"There are many beautiful colors in Lingshan, and the air and water are dense. "

——The scenery of Lushan Mountain is so magnificent, the smoke, clouds and water vapor merge into one.

How many literati and poets visited Lushan Mountain and left thousands of exquisite poems, describing the steepness, beauty, grandeur and elegance of Lushan Mountain... This travel note will take you to visit Lushan Mountain in depth.

Jiujiang City is at the foot of Mount Lu.
My hometown is in a county under Jiujiang City, more than an hour's drive from the city.

The first time I climbed Mount Lushan was in July of the year I graduated from high school. A group of high school classmates and I went to the scenic spot to avoid the entrance fee. We agreed to climb the mountain via the "Hero's Slope" and take a shortcut into the scenic area. When we spent 4 hours climbing to the top, the shortcut had been "blocked", presumably to prevent us;

The second time I went to Lushan Mountain was probably during the summer vacation of 2002. I went with my family and friends and took an acquaintance’s car. What attractions did we visit that day? I don’t remember it anymore, so I can only look for the photos that were developed that year;

In 2016, 4-year-old Guoguo was sent back to her grandparents’ house for the summer vacation. On the way back to Shenzhen, she “led” Guo’s dad up to Mount Lushan to let him see the scenery in the mountains (Guo’s dad was used to the mountains in the northwest, and at that time he couldn’t imagine Lushan Mountain. What kind of city is there?), 3 days and 2 nights and only visited a few major attractions, just to check in and come here;

This time, it was my fourth time to go to Lushan Mountain, and I embarked on a 6-day and 5-night in-depth family tour with the original team of last year’s "Yangtze RiverThree Gorges Tour".

The itinerary was decided only half a month before the summer vacation. Because of the epidemic, I don’t dare to travel far. Jiujiang is not far from Shenzhen. The key is to be familiar with the place. After all, it is also considered "my territory" .
On July 11th, the first day of summer vacation, our family trip began.
The best way to get to Lushan is train, sleep in a bunk for one night, and arrive at Jiujiang Station early the next morning. After leaving the station, take a taxi directly to Lushan Cableway (Taxi does not use the meter, you can bargain, the journey takes about 40 minutes). Purchase scenic spot tickets, cableway tickets and sightseeing tickets (real-name system) at the Lushan Cableway ticket hall. The whole cableway journey takes 15 minutes.
You can also take a bus from the bus terminal to Lushan via Beishan Highway. The cost is cheaper than the ropeway, but it takes longer, at least an hour or more (Jiujiang Railway Station - Jiujiang Bus Terminal - Lushan Bus Station).
For short-distance self-driving, you can also go up the mountain via the Beishan or Nanshan Highway. In addition to the tickets purchased by the person, the vehicle also charges a fee of 45 yuan per vehicle.

For family trips, the ropeway is the most convenient and hassle-free way to go up the mountain.
When you climb into the air, the entire Jiujiang City is visible to your eyes; the Lushan Yunwu Tea Garden is neatly arranged in rows under your feet; the blue sky and white clouds in the distance complement each other and the rolling mountains complement each other perfectly.
The two most critical aspects of travel are transportation and accommodation.
After talking about transportation, the next step is hotel accommodation.
When choosing a better hotel in Lushan, you still need to put some thought into it: it should be close to the sightseeing bus station, which is convenient for taking the bus ; it should not be too far from the main street, which is convenient for eating and shopping; and it should be a bit "classy", so that it is not noisy Get stillness. Based on the impression from the previous trip to Mount Lu, after narrowing down several areas, I finally chose the "Yuetong Village" in the villa health care area.

