sequence

This is my first time writing a travel journal. I don’t know if I need to organize it carefully if I start. However, on a whim, I started it when I couldn’t sleep in the middle of the night...

We agreed to take our employees on a trip this year, but we finally chose April, when business is slow. Xishuangbanna is a place I have always wanted to visit. When I talk about Xishuangbanna, I always think of that childhood song: "Beautiful Xishuangbanna, I can't keep my father." In April, I finally went.

I read a lot of guides before leaving, and finally decided to go to Jinghong first, because for a foodie, it is really great to live next to the night market.

Set off

However, because we left on the afternoon of April 4, we only drove to Zhaotong that day and chose to stay in Zhaotong City. As soon as we got off the highway, my daughter was so excited. , because I saw a large area of apple trees.

(There are no apple trees in the photo, please forgive me, ) The sky is also very blue. This is the first time for everyone to go, so we are very excited. Because we have just arrived at the Sichuan border, the food is similar to Leshan.

Jinghong City

We set off early the next day, with two cars and two and a half drivers (I can only count half). My husband was driving along the way. He was really tired, but I only drove two. Hours later (I received a text message after I got home that I was speeding on the section I was driving. I still don’t understand it. I was driving behind, how could I be speeding? ) I arrived in Jinghong City in the evening

We chose a relatively high-rated and cheaper inn on Baidu Nuomi to stay. The owner was very nice. As soon as we got there, he consulted us about our itinerary for the next few days. Daluo Port ~ Jino Village ~ Wild Elephant Valley ~ Tropical Rainforest Valley

After arranging the itinerary, we went to find food and visit the nearby night market, Mekong Night Market.

There were so many delicious foods. I only heard my daughter’s screams along the way, but most of them were barbecue. I ate the pineapple rice that I wanted to eat the most.

Daluo Port

My husband said that if you don’t visit the border when you arrive in Xishuangbanna, your visit will be in vain, so the first stop we chose was Daluo Port.

I got up and drove straight to Daluo Port in two cars. I thought it wasn’t very far, but I didn’t expect it was already noon when I got there.

We saw a lot of banana trees along the way. It was the ripening season for bananas when we went there. There were too many, and there were many trucks loading on the roadside. Everyone in the car was very excited.

When we arrived at Daluo Port, the weather was so hot and sunny that a group of people felt as if they were about to go abroad. They were happy and excited. After the excitement was over, they were ready to go back. They only stayed there for an hour, but there It’s really nothing interesting. It’s actually just a door. You can see the gate of Myanmar at a glance. There were also many local tour guides who said they could apply for a temporary visa, but they could only take pictures at the gate of Myanmar, which cost 50 yuan per person. I thought it was too much, so I gave up.

The first thing I did when I walked back was to buy bananas. I thought they were too cheap. They cost 15 yuan for a bunch. My husband actually bought three big bunches. I was speechless. He said he bought greener ones and they would be ripe when he got home. I was walking around while walking, but I didn’t expect that the car wouldn’t fit in the car at the end, so I threw it away while walking. Thinking about it, I think I was just too excited at the time.

On the way, for some reason, my husband actually drove into a base for growing Dendrobium officinale. When we got out of the car, he said he was looking for Dendrobium officinale and was going to plant it. The manager immediately took us to visit their base.

The manager said that it is best to buy Dendrobium officinale, which has a film on the surface, so it is effective. The one in the first photo is ornamental.

When I left, I asked my husband why he went to the base of Dendrobium officinale? He said it was nothing, mainly because he was tired from driving and it was hot, so he went in to enjoy the coolness, and there was also free Dendrobium officinale tea to drink. The whole car laughed wildly. At that time, he even told the manager that we had a It’s a very big farmhouse and I want to plant Dendrobium officinale. Hey! I was really surprised by my husband’s eloquence and IQ!

In the evening, we talked to the owner of the inn and negotiated a ticket price of 300 per person. He took us to Jino Village ~ Wild Elephant Valley ~ Tropical Rainforest Valley in two days. Each scenic spot was led by a tour guide. If we go to these scenic spots by ourselves, it will be more expensive! The boss said that we went at the wrong time. If we go a few days later, it will be the Water Splashing Festival of the Dai people in Xishuangbanna. Alas! I really didn’t calculate the time well at that time.

