In the morning, I had breakfast at the Chongqing noodle shop downstairs of the hotel, making some noodles. Then I took Line 3 to the Garden Expo Garden. After looking around at the Jiangnan Garden, I was a little disappointed. The Yangzhou Garden was really average. It is not recommended to come. On the one hand, it is too big and consumes physical energy. On the other hand, it is far away from the main city. From the airport hotel to the main city, we passed the Garden Expo, so we came here to play.
At noon, we had our first Chongqing hotpot meal at Brother Zhou Hotpot (Beicheng Tianjie Store) on Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street. Brother Zhou was recommended by a friend, and the store door and apron are all advertising "Dianping's must-eat list". The environment is clean and tidy, the ingredients are fresh, and the service is very attentive. The waiter at our table helped us make a sauce. After lunch, we continued taking Line 3 to one of the "Magic Three Heroes" - the Crown Escalator at Lianglu Intersection. This is the second longest one-level escalator in Asia. Since my mother was worried that it would rain the next day, we decided to check in early for another one of the "Magic Three" - the Yangtze River Cableway. The cableway is 1,166 meters long, connecting Yuzhong District and Nan'an District. The running time is 4 minutes, one way is 20 yuan, and round trip is 30 yuan. Now that I think about it, this is the only place I wanted to go but didn't. After taking the round trip ropeway back to the North Station, there was Baixiang Street written next to it. I thought it would be better to visit the so-called Baixiang Street Historical and Cultural Area. It was a long walk uphill and downhill, but unfortunately the repairs were not completed, so I was a little disappointed. Not far away is the last one of the "Three Magical Heroes" - the Triumph Road Elevator. The Kaixuan Road elevator connects the upper and lower half of the city, with a height of 11 floors and a lifting height of 32.5 meters. The entrance to Xiacheng is in a building near Fudan Middle School. It is not very eye-catching. Many students take the elevator from here to go uptown and go home after school. Looking at the gap between the two sides in this picture, Chongqing can only be described as magical.
We checked in at Jiefangbei before dinner, and the choice for dinner still came from the recommendation of friends. Li Ji Chuan Chuan Xiang (Jiefangbei Main Store) sounds like a big chain brand, but it is actually a small shop on the roadside with a staircase to the second floor. After dinner, my college classmates came to us to accompany us to Hongya Cave. There were more people lining up on the top floor, so we were tricked by scalpers into taking the elevator in an office building far away and entering Hongya Cave from the bottom floor. When I went back the next day, I found that the office building was very close to the B&B. I was too tired after carrying my luggage for a day, so I might as well put my luggage down and go play again. To me, the interior of Hongyadong is a layered version of snack street + ancient street, but the exterior scenery is great.

The second day’s itinerary includes Liziba, Eling No. 2 Cultural and Creative Park, Ciqikou Ancient Town, Three Gorges Museum, Great Hall of the People, Nan’an Nanbin Road, and Qiansimen Bridge. Since I walked a lot on the first day and overfulfilled my check-in tasks, the second day was relatively easy.
I woke up early in the morning and went straight to the Liziba Light Rail Crossing Building attraction, which can be said to be one of the most famous landmarks in Chongqing. Located at Liziba Station of Light Rail Line 2, the 6th floor is the station hall, the 7th floor is the equipment floor, and the 8th floor is the platform floor. The eighth floor is a residential building, but going out from the other side of the building is the first floor.

In the evening, my college classmate celebrated her birthday in advance and took her hairdo. However, because Chongqing is not suitable for cycling, cycling is indeed a special entertainment project for Chongqing people. The third day’s itinerary includes Hongya Cave, Cathay Art Center, Jiefangbei Food Street, Mountain City Trail, and Guanyin Bridge. I’ve been to most of the places I wanted to visit, and it became more casual on the third day.
I woke up in the morning and walked to Hongya Cave. I had not paid attention to the scenery here at night. No one came during the day, so I could take a photo of my parents as a tourist.
I heard that the delicious food street in Jiefangbei is very good, so I decided to have snacks at noon to save some food for the hot pot in the evening. On the way to Jiefangbei, we passed Cathay Arts Center. The culture of "landscape ridges, stacked eaves and buckets" is a melting pot, which embodies the strong Bayu culture.
Bayi Road Food Street and Jiefangbei Food Street are close to each other. There is also a Chongqing Food Street, which is very close to Jiefangbei. I ate here on the first floor at noon. There are several restaurants that are really good, such as Tengjiao Duck Blood It turned out to be a fan of duck blood. The crispy meat was fried and even didn’t taste good (very disappointing). After eating, I still had some free time, so I decided to go to the unplanned mountain city trail, which is also a place for new internet celebrities to check in. However, part of it is being repaired. From the trail, you can overlook the bridge under construction on the river. The air is fresh after the light rain, making it a great place to relax.
Of course, the last meal before returning to Yangzhou was reserved for hot pot. The only place on the way to the airport was the Guanyinqiao business district, so I took a taxi and finally chose Peijie Hot Pot. The fried dishes and Xiaojun liver are really amazing. The free desserts are also very spicy. If you bring a train ticket or a plane ticket within three days, you can even get a 12% discount on the dishes.
There is still a long way from the exit of the airport subway station to T2A. It was a bit rushed and the plane was slightly delayed, but we still got home smoothly~

I usually feel that I can still eat some spicy food, and there is no problem if it is slightly spicy in Chongqing. However, the number of times I went to the toilet increased significantly the next day, and I felt a little uncomfortable on the first day after returning to Yangzhou. On the contrary, my parents, who can't eat spicy food, didn't have any abnormalities. I don’t know if it’s because they don’t eat spicy food, or if they can actually eat spicy food. Generally speaking, there should be no problem if you agree with the merchant on the slightly spicy food.
As a sweet tooth, I really can’t resist ice powder, cold cakes, cold shrimps, and brown sugar glutinous rice cakes. When I first arrived in Chongqing, I told my mother that I wanted to eat the special snack ice powder. My mother was still very confused as to how delicious it was. Then there is the large-scale authentic fragrance scene. Oh, it turns out that your cooking is not delicious!