Due to the epidemic and the continuous rain for half a month, some sections of the Beishan Highway collapsed, resulting in the blockade of the South and Beishan Highways. It was the peak summer season, and there were very few tourists. The heavy damage to the tourism industry was really felt this time. .
Whether it's hotel accommodation, eating or shopping , or even traveling among various attractions ..., we have taken advantage of everything.
The entire trip costs about 4,000 yuan for one person and one person.
Attached is a basic fee schedule:

The rain that lasted for half a month in Jiujiang also stopped with our arrival.
During the 6 days we were in Lushan Mountain, the weather was just right, cloudy, and the sun occasionally showed its face; walking on the street, the cool wind blew by, a bit like the rhythm of autumn; walking in the mountains , is accompanied by clouds and mist (it is said that there are more than 200 days of clouds and mist in a year), a summer resort that lives up to its reputation .

Jinxiu Valley, Sandiequan, Shimen Stream, Longshou Cliff, Huanglong Pond, and Wulong Pond are temporarily closed due to potential safety hazards caused by long-term rainfall.
According to my "experience", the tour route starts from the west line attractions.
West line attractions : Huajing, Ruqin Lake, Jinxiu Valley, Xianren Cave, Datianchi, Longshou Cliff, Shimen Stream, Power Station Dam...
East route attractions : Meilu, old villas, Lushan Conference site, museum, Mao Zedong Poetry Garden, Lulin Lake, Sanbaoshu, Huanglongtan, Wulongtan, Hanpokou, Botanical Garden, Dakou Waterfall, Wulaofeng, Sanbao Diequan...
Day1 (July 12)

Checked into the hotel at around 9 a.m. and made some adjustments. Near noon, we walked to the first stop: Guling Town.
Guling Town is located on the mountainside of Lushan Mountain, surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing a valley on one side. It is the center of tourism reception in Lushan Mountain.

After finishing lunch in town, take a sightseeing bus from "Huiyuan Intersection Station" to "Huajing Station".
You can visit such as Qin Lake and Huajing at this station, and the entrance to Jinxiu Valley is also here.
Ruqin Lake, built in 1961, is named after the lake is shaped like a violin.
(The aerial photography angle is not adjusted properly. The key is that the "flying technology" is not mastered enough, and I am worried that the drone will fall into the lake)

Flower Path , a path full of flowers.
It is said that when the great poet Bai Juyi was the Sima of Jiangzhou (Jiujiang), he went to Dalin Temple with his friends. It was late spring at that time, and the peach blossoms under Mount Lushan had withered, but the peach blossoms here were in bud, as if it was early spring again. In February, he was attracted by the spring scenery in front of him and was filled with emotion. He casually recited a seven-character quatrain:
The beauty of April in this world is gone,
The peach blossoms in the mountain temple begin to bloom.
Ever regretful that there is no place to return in spring,
I don’t know where to turn into this.
Bai Juyi was so interested in admiring peach blossoms that he later wrote the word "Huajing". Later, people called the place where Bai Juyi admired peach blossoms "Bai Sima Huajing".
This time I was with my children, and I finally found out that "Peach Blossoms at Dalin Temple" came from this place.
In the past few trips, the people traveling with me were different and they looked at things in different ways. It was really just a quick glance.
(Bai Juyi Thatched Cottage, the stream is gurgling, and the birds are playing happily )

Datianchi , take the bus from "Huajing Station" to "Datianchi Station" , get off and go to Datianchi. All the way is a gentle road with trees It is shaded and a pleasant place to travel; The Great Tianchi was originally the release pond of Tianchi Temple, but now it has become a place for tourists to "throw coins to pray". The attractions are ordinary, See Mount Lu from a different angle ; What leaves behind memories are the songs we left on this road. (This situation often happened in the next few days. We were the only ones wherever we went, and we made "loud noises" without any scruples)

"Jungle Slide Car" is an item I accidentally discovered while waiting for the bus at "Datianchi Station". The starting point is Xianren Cave and the end point is Datianchi. Two people and one car travel through the jungle. The play index is three stars. If you brake suddenly in the middle, the car will stop halfway. If you want to drive again, you need a "push" from the car behind; in order not to affect the "driving speed" of the other two friends ", I took the initiative to delay. When I slid into a corner, the braking force was a bit strong and the car stopped moving for an instant (at this time, I imagined a flock of crows flying overhead...). The friends in front should have almost reached the finish line. , and there was no car coming from behind. Fortunately, the staff gave me a mobile phone number before departure, which came in handy... Not long after, the staff's car came over and gave me a "boost" before reaching the finish line smoothly.

