Dayang Town is located on the top of Jinyun, with an average altitude of more than 800 meters. It has a pleasant climate, beautiful scenery, a forest coverage rate of 90.57%, and an extremely high average content of negative oxygen ions in the air. The average summer temperature is only 22.5°C. It is known as the "summer paradise" and is also a well-known health resort. The town is named after the "Dayang Mountain" within its territory. Dayang Mountain, with an altitude of 1,500.6 meters, is the highest peak in the Kuocang Mountains. With its strange peaks and deep valleys, it is very popular among traveling enthusiasts and astronomy enthusiasts. There are two canyons at the southwest foot of Dayang Mountain. One is Linlaokeng, which goes up from Jinyun Golden Village and flows through Xiameiliao. At the confluence of the villages, there is the Jinlong Hydropower Station, with Jinlong Reservoir above and Jinkeng Reservoir below. The two canyons are natural and uncarved. The riverbed is covered with flat and smooth boulders, spotless, and the stream is crystal clear, like emerald water or glass water. –Reprinted from Jinhua Dayan

Edit after the event

Self-driving route: Jinyun-Dayang-Liaokeng-Zhangliao Village. The car stopped at Jinyun Zhangliao.

Zhangliao Village - Hiking on the mechanized road to Linlao Natural Village - Jinlong Hydropower Station - Going down the stream to the second pool - Returning to Linlong Hydropower Station via the original route - Hiking back to Zhangliao Village

The track I took actually started from Zhangliao on foot to Linlao Natural Village and Jinlong Hydropower Station and started tracing the stream. I walked up more than 1 km and only visited 2 pools before returning to Jinlong Hydropower Station on the same route and hiking back to Zhangliao. (Actually, you can continue going forward to the third pool. Considering the time factor, I didn’t go forward. The original plan was to take a circular route up the river and get off the ancient road)

Suggestion: If you drive from the direction of Qingtian, you can navigate to Jinlong Hydropower Station to Jinkeng Reservoir and start tracing the river directly. Or stop at Jinyun Huanghuang Village and take the ancient trail to Jinlong Hydropower Station, which is about 10 kilometers back to Huanghuang Village.

The following plan was made before departure and has not been completed.

Plan 1 before departure: Zhangliao - take the mechanical plowing road to Linlao Natural Village (3.70km) - go down the water in Linlao pit and trace the stream (3.0km) - walk back to Linlao on the ancient road - take the mechanical plowing road back to Zhangliao

A Canyon: Linlaokeng Canyon

The total distance is 11.5km, estimated to be 7 hours

Plan 2: Zhangliao → mechanical farming road → Linlao → ancient road → Linlao pit → go down the river and trace the river → Linlao → continue to trace the river to Jinlong Dam → Zhangliao

Two canyons: Linlaokeng + Jinlong Canyon

The whole journey is 12km and takes about 8 hours.

Qingtian Linlao Village is a small village with inconvenient transportation. Based on the actual situation, such a route was planned. Starting from Zhangliao Village in the morning, we walked on a mechanized road for about 3.7 kilometers. Went down the stream from Linlao Village, then followed the stream for 3 kilometers to the ancient road, and took the ancient road for 2 kilometers back to Linlao Village. Take a 3-kilometer trail up the Jinlong Gorge to the canyon or take a 4-kilometer mechanical plowing road back to the parking point, Zhangliao Village.

Jinhua Dongfang Yanshun, it is recommended: Zhangliao → mechanical plowing road → Linlao → ancient road → Linlao pit → go down the river and trace the stream → Linlao → continue to trace the river to the bottom of Jinlong Dam → Zhangliao

Wenzhou Chen Changsheng: Cars in the direction of Qingtian can drive to Linlao Village and navigate to Jinkeng Reservoir. Then drive along the Jinkeng Reservoir tractor road for 1 kilometer and you will find a cement road directly to Lin Lao
