The breeders don't need to work today. We set out at eight o'clock in the morning to follow Brother Yin. Before leaving, Brother Zhou from Gansu discovered that "Xiaowo" might have a low tire pressure, and he enthusiastically helped to measure the tire pressure. I really echo what Brother Yin said, car lovers all over the country are one family, and we have received countless help from car friends along the way.

As soon as we left Mangshi, the navigation took us directly to a rural road. The road surface was narrow, the curves were sharp, and the slope was steep. I would say that the driver's license road test should be taken here. It only takes 50 meters and tests at the same time right-angle turns + half-slope start + narrow The road meets the car. The breeder stalled the engine several times on one of the ramps. It was not the breeder, but the little snail that stalled. My nervous palms were all sweaty.

There are beautiful scenery along the way, but unfortunately I never dare to stop. Unfortunately, the car windows are a bit dirty, so I can still see this one.

Fortunately, the journey was not long. At about 9:30, we arrived at Xiangda Town in Longling County. Xiangda means fortress in Dai language. The terrain here is dangerous and has been a battleground for military strategists since ancient times.

The two specialties here are fried vegetables and soaked chicken feet.

I was intimidated when I saw the locals again, but there were really many people buying them. It was true that "everyone has his or her own preference for radish and green vegetables."

They call sweet potatoes yams, and the loudspeaker keeps shouting "Roasted yams! Selling roasted yams!"

The sharp-eyed breeder discovered a blacksmith shop hidden in the yard, so he entered uninvited and started talking with the uncle of the blacksmith shop.

This uncle has been running this blacksmith shop for decades. Basically all the knives, farm tools and other iron tools in Xiangda Town are made by him.

The yard is filled with old steel plates removed from cars, which are raw materials for making knives, farm tools and other iron tools. The uncle said that there was little steel in the past, and they were reluctant to use steel to make iron tools. Only the blade part was made of steel, and the rest was made of soft iron. But now, steel is everywhere, but iron is hard to find, so now he has become a "steelsmith".

The knives made by Uncle focus on practicality. The main sales targets are local residents. The prices are also very cheap. A kitchen knife is 20 yuan and a hatchet is 40 yuan. They are cheap and high-quality, so the sales volume is very large. His craftsmanship remains an integral part of local residents' daily lives. Perhaps only in this way can the old craft of blacksmithing continue to maintain its strong vitality and be passed on continuously.

On the way home, I met several elder sisters who were showing each other the spoils of today’s “buy, buy, buy”.

There is also a haircut that only costs 5 yuan. This price goes back to when I was in elementary school...

Papa Ma’s tentacles are everywhere

We also came across a carpenter's shop. When we walked in and asked about the price, a chair was actually priced at 500 yuan. The boss thought highly of us!

This town has been listed as a key poverty-stricken town since 2006. It has been 12 years, and the shadow of "key poverty" can still be seen.

Goodbye, Xiangda Town!

At noon we stopped at a hydroelectric power station for more than two hours, surrounded by various plants they carefully cultivated.

In the afternoon, we encountered two road sections that collapsed during the rainy season, and they are still being repaired.

A calm Nu River

We finally arrived at Zhenkang County around eight o'clock, and quickly had a good meal to reward the breeders who had been driving all day.

On the way home, I saw a "Princess Road", which reminded me of a road sign called "Baby" on the road leading to Tacheng in Xinjiang. There should be more such warm and cute road signs.

A playful brother Chen...

The square dance here is quite unique, and it is a dance move that we usually only see at bonfire parties. And they didn’t have speakers. Everyone danced together to the rhythm played by the four people holding musical instruments in the row, and the steps were consistent. Most of them were young people.

Encountered "dark cuisine" again, hahaha! You must have never eaten... wild hawthorn mixed with chili noodles!

Yes, hawthorn! Can these two things be eaten together? !

I was a bit full just now and can’t eat anything anymore. I will definitely try it tomorrow night.

There are also mangoes and papayas that need to be eaten with salt and chili! The words of the older brother who gave me the "Ke Di Lao" in Tengchong were verified. Yunnan people have a special liking for hot and sour food, which is vividly reflected in the fruit snack of raw mango dipped in chili noodles.

Finally, here are two photos taken by the breeder of Brother Chen and me for everyone to complain about!