Day2 July 13

The scenic spots on the east route include Pokou, Dakou Waterfall, and Wulao Peak . This day is a test of your foot strength, as you go up and down every peak. It is best to travel light and prepare some dry food for lunch, or have a bowl of "boiling water instant noodles" at the canteen at the scenic spot.
Today's first stop is Dakou Waterfall . After rain, a colorful rainbow will appear at Dakou Waterfall. It is also called "Rainbow Waterfall". This waterfall is a tourist attraction developed later. There is an additional fee. You can take the sightseeing bus directly. To get to "Dakou Waterfall Station", you can also take the ropeway at Hanpokou, a different route and a different scenery.
Although this waterfall is not the one in Li Bai's "Viewing the Waterfall at Mount Lu", the scenery here is magnificent and beautiful. Looking up at the waterfall, you will also feel With the majestic momentum of "The waterfall drops three thousand feet straight down, as if the Milky Way falls from the sky", the immortal poet really did not deceive me.
Li Bai's "Looking at the Lushan Waterfall" describes the "Kaixian Waterfall" located on the Xiufeng Peak of Mount Lu, also called "Xianfeng Waterfall". The "Xianglu" in the poem refers to Xianglu Peak in the Xiufeng Scenic Area.
The incense burner produces purple smoke in the sunshine,
Looking at the waterfall Kagemae River from a distance.
Flying down three thousand feet,
It is suspected that the Milky Way has fallen into the sky.

Hanpokou , overlooking Dahanyang Peak in the south and Wulao Peak in the north, it looks like a big-mouthed whale swallowing the water of Poyang Lake in the east, so it is named Hanpokou. Climb up to the "Plowshare Point", stand high and see far; the clouds and mists disperse, and you can have a panoramic view of the lakes and mountains. Hanpo Pavilion is also the best place to watch the sunrise.
Along the Hanpo Pavilion to the west, there is a downhill road that leads directly to the Lushan Botanical Garden. It is said that the botanical garden is beautiful in spring, so we checked in at the door and took a bus to the "Wulaofeng Station".
Wulaofeng , the five peaks side by side, look like five old men sitting on the ground, so they are named "Wulaofeng". Looking from Hanpokou, it looks like an old man lying down, as described by the tour guide, with a lot of the same chin, mouth, bridge of nose, eyes, and forehead. Among the five peaks, four are the highest and three are the most dangerous. They are full of strange rocks and strange rocks. It takes three hours to walk down all the five peaks, walking back and forth in the clouds and mist. It is like entering a "wonderland". Children can run fast because of their physical strength, but their field of vision is limited due to the clouds and mist. , bursts of "wolf howling" to judge the distance between each other; due to lack of time, we returned to the original route after reaching the highest peak, the fourth peak.
Today’s itinerary is a classic one-day trip to Mount Lushan.

Day3 July 14

The mountain climbing the day before was destined to be "painful and happy" in the next few days. Thanks to the temporary closure of Jinxiu Valley, Sandiequan... or visiting these scenic spots immediately, it would be even more physically demanding.
On this day, we still started to visit the scenic spots on the east line, Lulin Lake, Sanbaoshu, Huanglong Temple, Lushan Museum, Mao Zedong Poetry Garden, and the former site of the Lushan Conference ; after taking a bus to the "Lulin Lake Parking Lot Station", The day's journey began.
After getting off the bus, walk back and you will see Lulin Lake. Lulin Lake is an artificial lake built in 1955. It is also the main water source for residents of Guling Town, Lushan; in winter Lulin Lake, the trees on the lakeside are covered with rime, making the scenery even more unique.

