Written in front: In the year of Gengzi, little M has walked to Meilin Back Mountain N times. He and Uncle Pingfan have walked through the brain many times and found a sign indicating the route to Longhua. The two of them wanted to try it many times, so they decided to go there. The difference basically crosses north and south. On September 19th, I planned to travel home to Longhua with my fellow countryman Uncle Xia. Because I took the wrong route, I newly unlocked the Meilin Reservoir-Greenway Iron Gate-circling back to the Greenway route. In the afternoon of the same day, I went to the Music Park and the Central Park for a test flight with my brother Chu Ge. The drone also laid the route for the north-south crossing of Meilin Mountain. On September 26th, I gathered my friends again to complete the north-south crossing of Meilin Mountain. I specially used this article as a travelogue and guide.

Meilin Reservoir

Recommendation index: ★★★★★

Meilin Reservoir is located in the northwest of Xiameilin Village, Futian District, Shenzhen City. It has a total storage capacity of 13.09 million square meters and a rainwater collection area of 4.26 square kilometers. It is surrounded by green mountains on three sides and remains beautiful. In order to meet the sightseeing and leisure needs of tourists and citizens, Shenzhen City and Futian District Government invested in the construction of Meilin Mountain Park in 2003, making the area around the reservoir a tourist highlight in Shenzhen.

The dam of Meilin Reservoir is suitable for shooting sunset silhouettes, time-lapse photography, and literary films. There are many people walking and leisurely in the early morning and evening.

Meilin Reservoir, formerly known as Maxie Reservoir, was expanded from the Upper and Lower Maxie Reservoirs. The Upper Horse Reservoir was completed in June 1956, and the Lower Horse Reservoir was completed in February 1960. In 1991, in order to alleviate the tight water supply situation in Shenzhen, the Masie Reservoir began to expand and was completed to its current size in 1994.

There is a greenway halfway up the mountainside of Meilin Reservoir. The very classic greenway stone road leads to Xili in Nanshan District and Yinhu Mountain in Luohu District on the left and right respectively.

Meilin Mountain Park

Recommendation index: ★★★★★

In Meilin Mountain Park, the conventional mountain trails include Meilin Country Trail and Shenzhen Hiking Trail. For detailed guides on country trails and hiking trails, see previous guides.

[Outdoor Guide] So you are like this Meilin Back Mountain Country Trail

[Travel Notes] Take the Meilin Mountain Country Trail at your fingertips

[Travel Notes] A trip to Meilin Tanglang in the misty rain

The entrance to the north-south crossing route that Little M took this time is from the greenway on the reservoir to the right. There is an iron gate management office on the left hand side (which is also the exit from the Big Brain Mountain). If your character is not too bad, the security guard will agree to open the door. , if the door is not opened, there is a place where the barbed wire has been cut a little further forward and you can enter.

The concrete road is less than 20 meters, and there is only one road up the mountain. Go to the uphill intersection toward the Brain Case. You don’t need to go up the Brain Case. Continue heading towards Longhua. When there is a fork in the road, turn left. Little M will be there for the first time. Go to the right and you will find the orchard. If you forcefully cross it, you will need to open the way first.

After passing the fork in the road, the road behind is not recommended because there are few people walking on it for a long time, and it is Road 1 built a long time ago. It is not recommended to take this route if it rains.

On the 19th, Little M encountered the highly venomous purple sand snake again on Meilin Mountain (the fifth time I saw a snake), and a large lizard with four claws about three fingers wide. It is strongly recommended to wear long pants and long sleeves to walk this road.

Following the signboard of the Blue Sky Rescue Team, it is easy to see the road leading to Feilaishi up the mountain and go straight.

Feilaishi is the highest point of this trip, and the east-west direction of Feilaishi is the Shenzhen hiking trail from the brain case to the graffiti wall. Next to the Feilai Stone is the White Eyebrow Stone. As for why it is called the Feilai Stone, Xiao M guessed that it is because the stone is placed on another stone in the shape of a flying roly-poly. The White Eyebrow Stone next to it is occasionally guarded by forest rangers.

Behind the flying rocks towards Longhua, in the shadow of the mountain, the road surface is basically gravel, and there is basically no grass attached to the soil surface. It is basically OK to pay attention to anti-skid during the descent.

Just before descending to Niuzui Reservoir, there is a gas station with restrooms and mineral water for sale. The security uncle is very friendly to Little M and his group. He has a kitten that is about two months old. Little M couldn't help but remember that there was a tabby cat in my hometown almost 20 years ago, and it gave birth to several litters. When the litter was small, the cat would go out to look for food (occasionally, it would be seen returning with a small mouse in its mouth). Nowadays, the cat has transformed into many cities. The person's pet has lost its instinctive ability to catch mice.

After passing the gas station, you will soon see the overpass of the Nanping Express Line. Under the bridge is the Niuzui Reservoir. Continue along Tusha Road to the end and turn right to Jinlong Road. You will pass the police dog base and a group of dogs bark. For those who are afraid of dogs, they still have a sense of fear in their hearts and they can't help but speed up their pace to escape. The dogs no longer stop walking out of the police dog dormitory. bark. When you see the PetroChina gas station, it is the exit. The iron gate here may be closed. You can climb over the small slope on the left. However, Little M and his party were very lucky. Just as they were about to climb over the wall, a construction truck entered and opened the door. Opposite was the Baishilong Music Park.

