Those few days in Chongqing coincided with the release of the movie "Passing Through Your World"
This movie was shot in Chongqing
The plot of joys and sorrows perfectly matches this emotional city
Half of the hustle and bustle, half of the quiet old streets
Chongqing is also a city full of magic
Every day here is going uphill and downhill
Use navigation here. I can’t save you if you’re lost.
If you take the elevator here, you will find that the first and 11th floors are both on the road.
Let’s listen to the story of Chongqing
Day 1
Liberation Monument

This is a landmark building in Chongqing
The most prosperous central business district (CBD) in Chongqing is formed with Jiefangbei as the center.
Our hotel is booked here. It’s very convenient to go anywhere.
It's very close to everything from eating, drinking, entertainment and shopping.
Around the Liberation Monument at night, the lanterns are lit and there are many tall buildings.
Let you immerse yourself in the prosperity of this city

Bayi Road Snack Street
Not far from Jiefangbei is Bayi Road Snack Street.
Various snacks with Chongqing characteristics
Glutinous rice cakes, barbecue, Shancheng rice dumplings, Bangbang chicken, etc.
Here are two must-try items recommended:
Flower market bowl of mixed noodles

Queuing almost all the time
There is absolutely no place to sit and eat in the store
Everyone eats standing on the sidewalk with a bowl in hand
Personally, I think it’s too embarrassing to eat like this…
But it still tastes great
Haoyoulai Hot and Sour Noodles

If you like hot and sour noodles, you can’t miss it.
Super sour, super super super spicy
But it can’t hide the delicious taste
Must try it
Yangtze River Cableway

For Chongqing citizens, the Yangtze River Cableway is an ordinary means of transportation.
The Chongqing episode of "Extreme Challenge" left a deep impression on me here.
You can cross the Yangtze River to the other side in just a few minutes by cableway.
You can take a look at the scenery along the way
It is recommended to ride at night. The night view is beautiful, but you have to do it when the weather is clear.

A tree in Nanshan
After getting off the Yangtze River Cableway, you can go to Nanshan to see the night view.
The famous Nanshan tree
It is from the position of this tree that you can look down at the night view of Chongqing.
From this angle, you can see the most Hong Kong-like night view
Therefore Chongqing is called "Little Hong Kong"

Day 2
Ciqikou
Ciqikou is an ancient town with urban characteristics.
Just like Xi’an’s Muslim Street and Xiamen’s Zengcuo’an
There are various snacks and shops on the ancient streets
Although such streets are now mostly filled with commercial atmosphere
But Ciqikou is a place that still retains its own culture and characteristics.
In addition to the simple buildings
There are also traditional performances such as sugar making and Sichuan opera.
There are the most famous Chenchang silver twists, camellia oleifera, Chongqing skewered Bobo chicken, as well as red oil base and chopped pepper made on site.
There are small literary and artistic shops as well as some old traditional shops that have been open for decades.
Walk here and feel the folk customs of Chongqing
Sichuan Fine Arts Institute Old Campus

Here you can see the simple mountain city appearance
It is a place where you can experience the tranquility away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Various artistic sculptures and buildings on campus
There are graffiti everywhere
Even the surface of the dormitory building is covered with graffiti.
Calm down and observe every corner of the campus
There will always be a variety of artistic little surprises waiting for you
Crown Escalator

You can take the subway to Lianglukou Station
2 yuan for a single trip, 4 yuan for a round trip
The total length is 112 meters and runs 0.75 meters per second. It is called the tallest elevator in Asia.
Due to the special topography of Chongqing, it is impossible to see the end from above.
If you're afraid of heights, don't sit down.
In fact, the elevator facilities are very dilapidated and the surrounding environment is not very good.
There is no need to make a special trip, but it is always good to experience it
The episode where Huang Bo and Zhang Yixing picked the longest eggplant in "Extreme Challenge" was also recorded here.
Mountain City Third Trail

Like the Eighteen Ladders, this place belongs to the old city.
Here you can feel the most charming old Chongqing, a mountain city.
There are wooden planks and stone steps
There are people living beside the road
The Liberation Monument has a distinct difference between the city and the ancient city.
Here you can see the most simple life of Chongqing people
Several elderly people were sitting in front of their homes enjoying the cool air
Several kittens and puppies ran recklessly on the steps