Go down the stairs next to Lulin Bridge to reach Sanbao Tree and Huanglong Temple. Sanbao Tree is named after three ancient trees, one ginkgo and two cryptomeria trees. , four hundred years old; these three trees were planted in front of Huanglong Temple and are known as the "treasures of the temple". Going further down from Sanbaoshu, you can reach Huanglongtan and Wulongtan. Due to the previous days of rain, they were temporarily closed and inaccessible (This road continues until you finally reach the terminus of the west line, "Power Station Dam Station". Continuing down from this station, you can go to the Suspension Bridge and Shimen Stream, and you can also take a bus at this station to visit other west line attractions) .

After Sanbaoshu turns back, you can return to the "Lulin Lake Parking Lot Station" through another uphill road. Unexpectedly, just after walking a few steps, a monkey appeared. It was not afraid of people at all. It followed us all the way and looked at whether the people passing by had food in their hands. Be ready for a "sneak attack" at any time. As we went up, there were more and more monkeys, and it felt like we had mistakenly entered a "monkey nest". In the woods next to us, monkeys were swinging on the branches, and a few were walking in front of us, as if giving us " It was like "clearing the way"; a mother and her son walked towards each other, both holding ice cream in their hands. At this time, a female monkey held her baby monkey and slowly approached them along the roadbed. After our reminder, the two of them did not hesitate. Hesitantly threw away the ice cream, but soon after he said it, the two monkeys sped up and "picked up" the ice cream in an instant. The monkey who picked up the chocolate flavor had a look of disgust on his face, probably because he didn't like it. The taste of chocolate was lost after adding it twice. The one who picked up the taste of milk hugged the baby monkey and ran to a place where no one would disturb him to taste it carefully and enjoy it alone.
This trip is comparable to watching monkeys in the zoo, it’s thrilling!
Leave "Monkey Mountain" and walk along the north side of Lulin Lake. You will arrive soon. Lushan Museum This is where Mao Zedong lived during his stay in Lushan, also known as "Lulin No. 1 Villa". The villa was built in 1961 and turned into a museum in 1984. The environment in the courtyard is beautiful, with trees growing A few tourists sat around a stone table in the courtyard to enjoy the cool and chat.
Diagonally opposite the museum is the Mao Zedong Poetry Garden, established to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Mao Zedong's birth.
Leave the Poetry Garden and walk all the way to the former site of the Lushan Conference . The old site was built in 1935 and completed in 1937. After the founding of New China, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held three important meetings here: the 1959 CCP The Eighth Plenary Session of the Eighth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Central Work Conference in 1961 and the Second Plenary Session of the Ninth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in 1970; the venue on the second floor still maintains its original appearance at the Second Plenary Session of the Ninth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in 1970.
Next to the former site of the Lushan Conference is Lushan Anti-Japanese War Museum. The museum mainly introduces the important position of Lushan in the second cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party and the history of China’s Anti-Japanese War.

Day4 July 15

Every day at dawn, Chen Ma goes out for a walk.
Today's itinerary was something she had planned out early in the morning. She didn't have to go far, it was just around the hotel.
Going down the steps from the side entrance of the hotel are Lushan Poetry Museum, Lushan Stone Carvings Museum, Lushan Geological Museum and Lushan Religious Culture Museum.
The Lushan Poetry Museum covers a small area but is rich in content. The majesty of the mountains, the beauty of the peaks and valleys, the wonder of the springs and waterfalls, the magic of the clouds and snow, the tranquility of the scenic spots, the depth of the temples and monasteries, the uniqueness of the scenery, and the fun of living in the mountains " is the sequence, starting from the past dynasties Nearly 100 excellent poems have been selected from the collection, accompanied by exquisite pictures and texts, and combined with multimedia interactive displays, making the museum " Lively but not boring We stayed in this small museum for more than an hour. The children showed what they had learned by reciting poems, identifying sentences with key points, and performing flying flower orders.
We stayed for a long time, and the museum administrator chatted with us about the poetry and beautiful scenery of Mount Lu, and recommended one of his favorite poems, especially the last sentence that touched him deeply. Maybe he has come into contact with many tourists, many of whom are part of the itinerary. In such a hurry, there is no time to see more beautiful scenery. I will come again when I have the chance.
Lushan Poetry
Zhu Yuanzhang (Ming Dynasty)
The bamboo shadows of Lushan Mountain last for thousands of years, and the water flows freely at the peak of cloud locks.
Thousands of miles of jade belt floats along the Yangtze River, and a bright moon rolls into a golden ball.
The road is three thousand states in the northwest, and it has the power to overwhelm millions of states in the southeast.
The beautiful scenery can't be seen for a while, and Tianyuan has the chance to come again.

