【0523Today’s itinerary】

5:30/14:30 Beijing to Chongqing + lunch + check-in.

14:30/16:00 Check in: Mountain City Trail

16:00/19:00 Check-in: Junge Bookstore + Graffiti Street

19:00/20:00 Dinner (Jiaotong Noodle House)

20:00/21:00 Check in: Yangtze River Cableway

21:00/22:30 Check in: Hongya Cave

On the day of departure, I was relatively calm. I washed up at 5 o'clock, and half an hour later, each person had a trolley suitcase and set off!

Daxing Airport is so convenient! As expected of a capital city appearance, the plane food is average and the flight attendants are average. I was acquainted all the way, and Reiko slept all the way.

After landing, taking the light rail to the hotel is a completely different experience than the Beijing subway. In Beijing, it feels like the subway is just an iron box. Every stop is the same when it is dark and when it is bright, and the ground and underground are completely disconnected. The Chongqing light rail is mostly on the ground and is built according to the mountainous terrain. On the right are mountains stretching, and on the left there may be cliffs. It is visually stunning.

After putting away the luggage and taking a break, the first stop was 【Mountain City Trail】. Somewhat similar to Beijing's hutongs, the Mountain City Trail is more commercial, with various cultural and creative shops and artificially arranged small scenes, which are very exquisite.

Then I went to 【Junge Bookstore】 and 【Graffiti Street】. Regarding the energy of idols, I just want to say that I am too ignorant. In remote and desolate city suburbs and abandoned railways, there is an endless stream of beautiful ladies who come to join the team to check in. In addition to wonder, there is only wonder...

It is still not recommended to go specifically to graffiti street. I unexpectedly discovered the Traffic Tea House outside the guide. It is said that many celebrities have been to this place. It is dilapidated and shabby, like an air-raid shelter underneath, and has a strange smell. It's almost closing time, but there are still many customers. We had dinner at the traffic noodle shop next door. The food was very good and the owner was also very good.

If you want to enjoy the night view of Chongqing, then [Yangtze River Cableway] must be a good choice. Even in the off-season, the entire [Waiting Hall] was still crowded with tourists who came to experience it, and they had to wait for three buses before they could get in. It felt quite novel before going up, but after going up it felt just so so. The curiosity was satisfied in that moment, and we were also the ones who flew across the Yangtze River, hahaha.

The last stop today, Hongya Cave! Because the hotel is very close to here, we tried to visit it once during the day. Why do you say it's an attempt? Because I missed the mark (the signboard for Hongya Cave was right in front of me, but I couldn’t get the number right, and it didn’t match the photo). When I came back in the evening, I finally understood the reason, because Hongya Cave was right at my feet, so of course I couldn't see it. Guided by the lights and the flow of people, we finally appreciated the full view of this landmark building from the Qiansimen Bridge. How does it feel? There are too many people, too many beauties, too many cars, too many hawkers... Take a photo, check in, and withdraw!

【What to say that day】

End of day one. Unexpected success, reasonable satisfaction! As expected, "If you make a good strategy, you will have no worries when traveling"!

  • Regarding accommodation: 8.5 points

I found a B&B on Meituan two days before departure.

—— Geographical location: A B&B renovated from a residential building. The Hongyadong play area is downstairs and 5-10 minutes away from the subway station (you have to take a taxi to travel. I didn’t know it was so close until the day before I left). , one side of the building has a river view, and the other side is the commercial area;

——Life surroundings: Downstairs is the commercial area, where you can eat, drink and play. PS: There is also a hospital, but unfortunately it is not in use at this time.

——Accommodation experience: One room, tatami mat by the window, extra-large bed, European-style washing mirror, various small lamps, decorations... It can be seen that the soft furnishings are very attentive, the owner's aesthetics must be good, and the decoration effect is also very good. The biggest shortcoming is the lack of sound insulation. This is a shortcoming of the entire residential building. It feels like normal voices in the corridor and the building opposite can be heard clearly, which is a bit embarrassing.

  • About eating and drinking: 9.5 points

It must be praised! How stunning is it? Just two meals gave me the illusion that if I walk into any restaurant on the streets of Chongqing, no matter how small or shabby it is, it must be a treasure shop. If I'm just lucky, then it's possible - maybe. A brief review of eating and drinking:

——A Sour Cow: 2 drinks, delicious and not expensive. It is indeed one of the local signatures, better than Mixue Bingcheng.

——Unknown restaurant: 2 servings of small noodles, super delicious! The small shop downstairs of the B&B has too many people, the environment is terrible, the seats are too crowded, the service attitude is terrible, and the price is a little expensive. All these shortcomings cannot cover up the advantage of delicious noodles, hahaha. But if I still had the choice, I probably wouldn’t go there a second time. (Mainly when ordering food, I can feel that the boss is ignoring and perfunctory towards foreign tourists. He has to repeat every sentence 3 or 5 times before he gets a response, which is very annoying.)

——Jiaotong Noodle House: 2 portions of small noodles, super delicious! It's still small noodles, but it's different from the ones at lunch, but the taste is indeed as good as ever. When we asked that we not want spicy food, the lady boss advised us patiently and patiently that we must try their signature spicy food, which is fragrant but not spicy! Don't deceive me.

  • About the weather: 6 points

It was humid, with a little rain and fog from time to time, and the sun was almost never seen. It is said that this is the normal weather condition and I am not used to it.

  • About playing

I hesitated not to take a cruise, which is a pity.
