Lingbian Village is located in the deep mountains southwest of Jinhua City, the source of Jiufeng Reservoir, 65 kilometers away from the city. The whole village is surrounded by mountains on one side and fields on three sides. On the opposite side is the beautiful Sanfeng Mountain. At the foot of the village are ancient terraces with a height of 500 meters. The owner of Lingbian Village, whose surname is Su, is the residence of the descendants of the famous "Three Sus" (Su Shi, Su Xun and Su Che), the famous writers of the Song Dynasty. More than 500 years ago, during the Chenghua period of the Ming Dynasty, Pan, the father-in-law of the founder of the Su family here, began to cultivate terraced fields. After several generations and hundreds of years, he used the spirit of Foolish Old Man to move mountains to embroider hundreds of acres of majestic terraced fields on the mountains with sweet springs and fertile soil. The terraces have four sceneries a year, including yellow rapeseed flowers in spring, beautiful water and mountains in summer, fragrant rice ears in autumn, and white snow in winter. In the summer of June, we came, with that acre of land in our hearts. In the golden autumn of October, we came as promised to see the piles of yellow rice.
It coincides with the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day. In the morning, I watched the terraced fields beside the ridge. In the afternoon, I walked to Tashi Forest Farm, down to Geling, to Tapashi Forest Farm, to Shangnankeng, to Fish Pond, to Xiayu, where I ate local chickens and picked them. My motherland and I cannot be separated for a moment. No matter where I go, a hymn flows out. I sing to every mountain and every river.