Lushan Geological Museum and Lushan Religious Culture Museum were closed due to renovations and were not visited.
The Lushan Stone Carving Museum focuses on the stone carving culture of Lushan, interpreting the profound history and culture of Lushan from another perspective. The classic stone carvings in the scenic spots are all explained in detail with pictures and texts.

On the way to the "Old Villa", we passed by an officers and soldiers training ground. The hardware facilities are different from the sports equipment in the community. The children's curiosity should be tried. If they were not urged, this place would probably be able to play for most of the day.

The Story of the Old Villa is not far from the hotel and is opposite Deng Xiaoping's former residence. I originally wanted to visit the leader's former residence, but it may have been converted into a sanatorium and is not open to the public. I can only watch it at the gate.
The story of the old villas requires an additional fee. Several representative villas are available for tourists to visit. After entering, each person will be given an "explainer" to hear about the construction of Lushan Mountain, the origin of these villas, and some character stories, etc. Can gain more knowledge.

At lunch time, I learned that all temporarily closed attractions would be open that day, so I made an "urgent" adjustment to my afternoon itinerary. I originally planned to go from Sanbaoshu (children want to see monkeys again) - Huanglongtan (Wulongtan) - Power Station Dam - Suspension Bridge, and then from Xianren Cave through Jinxiu Valley to Huajing, but the trip suddenly became a bit tight. To be on the safe side, In the end, I decided to go to the power station dam and visit the scenic spots that I had not visited one by one.

After arriving at Power Station Dam, we took the cableway directly down to the "Suspension Bridge". When the cableway went down, there was a thick fog. When we arrived at the suspension bridge, the fog had not yet caught up. ", but in the blink of an eye, the bridge has been shrouded in heavy fog. Looking from a distance, it feels like entering a "horrorfog".
The fog came and cleared at that moment.
There is a road from the suspension bridge to Shimenjian, and a road to Longshou Cliff. Although the distance is less than two kilometers, it takes almost two hours to go down the mountain and back. At two different places, we gave up decisively and took the return ropeway back to the power station dam station.

From the other intersection of the power station dam, go to Wulong Pond and Huanglong Pond . You also come here to see monkeys, because Wulong Pond is the filming location of Water Curtain Cave in Journey to the West, and monkeys should be indispensable. .
There are two pools, one on the left and one on the right. When the children were playing in the Huanglong Pool, I sat on a stone bench to rest alone. "I'm most afraid of the sudden silence of the air..." A macaque approached me quietly (there was a macaque on the side of my backpack). bottle of water), when I found it, it was only two or three steps away from me. Fortunately, I had the experience of entering Monkey Mountain the day before, so I didn’t scream in fright. I stood up calmly, and did not dare to run away immediately, but took one step Moving one step away from it, this macaque's "sneak attack" ended in failure.
At this time, two tourists came. Miss thought that the monkey looked very cute. She took out a bag of potato chips from her bag and fed it one piece at a time. She had just eaten 3 or 4 pieces. , the monkey got angry (he couldn't eat enough pieces one by one), and grabbed the potato chips, his fangs grinned, and he looked a little scared.
Similarly, when playing in Wulongtan, I was "watched" by a group of monkeys. The thirty-six tactics were the best and I hurriedly evacuated.
Cherish life and stay away from wild animals.

