▲Accompany your parents to have a date with Erhai Lake

I am a born-in-the-90s golden flower born in the 1990s with a mortal body on a construction site and a spiritual ambition in the world. I have the heart of a missionary but work as a mercenary. I am contradictory and egotistical.

Under the strong east wind in Shenzhen, I drove all the way onto the highway. When I came to my senses, I found that I had left my parents at the entrance of the village. They were pedaling their tricycles with all their strength, trying to catch up with me...

Note: According to the Bai custom, Dali calls the young man A Peng and the young girl Jinhua.

— The above is a self-introduction · The following is a summary —

At the end of 2016, my brother took his parents on a plane for the first time. They went to Qingdao and Yantai. They saw the mountains and the sea, ate seafood, and visited the aquarium. They were very happy and shared the photos of that trip with the family. For many days.

Despite this, it is still very difficult to persuade your parents to go on a trip. They have a hundred excuses waiting for you when they think of going away: they are afraid of bad weather, they think it is a waste of money, they think it is too much trouble at one moment, and they think it is too much trouble at the next moment. You can't live without people at home...

So when traveling with parents, accepting nagging is one of the necessary lessons, but we must learn to correctly guide the nagging .

During the trip, all educational topics were turned into a verbal debate, and I strived for the initiative to make the final argument. This not only increased the opportunities for communication with my parents, but also instilled new ideas into them in a timely manner. Does it kill two birds with one stone?

In fact, why don’t parents want to go out and see the world? Why don’t they want to understand our hobbies and daily life? We should also learn to fulfill their little thoughts.

So, pack your luggage and your parents, and let’s go! ! !

First stop: Kunming Cuihu Park

Compared with the Loess Plateau, which has distinct cold and warm seasons and is often visited by sand and dust, Kunming, known as the "Spring City" with beautiful scenery and spring-like scenery all year round, is naturally a feast for their eyes.

Those trees with tangled roots that they had never seen before and that they couldn't name, those large lotuses that were either in bud or shyly blooming, those plump white or gold fish swimming in the water... everything. They were surprised by the sights they had never seen before.
They excitedly photographed the unfamiliar trees, discussed the names of the plants in front of them, and lamented a palm tree that looked like a bearded old man. "Look at those two big white geese that are playing with their paws. Aren't they the ones in your text?" Did you learn ‘Anthurium and Waves’?”
If you feel that your current life is like a stagnant water, or you are feeling resentful and miserable all day long, then it’s time to throw a stone in and make some waves.
Second stop: Lijiang Old Town

It probably originated from Lijiang, and I have fallen in love with the ancient city since then, especially the bluestone roads, small bridges and flowing water in the ancient city. I have an inexplicable affection for them.

So I have visited many ancient cities over the years, but this must be the first time my parents have walked into an ancient city!

The last time I came to Lijiang, I was a true backpacker, so I completely ignored the "roughness" of the ancient city. This time I brought a trolley suitcase with my parents, and I discovered that for the first time, the bluestone roads under my feet that I only felt full of charm had changed. It has to be so "annoying".
The suitcase was dragged and lifted all the way, and the originally stable lever was soon shaken, and the wheels were so worn that it made people feel distressed. Of course, I felt even more distressed for my dad, who simply carried the 20-inch large luggage on the bumpiest road. The box moves forward...
The older generation, they always care about objects more than themselves.
The simplicity and prosperity of the ancient city opened their eyes. My dad lamented all the way that even a piece of rotten wood here looks so harmonious; the public toilets are more foreign-style than the kitchen at home; look at this shabby and shabby signboard, but it doesn’t seem out of place at all.
My mother is fascinated by all kinds of fancy skirts and shawls. She is eager to try them, but is timid at the same time. She obviously likes them, but is worried that she will not dare to wear them after buying them...
But in fact, I know she is just afraid of spending money.
Third stop: Erhai Lake
When bringing them to Dali, there is a clear itinerary, which is to ride around the Erhai Lake! Of course, I can also realize my Erhai dream of a small motorcycle.
Compared with taking them to squeeze into the bus and subway in the 30-degree high temperature in Shenzhen, it is not very wise to take them riding a small motorcycle around the Erhai Lake in such a perfect season and perfect weather! !
It was my first time riding a motorcycle on New Year's Day, and I actually had to ride it for hundreds of kilometers. I was so scared that my boss almost stopped renting me when I tried to use the accelerator.
Fortunately, I am brave and careful, and I can learn it quickly. The boss, like a kind old father watching his daughter get married, reluctantly watched us leave with uneasiness, and also asked a buddy who happened to be traveling with us. Please take more care of me.
I rented a small motorcycle with a cruising range of up to 200 kilometers. The little guy is indeed very powerful and the climbing experience is great. It is not pretentious at all.
The scenery of Erhai Lake is as beautiful as ever. It is not as vast as the sea or as beautiful as Dianchi Lake. Every place is full of charm. Every tree and grass in the water is like a friend waiting for us to go.
The parents were very excited, and the young girl was having fun like a boy.

My father saw a leaning tree by the water and climbed up a very high branch. I was so scared that I sweated. My mother said that if her feet were hot, she should go into the water to cool off. So I rolled up my trouser legs and went into the water. I stood on the edge and took pictures of them...
This scene is very similar to the way they used to worry about me when I was a child.
Fourth stop: Dali Ancient City
Dali Ancient Town is not as crowded as Lijiang Ancient Town. Every street has distinct characteristics and every small shop has its own unique charm.
The Old Town of Lijiang spreads out around Sifang Street, but every small alley radiating out is somewhat the same. Although the stone bridges and rivers add a lot of color to the Old Town of Lijiang, there are similar clothing stores and similar jewelry stores. There are similar little people grinding spices... It always gives people the illusion that this street has been passed.
The ancient city of Dali is different. The streets are wider and different from east to west, north and south. Yu'er Road is more quaint and deserted, while Boai Road and Fuxing Road each have their own prosperity. Renmin Road is the most interesting main street. Walking southwest along Renmin Road, it will become more and more lively. When you look up, you can see Cangshan Mountain. and the moon, two of the legendary Dali wind, flowers, snow and moon (Xiaguan wind, Shangguan flower, Cangshan snow and Erhai moon) can be seen here.
In Dali Ancient Town, my father was most interested in the names of the various small shops in the ancient town. He thought each one was very special and had a lot of imagination. Such as "Juneflower", "In Time", "Passenger" and so on.

I told them that what they call "literary art" must be in harmony with the literary and artistic atmosphere of Dali!

Of course, every part and corner of literature and art together constitute the Dali of literature and art.
My parents happily shared with the family what they saw and heard during the trip, including the strange-looking trees, the clear green water, the brightly lit streets of the ancient city, the distant mountains and the moon that could be seen when looking up...
This trip took them to ride the most beautiful double-decker train in China, experience the high-speed trains and high-speed trains that represent China’s speed, ride a scooter in a beautiful place that is not seen in the north, eat authentic Yunnan rice noodles, and taste Lijiang Braised pork ribs, experienced marble slab barbecue, drank milk tea, and various flavors of Xizhou Baba...
I know that every trip like this is valuable to them, and they are satisfied and cherished from the bottom of their hearts.
There is still a long way to go, and I sincerely hope that our journey will be worthwhile!
I will still return to the city of Shenzhen and continue to ride the express train of the new era; I will still take more time to travel, go to cities and villages that I have not yet reached, and see the scenery that I have not yet seen; I will still take more time to travel. I will firmly stick to myself, do what I like to do, and love those who deserve my love.
At the same time, we strive to create more opportunities to take our parents on a long trip together!
