psychological construction in the room on the third floor...serious sequelae.

The eldest lady asked for a gift, so I brought back the leaves I picked in the mountains, hahaha

The scenery on the way down the mountain, where there is water, it feels very spiritual.

Returning to the starting point, at 5:50 in the evening, cattle and sheep were seen in the wind and grass.

It is said that the hiking and mountain climbing has come to a successful end at this point. I will add the following plot. Although it is a little embarrassing, haha, you must be mentally strong.

On the way down from the mountain to Lijiang City, Brother Bi and I began to suffer from altitude sickness. We had splitting headaches, to be precise, they felt like vomiting, and we were so weak. So cool, I almost vomited in the car. Because I drank the fairy water and sat in the passenger seat, I felt a little better. I managed to go to see the performance of Lijiang Eternal Love, so I went straight back to the hotel and lay down. Then I asked my friends about their experience on how to deal with various types of hypersensitivity reactions. I went to pharmacies to buy medicines and oxygen bottles. When I went to pharmacies, all the people from other places came to buy anti-hypersensitivity drugs. They were for prevention. I was helpless and asked about the fact that we already had hypersensitivity reactions. The conclusion reached from all aspects is that you should take Fenbid immediately to relieve the headache (isn’t this an antipyretic medicine for children?), drink glucose water to replenish energy, buy an oxygen bottle and go back to breathe oxygen. You can’t take a bath or do anything strenuous. Exercise, and, be sure not to catch a cold. If you catch a cold, you will easily develop lung obstruction and pulmonary edema...

Brother Bi's high fever was relieved that night, and he got up and rushed to Lugu Lake the next day to explore walking marriage. I still had high fever and gastrointestinal disorders when I arrived at Lugu Lake... There are so many stories behind the beautiful scenery, so don't I only see the beauty shown by people’s pretense, haha, I know what high-religion is...

Anyway, this whole experience will eventually become a rare experience in our lives. It is precisely because of the various twists and turns that the memory is more profound and unforgettable. Or the difficulties and obstacles, the ups and downs, are the charm that those hiking and mountaineering enthusiasts want, that is, to try the unknown!
