How to get to the island
Generally departing from Shanghai:
Notice! Self-driving: drive to Shenjiawan Pier and park in the parking lot of Shenjiawan Pier. The daily fee ranges from 50-70 yuan.
◇NO1: Shanghai Nanpu Bridge Long-Distance Passenger Transport Center (1.5 hours) → Shenjiawan Pier → Gouqi Island (about 2 hours) (dry inclined pier), it is a combined vehicle and ship ticket. The journey by car and boat lasts about 4 hours, so tourists who are motion-sick or seasick should prepare medicine.
◇NO2: Go to the Nanpu Bridge Passenger Transport Center at 6 o'clock and queue up to buy tickets. Tickets are very popular, so you must get up early. Tickets are officially on sale at 6:30, please allow time to queue up, there is usually a long queue.
Change the route to Nanpu → Shengsi Island (Lizhushan Pier), transfer within the island to Xiaocaiyuan Pier → Shengshan Island (Shengshan Pier).
Please note that the transfer fee from Shengsi Main Island is about 50 yuan per trip. The last boat sailing time from Xiaocaiyuan Pier to Shengshan Island is (11:50). Don’t miss the last boat.