Yangtze River and viaduct
Separate the old town on one side from the city on the other side
Experience two completely different scenery in Chongqing at the same time

Eighteen Ladders
Shibati is only a few minutes away from the Third Trail
The stairway where Lychee chases Mao Shiba in the movie has been demolished to pieces.
I probably won’t see it anymore in the future.
Chaotianmen Pier

From Chaotianmen you can see the intersection of the Yangtze River and Jialing River
I came here in the evening and the scenery was already beautiful.
The effect is even better when you come here at night

Hongyadong
Very similar to the prototype of Yubaba's bathhouse in "Spirited Away"
Hongyadong is a famous stilted building complex in Chongqing.
Lights on from 8:00-10:00pm
The Hongya Cave under the lights at night is extremely spectacular
Take photos across the road at the bottom for the best angle

Hongya Cave has 11 floors in total
Due to the special geographical location of Chongqing Mountain City
Here you can experience the scene where the 1st and 11th floors are all on the road.
There are restaurants, bars, and various small shops on each floor.
You can also overlook the scenery of the entire Jialing River from inside.
You can also see the Qiansimen Bridge across the river
This can be said to be the most dreamy place in Chongqing

At this point, the recommended scenery in Chongqing is almost the same.
(Continue to look down at Day 3 and related travel notes about Wulong, Chongqing)
You can re-arrange the places you want to go to every day according to your own situation.
Next, I will recommend to you the food you are most concerned about.
Chongqing steamboat

Chongqing hot pot is spicy and more authentic
The dishes are also slightly different from our hot pot.
There will be some additional dishes such as goose intestines, duck blood, duck intestines, crispy pork, tripe, yellow throat, fish, brains, brown sugar glutinous rice cake, etc.
I have never eaten any kind of intestines before
I was impressed by the deliciousness of goose intestines and duck intestines
Here are some hotpot restaurants worth visiting:
Linjiangmen Dongzi Old Hotpot (Jiangbei District Store)
Zhiyanhe Wharf Hot Pot (Hongyadong Branch)
Captain Theme Hot Pot (Jiefangbei Store)
fish
Of course, you can’t miss all kinds of fish in Chongqing on the Yangtze River.
Recommend two delicious grilled fish restaurants
Zhuge Grilled Fish (Jiefangbei Branch)
Qi Yufu Grilled Fish (Bayi Square Store)
Day 3
A full day trip to Wulong Tiansheng Sanqiao Scenic Area
Wulong has many naturally formed magical scenes.
Some of them have been listed as world natural heritage sites.
This is the filming location for the movies "A City of Golden Armor" and "Transformers"
"Where Are We Going, Dad" has also been here before
It takes several hours to reach Wulong from Chongqing.
If you want to come to Wulong to play, it is recommended to sign up for a one-day tour group.
It can include tickets for the visit and transportation, which is more convenient.
Wulong Tiansheng Sanqiao Glass Gazebo
The glass terrace is built on the top of a cliff 1,200 meters above sea level.
It is currently the largest single glass balcony in the world.
You can experience it
You can see many people who are afraid of heights sitting on the ground and not daring to get up. Haha.

Wulong Tiankeng ground cracks

First, take an extra-long sightseeing elevator from the top of the mountain to the bottom.
There are three naturally formed holes and sinkholes here.
There are also various shapes formed by mountain gaps
Very magical

This is the scene from "A City Full of Golden Armor"

Wulongshui Gorge Ground Fissure

The Shuixia ground fissure was formed by orogeny tens of millions of years ago.
When walking underground, the temperature is very low. Be sure to add layers of clothing.
You will see small waterfalls and water flowing out of nowhere

Chongqing is such a spiritual and emotional city
There is the prosperity of the city and the beautiful scenery of the ancient city.
I hope I can share it with more people to experience this city.
"I am willing to fulfill your cherished past. I just want you to find the passion that makes you like you, and then drag myself to the mountain city to live in seclusion, but you are waiting for me at the end and live in your heart." ——"From Yours" Passing by the whole world》
