· Lugu Lake ·

A friend has been to Lugu Lake before and watched a variety show that was filmed here, but he didn’t know much about it and had little interest in it. But when I actually saw Lugu Lake with my own eyes, I realized that photography could not reflect one-tenth of its beauty, and I also understood why my friends still wanted to go there again .

Lugu Lake is located at the junction of Yunnan Province and Sichuan Province. It is jointly governed by Sichuan and Yunnan. It is the third largest deep-water lake in China. In the Mosuo language of the Naxi people, "Lugu" means ravine, "GU" means RI, and "Lugu Lake" means the lake in the ravine.

As soon as you enter the scenic spot from the gate, there is a viewing platform with an excellent view, where you can have a panoramic view of Lugu Lake. From a height, Lugu Lake looks like an indigo gem. The blue sky, white clouds, green mountains and green water complement each other in an amazing way.

Drive to the inn in Daluoshui Village to check in. Along the lakeshore of Daluoshui Village are Mosuo wooden houses. Now most of them have been transformed into hotels that provide accommodation. There are also gravel paths and wooden plank roads along the lake.

There are beautiful scenery all along the Lugu Lake. In order to better appreciate its beauty up close, we plan to cycle around the lake. I thought it would be about 70 kilometers around the lake, but it turned out to be only about 48 kilometers. There was a slight climb along the way, but most of the road was not steep, and the overall difficulty was acceptable. However, the second half of the road along the lake was not shaded by trees and was very sunny. .

The water of Lugu Lake is crystal clear. From the shore to the center of the lake, it gradually changes from transparent to the color of the sky, which is beautiful. (It’s a pity that the photo can’t be taken T^T)

The Mosuo people are accustomed to building a pyramid-shaped pile of pebbles or stones at village intersections or tribal junctions, with prayer flags inserted on them, called "road bags", for worshiping gods.

The Walking Wedding Bridge is located in the Caohai area in the southeastern waters of Lugu Lake. It is the only bridge on Lugu Lake. Due to long-term sedimentation, the water depth under the bridge has become shallow, and there are dense reeds growing there. From a distance, it looks like a sea of grass, so the locals call it the "Sea of Grass."

This ride set a new record for my longest riding distance. I was a little worried about not being able to complete it, but the overall ride was relatively easy. Other colleagues who don't exercise often feel a little uncomfortable. Except for my butt feeling a little bit after sitting for a long time, I'm fine. It seems that this year's progress has not been in vain (#^.^#).

If your physical strength allows, it is really recommended to ride around Lugu Lake with three friends, but remember to wear sun protection~
