During the Spring Festival of 2018, a car of four people started from Hubei, passed through Hunan, went to Guangxi, and went all the way to Dongxing Seaside in Fangcheng Port. Starting from the starting point of the border road in Dongxing, they walked through the mountains and rivers adjacent to Southwest and Vietnam, and then to Yunnan. The Yunnan-Vietnam Railway and Maitreya Hot Spring are waiting for us.
Guilin
Starting from Hubei, the first stop is Guilin. This mountainous city is the best intermediate station from the northern provinces entering Guangxi. It may be during the Spring Festival, so I contacted several restaurants and had to wait for a table. Therefore, I had dinner at a chain store on the bank of the Li River, which was nothing special. 
Wandering around the streets of Guilin, I walked into the ancient city wall of Guilin. I really didn’t expect that Guilin’s ancient city wall is really ancient. The old city bricks and the shimmering light shine through the city gates and reflect on passers-by. It is cleaner than the popular scenic spots on the Li River, and it is not as clean as a tourist city. 
Walking along the Lijiang River along the ancient city wall of Guilin, it is surprising that old buildings from the Anti-Japanese War period still remain. The old streets beside the Li River are well preserved, with ancient trees and ancient city walls, which are simple and quiet. Guilin is just the middle station, our goal is the sea.
Dongxing
From Guilin, we pass through the crowded Quannan Expressway and head towards the seaside. Arrive at Dongxing City, where Fangchenggang belongs. 
When I arrived in Dongxing, a new port city, the first thing I did was to attend a local family dinner as a fake uncle. I was honored to receive a red envelope from an elder in Guangxi for the first time, and I had to leave a mark. 
No one is working at Wanwei Golden Beach in Dongxing, and fishing on stilts in the evening is a complete waste.

I don’t know which brain nerve was short-circuited, but during the most crowded period of the Spring Festival, I applied for a border pass in Dongxing and wandered to Mong Cai in Vietnam with the gesture of crossing thousands of troops.

A tall and thin building stands on the street. It is said that the number of floors indicates the number of wives. The wife is responsible for making money to support the family, and the man is happy.

All those who miss the great exploration should visit Vietnam and experience the construction achievements of our country in the past 30 years. 
Having lunch at a street shop on Mong Cai, I met a Vietnamese beauty riding a scooter. I ordered a seafood fried rice and tried to praise the Vietnamese beauty in awkward English: "You are so beautiful!" , the Vietnamese beauty smiled slightly and politely said "Thank you!" in Chinese. 
The beauty can only look at it, let's try Vietnamese food, wait! Haitian soy sauce is also popular in Vietnam, no! I want fish sauce! Back to Dongxing, I brought a few bottles of Vietnamese fish sauce home to eat.
