butterfly spring

Most tourists think that Butterfly Spring is the least scenic. If you don't go to watch butterflies during the butterfly gathering in April every year, it really has nothing particularly attractive. Some groups simply omit this attraction from their itineraries, and we only have one hour of free time here, so a place that doesn’t even use a tour guide seems not worth mentioning. But for me, apart from the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain that shocked my soul, Butterfly Spring was the most novel and happy place on my trip.

Although there were very few visitors to the Butterfly Spring in February and I didn't see a real butterfly when I entered, the various flowers and plants were colorful and eye-catching. After rushing up to Wanghai Pavilion in one breath, the Cangshan Mountain, Erhai Lake and fields in the distance are clearly layered and magnificent under the blue sky. I deeply feel that this hour's trip is well worth it.

Then I got really lucky. After coming down from Wanghai Pavilion, I walked towards the exit at will, and unexpectedly found two "mandarin ducks" in a green pool on the side of the road. They sometimes came close to each other and sometimes swam away, enjoying their play happily. Someone from behind shouted in surprise, "Look at the wild ducks!" I have never seen mandarin ducks, and I don’t know any wild ducks. It doesn’t matter, as long as I see them, they are beautiful.

There was a large shed next to the pool. I curiously looked inside. It turned out to be a greenhouse, and there were many butterflies dancing among the flowers. I was really overjoyed. I thought I wouldn't see real butterflies on this trip, but I didn't expect it to be so effortless. I walked carefully and slowly among the flowers, and the butterflies actually perched on my hair and clothes. I held my breath for fear of scaring away the butterflies, and tried my best to imagine that I was a flower, or a butterfly. Who said Butterfly Spring has no scenery? They don't have "love encounters" like me.

If I didn't have to "return to the team" on time, I would never leave that "wonderland". This feeling of not daring to laugh wildly for fear of scaring the butterflies away, yet being unable to suppress the ecstasy in my heart, has never been seen in other places.

For the first time, butterflies danced around me, and for the first time, butterflies treated me like a flower to rest on. What a wonderful feeling! Just because we met by chance, I didn't have time to take a photo of the butterfly perched on my body, which is a little regretful.

Where is the scenery of Butterfly Spring? It’s in our hearts that love beauty; it’s in our eyes that seek beauty; it’s in our most beautiful smiles.

I lost a lot of photos from my last trip to Yunnan. Are you looking for a reason to go there again?
