In the morning, I ate the delicious donkey meat roasted specially sent by Brother Xu and drank the hot donkey meat soup. I felt warm in my heart all day long. I must thank Brother Xu. Although it was our first meeting, he treated us as warmly as old friends.

There is also a big bag of Burmese rice given by Brother Xu. Thinking about it, we are really happy. The riders we met along the way have provided us with a lot of help. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We will definitely pass on this enthusiasm to more people.

After more than 20 kilometers from Ruili, we saw the wonder of "a forest of single trees", lush and tall, as if they were standing there waiting for visitors from afar. Because the single tree forest is grown from a single banyan tree, Ruili people call it the "Welcoming Banyan Tree".

He is like a kind old grandfather, providing shelter from the wind and rain for the tourists who come here day after day, year after year.

The locals regard the banyan tree as a sacred tree and plant it without cutting it down. Therefore, the banyan tree accounts for the largest proportion of all tree species in Dehong. There are more than 600 large banyan trees that are over 100 years old.

In addition to banyan trees, you can also find traces of Buddha and lotus flowers in a pool of clear water. Legend has it that when the Buddha Sakyamuni was born, he immediately walked seven steps on the ground, and lotuses sprouted at every step. This story should be what I want to express here.

The red tassel flowers break through the greenery, and the velvet flowers are gorgeous, making people feel happy.

These two trees hugging each other are brothers, friends, or lovers.

"Little peacock, come to my arms!"

Burmese watermelons cost 15 yuan each, which is cheaper than the watermelons in Chengdu during the peak season.

After leaving the Dushu Forest Scenic Area and walking 12 kilometers further, you will reach Wanding Town. "Wanding" means "the sun is on top" in Dai language, and many people call Wanding "the place where the sun is on top".

This is the starting point of the Chinese section of the Stilwell Highway. It was the only lifeline of the Southwest during the Anti-Japanese War. It was also the first stop for Nanqiao mechanics who returned to China to fight against Japan.

There are thirteen exhibition halls in the cultural park, all of which are charged, and many of them are not open. We only went to a free exhibition hall on the top of the mountain.

Such jade-like stone tables and chairs are very common, so heroic!

Brother Chen was very good today. After a stalemate with me on the way up the mountain, he kept climbing by himself.

Finally reaching the top of the mountain, "Mom, I can rest!"

Seeing his little sister as a toddler, Brother Chen anxiously took his sister's hand and wanted to teach her to walk.

The Memorial Park for Nanqiao Engineers Returning to China to Fight against Japan is located in the Wanding National Forest Park on the top of the mountain. I felt a little uncomfortable, so I took Brother Chen to rest next to it while the breeder went to visit it alone.

The Nanyang Overseas Chinese Mechanics refers to the "Nanyang Overseas Chinese Mechanics Returning Service Group" composed of Chinese descendants from various Southeast Asian countries during the Anti-Japanese War. Under the call of Mr. Tan Kah Kee, they formed a team of more than 3,000 people. They were divided into about 9 batches and returned to China to support the Anti-Japanese War. They were mainly engaged in transportation and vehicle maintenance on the Burma Highway.

On the base of the statue of Mr. Tan Kah Kee, there are eight characters "Overseas Chinese Flag, National Glory" inscribed by Mao Zedong in Yan'an and handwritten by Deng Xiaoping for the Tan Kah Kee Memorial Hall. Everything here is so solemn and solemn, making people awe-inspiring.

Anti-Japanese heroes, everything under your feet is so peaceful and beautiful now, you must be very happy!

After having a meal of dumplings in Brother Yin’s car, we continued our journey to Mangshi. There are beautiful views along the way, and these two photos are from Sister-in-law Yin.

This is where we will park tonight. Many riders have been stationed here for several days. We will talk to them in detail tomorrow.

Brother Chen is already calling me to tell him stories. See you all tomorrow!
