The first trip in 2020 was prompted by casual chat. The first thing I made was an appointment with Xia and Jie. When the children started school, we would go on a self-driving trip together. Later, after school started, they had other arrangements and couldn't go.
During another casual chat with her girlfriend, Ali and Xiaoyu said that we had enough for three people and we could leave again. A week later, Ali couldn't go again because her child was in her senior year of high school and she had various considerations.
One day Xiaoyu and I went to the nursing home to watch Aunt Qiang, and planned to go to Senger Coffee Shop for a drink. On the way, it suddenly occurred to me that I could ask Boss Bu if he had time to go on a self-driving trip together.
When I arrived at the coffee shop, I saw Boss Bu and made it clear in a few words that she wanted to go on a trip. I asked her if she was going? After hearing this, she slowly smiled and said, "It's okay during that time." It was an instant hit. We almost decided to leave the next day. That day was September 3rd.
It was later decided to leave on September 20th. During this period, Boss Bu went to volunteer at the half marathon event. I spent my child’s birthday with me and completed recent work.
When I went home at the weekend, I marked this circle of route with a green pen on the big map at home. This circle on the map will be measured by us.
9.16Blessed sharing
As departure was approaching, we formed a small group of three people. Anyone among us who sees travel texts or videos about the Hexi Corridor will post them in the group, which can be regarded as a cultural lesson before departure.
In order to distinguish other group names, I started Dunhuang Tour. In fact, this trip went through the Hexi Corridor to Asake, Huatugou, Daqaidan, Qinghai Road, north to Menyuan and back to Xining. Ten days for three people in a car.
There happened to be a reading group tonight, and the three of us met to talk about our travel plans. We all agreed that we had a rough plan, and we would adapt it to the situation on the road and our mood.
Based on the route we drew on the map before, we also simply drew a travel strategy map.
I saw this picture online as a reference.
This is my first time leading a self-driving trip. When I drove to Tibet before, my classmates planned the route. Just enjoy the scenery along the way and don't worry about it. This time it was a self-driving trip for three girls. The three of us didn't have too many worries, we just made various emergency plans and hit the road.
We became active in the group and agreed to take turns changing the group name every day. I just thought about using the group name as a daily diary topic.
Today’s group names are blessed to share. Some of us bring shampoo, some bring body wash, and some bring tea pots. In short, it is an atmosphere of sharing blessings.
What I want to say to myself today: God only gives you the perfect way, stay in love.