Return to the power station dam along the original route and take the bus to the last stop of the day, Fairy Cave, Jinxiu Valley .
(A person in the distance is the “scene-stealer” )
"Lushan Immortal Cave" is a photographic work taken by Jiang Qing in 1961. Mao Zedong wrote a poem for it "Seven Wonders: Photos of Lushan Immortal Cave Photographed by Comrade Li Jin"
Looking at the strong pine trees in the dim dusk,
Flying through the chaotic clouds is still calm.
Born into a fairy cave,
Infinite scenery on dangerous peaks.

In the vast twilight, look at the strong green pine, which remains calm despite the rolling clouds and mist passing by; the fairy cave is naturally made, and its infinite scenery is on the precipitous mountain peaks. If you want to see the infinite beautiful scenery , must climb the most dangerous peak .

After passing the Immortal Cave and walking along the mountain trail, there is a beautiful valley of 1.5 kilometers, which is Jinxiu Valley . Valley is as its name suggests. The scenery along the way is as beautiful as a brocade scroll, with tall stone forests and natural cliffs. , cliffs, peaks and ravines are intoxicating. There is a huge stone in Jinxiu Valley, hanging out in the air, called the "Overpass" (about 200 meters from the entrance), which spreads the legend of the battle between Zhu Yuanzhang and Chen Youliang.

From Fairy Cave to Jinxiu Valley, after leaving the valley, there is a flower path.

The itinerary in the afternoon was very tight. In order to catch the last sightseeing bus, I didn't stay in Jinxiu Valley for a long time and went "rambunctious" all the way.

(In the evening, Ruqin Lake in the fog)

Day5 July 16

"If you don't visit Sandiequan, you are not considered a visitor to Lushan. "
Sandie Spring is one of the most famous scenic spots in Lushan Mountain. It is also known as the third-level spring and Shuilian Spring. "Kuanglu Waterfall, the most recommended Sandie Spring" is known as "the first wonder of Mount Lushan". The streams from Yueshan Mountain and Wulao Peak merge, flow out from Dayue Mountain, pass through the back of Wulao Peak, and pour into the big rocks through the cliff mouth of the North Cliff. Then they flow down to the second-level rocks, and then spray to the third-level rocks, forming three It is named after it is stacked. The total drop is 155 meters, which is extremely spectacular.

You have to pay a certain "price" if you want to see Sandie Spring. The altitude of Sandie Spring is 500 meters lower than that of Guling Town. To get to Lushan Scenic Area, you have to go down the mountain first, and there are more than 3,300 steps to climb back and forth. These steps are continuous and steep. It’s big and a great challenge for those with weak physical strength.
There is also a rail car in Sandiequan, which runs on the rails and has an oversized carriage (cost 80 yuan). But even if you take the rail car, you can't skip the 3,300 steps. Moreover, the scenery wherever the rail car passes is equally beautiful, all the way. "The spring water is tinkling" and the roads are all flat, so if you are not in a hurry, it is strongly recommended not to take a car.

Day6 July17

Today is the last day of the trip. The other two mothers got up early, walked from the hotel to Lulin Lake, and watched the sunrise by the way.

The train will return to Shenzhen in the afternoon, so reserve half a day to buy specialties and send postcards. If you have enough time, visit Meilu ; but plans can never change as fast as they should. When buying specialties, I couldn't bear the kindness of the landlady. I drank tea for a long time in the store and took a long time to send postcards. I chose postcards, souvenir stamps of scenic spots, refrigerator magnets, and wrote postcards... (It's best to do it in advance... Buy it, write it, and send it out on the last day).
I take the bus at "Meilu Station" every day and pass by the entrance of Meilu twice a day. I never go in, but but want to leave the nearest scenic spot for last...

Xiaotianchi, Wangjiang Pavilion, Shimen Stream, Longshou Cliff, Yangtianping, Xiufeng, Meilu, the movie Lushan Love... there are too many beautiful scenes left behind, and I will come back to watch them next time.
The beautiful scenery can't be seen for a while, and Tianyuan has the chance to come again.
