Driving from Shanghai to Nanjing, it takes about five hours to reach Lishui.
At the first stop, we checked in to the famous internet celebrity village - Shishanxia Village. With such an interesting name, don’t you think there are many secrets hidden here?
Shishanxia Village is located in Jingqiao Town, Lishui District. It is named after a stone mountain in front of the village. It is a five-star rural tourist area in Jiangsu Province. The village was founded in 1245 until now. With a history of more than 770 years, more than 100 families still live in the village, continuing the tradition. Along the winding mountain road and through the Fengxiang Ridge Scenic Area, a quaint traditional village appears in front of you.

In my impression, Internet celebrity places are always bustling with people and have very conspicuous entrances or facades. However, the appearance of Shishanxia Village is almost unexpected. It suddenly appears at the end of the road while walking, just like Tao Yuanming encountering the Peach Blossom Spring.
There are old brick and tile houses with roofs covered with unmelted white snow. The smoke rising from the windows is the first to greet visitors and tell them that there is someone here.

This Liu Clan Ancestral Hall looks inconspicuous from the outside. Who would have thought that it has a history of more than 200 years. It was first built in 1820 and is still intact today. The Liu Family Ancestral Hall has three entrances and three exits . It has a brick and wood structure, white walls and black tiles. It has a well-preserved thirteen Liu family genealogy originating from the Western Zhou Dynasty, recording the history here. It is said that the descendants of Zhongshan Wang Liusheng, who had the same clan as Liu Bei, moved here 600 years ago and formed a village. Because it is surrounded by mountains on three sides, especially the hills in the south, with exposed bluestones and rugged rocks, it is called Shishan, a village. Hence the name Shishanxia.

Seeing the sun setting in the west, we arrived at the hotel for dinner.
Takegami Yun thought, as soon as these four words came out, did they immediately make people think about it? The first night I stayed at the Takegami Yunxiang Hotel. Such a poetic name certainly has something to it. Hidden in the bamboo forest, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, return to a simple life. Here, you can completely slow down your pace, soak in a hot soup, completely relax your body and mind, and then taste the delicious food prepared by the chef using natural vegetables grown in the village. The fresh and natural taste will bring a new baptism to your taste buds.

The first day of 2021, the beginning of a new year, always has a sense of ritual. This time I chose to come to Lishui for the New Year’s Eve. One of the most important purposes is to participate in and experience the rural New Year’s flavor that started in advance. Not far from Zhushang Yunxiang is the Longyin Bay Ecological Park, where the New Year celebrations at the source of Qinhuai begin lila.

 

Longyin Bay Ecological Park, surrounded by mountains and rivers, is home to many crops. Here, you can pick tea in spring, fish for shrimp in summer, beat chestnuts in autumn, and dig water chestnuts in winter. Many interactive activities attract parents and children from all over the world. Come to check in and feel the joy of working, which has become one of the local characteristics of Lishui.

As soon as I entered the park, I felt a completely different atmosphere from the Shishanxia Village yesterday. Music and noises were heard one after another, and the lively atmosphere of the New Year enveloped the entire ecological park.

The next day, we stayed at Lishui Huaji Wuxiang Mountain Residence. After coming out of Longyin Bay, I went to Wuxiang Mountain Residence to check in, and then wandered around.
From "Thinking about the Clouds on Bamboo" to "Wuxiang Mountain Dwelling", they are all names full of poetic and picturesque meanings that arouse endless reverie. What kind of mountain dwelling life is a "wuxiang" state? What is this kind of experience of "thinking-free" life? With all kinds of questions and a "thoughtful" heart, I began to go deep into this "unthoughtful" mountain residence.

 

Driving into the Wuxiang Mountain Scenic Area, after a thousand turns, I saw this B&B village from a distance on the mountain. Traditional bluestone brick houses are scattered in the plains between the mountains, silent and isolated from the world. They seem to be a place forgotten by time, revealing simplicity and tranquility.

Driving along the way, it felt less like going to a hotel to stay, and more like going to an inconspicuous village in the mountains to visit an old friend who was living in seclusion in the countryside.

This time I came to Lishui, There is another important task - to participate in the 2021 Lishui The 4th Qinhuai Source Lantern Festival.
Nanjing The Qinhuai Lantern Festival is well-known. It attracts many tourists every year. The Qinhuai Lantern Festival is one of the first batch of national intangible cultural heritages, and is known as "the best lantern festival in the world" and "the most colorful Qinhuai lanterns in the world". The Qinhuai Lantern Festival is usually held from the Spring Festival to the Lantern Festival. However, this time, the Qinhuai Source Lantern Festival will light up the lights in advance on the first day of the new year to inherit the traditional culture and share the strong New Year atmosphere.

It was after five o'clock, and it was still not completely dark. The warm-up activities took the lead in igniting the atmosphere at the venue.
A square team composed of local villagers presented local characteristic cultural activities to the audience, showing the spirit of Lishui people and conveying the festive and joyful atmosphere of the festival.

 

The lighting of lanterns on the first night of the New Year really attracted many people to participate, and they really felt the lively atmosphere of the Qinhuai Lantern Festival in advance.

As I walked around the Shiqiu Film and Television Base, I felt as if I had transformed into a heroine. After leaving Shiqiu Film and Television Base, we continued to drive to the last stop of this Lishui trip - Shijiu Lake.
Shijiu Lake and Gucheng Lake are adjacent and both are part of the ancient Danyang Lake. "Shijiu Fishing Song" is one of the forty sceneries of New Jinling.

In Lishui, among the farmhouses in the mountains, in the B&Bs in the woods, in the New Year celebrations, in the New Year lights, by the mirror of the sky, in the European style, time seems to be blocked as if it is isolated from the rest of the world.