In the vast tropical rainforest of Xishuangbanna, there lives the last recognized ethnic group in China - the Jinuo people, which means "descendants of uncle". Local legends say that in ancient times, floods submerged the earth, and only a pair of kind-hearted and brave siblings, Mahai and Manu, were protected and guided by immortals and survived. After various hardships and twists, they finally got married and formed Jino. ethnic group, so the children of this ethnic group call their father uncle.

These two are their ancestors and brothers and sisters.

When I was about to go down the mountain, I suddenly saw such a big jackfruit, because when we went there, it happened to be the time to eat jackfruit and coconut in Xishuangbanna.

In the afternoon we were going to go to the place my daughter wanted to go to the most ~ Wild Elephant Valley to see elephants

Wild Elephant Valley

Xishuangbanna is the only habitat for Asian elephants in China, and Wild Elephant Valley is the place where you can see wild Asian elephants at the quietest distance.

We were lucky enough to see a family of wild elephants playing in the water, which was really cute.

My daughter must go and sit on an elephant. It costs 20 yuan for a ride and a photo. Later I asked her how she felt and she said the elephant’s hair was so prickly.

I invited a beautiful woman up and asked the elephant to kiss her. I didn’t expect that she actually kissed her. I don’t know how that beautiful woman felt!

In addition to elephants, Wild Elephant Valley also has many animals!

Finally, let’s take a group photo. Please forgive the pixelation of my phone~~~~~

Tropical Rainforest Valley

When we went out in the morning, we were surprised to find a jackfruit tree opposite the inn where we were staying. It was full of jackfruit.

We were going to return this afternoon. The master said we wanted to go to Dali, so we changed our itinerary and went to Dali before going home. But the first thing we did before leaving was to go to the fruit wholesale market to purchase fruits. The innkeeper was very enthusiastic to take us there. , I bought a lot of pineapples, jackfruits, and mangoes, and I couldn’t fit them in two cars. I found that every time I went on a trip, I just bought and bought all the way, !

Tropical Rainforest Valley

The guy on the left is the handsome guy in our store. When he entered the yard, he was attracted by the little girl next to him. She made a joke and insisted on keeping him. She kept hugging him and wouldn't let him go. The handsome guy was frightened at that time. Now Thinking about it, I really regret that I didn't take a photo of that scene. I just laughed. My daughter was also frightened and said she was afraid of the savages inside. The tour guide said that they couldn't speak and only said "Huha" to them to welcome them. , but you can't say "haha" to them, that means challenging them.

The tropical rainforest valley we went to last was not very interesting. We originally planned to go to Wangtianshu, but Wangtianshu was too far away from where we lived, so we chose to give up.

In the afternoon, we are preparing to return to Dali, Yunnan. I feel that self-driving travel is so good. You can bring a lot of things with you. Because there are car accessories, you can go wherever you want and stop whenever you want.

I randomly found an inn to stay at that night. It seemed that I was staying in some county in front of Jingdong. In fact, I don’t recommend taking this route. The road is too narrow and there are many bends. The car can’t go too fast, so It takes more than 10 hours to drive from Xishuangbanna to Dali. Alas, I was drunk too!

Day 5.6.7.8

We met a road repairman not far after setting off in the morning. After asking many people, we found out that we could take the old road. However, we were not far from the old road. We were the car in front and the master's car was behind. As soon as we overtook him, we heard the car behind us. The sound of collision, alas, this trip is basically over. But fortunately, everyone is fine. I stayed in Jingdong for two days and didn't go there. Everyone is not in the mood to go!

On the eighth day, we finally arrived in Dali. With good luck, we encountered March Street in Dali, which was crowded with people. It is said that it is a very important festival for the Bai people in Yunnan.

Day 9

Take a look at Erhai Lake

The trip was over and it was time to return. Because the master's car was damaged, he had to leave it at the 4S shop in Dali for repair. The master and his wife took a plane back to their hometown, and we returned to Leshan in one car.