Baishilong Music Park

Recommendation index: ★★★★★

Baishilong Music Park is under the jurisdiction of Minzhi Street, Longhua District. It borders Xinqu Avenue to the east, Jinlong Road to the southwest, Jinqiao Street to the north, and is close to Exit B of Baishilong Station of Metro Line 4. It covers an area of about 116,000 square meters. The park started construction at the end of 2015 and was officially opened on January 30, 2019. The park is Shenzhen's first ecological music theme park with themes of green humanity, contemporary background, and music development, integrating "music culture, popular science education, interactive entertainment, and ecological leisure." It is very suitable for filming, walking with the kids, and walking. There are few people. Highly recommended.

In September, the park is close to the large yellow flowers on Jinlong Road. I took the pipeline route to the park. It was already 12:00 noon. Little M started to organize a break, sitting on the lawn to rest and share lunch. Lang Li and Kangli, who live near Baishilong, also Join the army smoothly.

The entire park is related to music. The trumpet-shaped building is hollowed out with Shenzhen-specific keywords, and the foundation is covered with song titles related to Shenzhen.

This red arch bridge connects the performance and speakers at the front and back.

The slightly weird-shaped viewing platform is not open for some unknown reason. You can get a closer look at the Shuixieshan villas and western-style buildings next to Niuzui Reservoir.

From the corridor of the violin-shaped building, you can see the three-color drawing board shape below, where children play with the sand from time to time.

On the violin building, there is a statue of Beethoven, which looks like a violin when viewed from above and is surrounded by pink foxtail grass. It is also very good to take pictures in September.

The main entrance of the park is Zhiyin Square, with sculptures of mountains and flowing water depicting Zhong Ziqi and Boya. The theme of the "Bai Shilong Music Park" is in the shape of orchestral instruments.

Outside the square, there are some music-related melodies, beats, and rhythms, which are full of creativity.

North Station Central Park

Recommendation index: ★★★★★

North Railway Station Central Park is located in the West Square of Shenzhen North Railway Station, covering an area of approximately 175,900 square meters. It is divided into four areas including image display area, communication activity area, vitality sports area, and natural mountain forest area. It has Shuying Square, water There are 14 scenic spots including Curtain Square, Landscape Square, and Starlight Lawn. The park integrates ecology, leisure, sports and humanities, and is open, simple and exquisite. It was actually opened in 2020. Currently, the talent greenway has not been fully delivered, and the stadium, Genting Book Bar, etc. may not have been put into use due to the epidemic. It is suitable for nearby residents to walk with their children and take photos. It is not a good place to check in while catching a train at the North Station. The only regret is that because it has just opened, the trees are not yet tall, so you need to pay attention to sun protection during the day.

Walking through Yixiu Park (I haven’t explored it in detail, it seems that the characteristics are not distinctive enough), I passed by a small store to replenish supplies, and caught a cat alive. It was not afraid of people at all. When I felt Little M reaching for the camera, I only opened my right eye to take a look, and then continued sleep.

On the 19th, I and Brother Chu Ge planned to shoot a time-lapse before sunset, but the actual weather was not good. The main entrance is in the direction of the North Station, which is suitable for time-lapse sunset photography on the sky promenade.

There is a shallow beach in front of the aerial promenade, which is suitable for shooting reflections in a mirror environment.

The sky corridor is folded in multiple curves, giving it a strong sense of hierarchy, and the linked book bar in the cloud is a bit like a gourd.

The Talent Greenway, from 1978 to 2018, narrates major events and policy implementation related to Shenzhen’s talent, and chronicles the major events of the 40 years of reform and opening up. Across the greenway is Qunxian Square (where you can play badminton wildly), and behind it is a larger library, which is not yet open for use.

There are some steps on the hillside behind the Talent Greenway, which are suitable for walking around and taking photos, but some of them are not yet fully operational.

After walking around the greenway, continue towards Shanshui Plaza and towards the parking lot.

The archway in the North Station Central Park has a simple shape, bright colors and a prominent sense of spatial hierarchy. It is very necessary to do it again when there is music and lighting.

After visiting the North Railway Station, I was going to go to the nearby Guo Xiaochu Hubei Restaurant to eat Hubei cuisine. I passed by the North Railway Station and waited for a train to pass by.

The Hongrongyuan·Xiyuan Mountain Courtyard behind it is too domineering, facing Yulong Road. I lament that the location is perfect, but ING bravely flies over the mountain courtyard.

When I arrived at Guo Xiaochu at 15:30, I found that the chef was off duty and had to wait until 17:00 to go to work. I took care of my Cantonese friends and chose Hainan Coconut Chicken. The jellyfish shreds were slightly spicy for my uncle. It was so spicy that he had to drink water.

Write at the back: As the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival are approaching, little M has to prepare to travel through the eastern section of Nyenchen Tanglha Mountain, so he worked overtime to complete this travelogue, which is a bit simple. There are originally many one-day routes in the city, and perhaps many of the park names in this article may have never been visited by many friends who have been in Shenzhen for many years. I call on everyone to go out with their friends to discover the beauty of this city and become a person who loves life.
