There was something that made me feel that my dad was very great for the first time. At first I was very, very cold, and as northerners with heating at home, we didn’t even think of air conditioning. Then I said to my dad, "Take my mom." "Give me the quilt", because I have the impression that there are two quilts on their bed. Then I got a big quilt, along with my quilt, and a down jacket and so on, but I was still cold. My dad got up and put on his thick clothes silently, and then asked him to keep boiling water. I kept drinking boiled water to replenish my calories. I drank 3 or 4 bottles of boiled water in one night, and I had to go to the toilet after drinking. , it’s so frustrating.
Then an hour or two later, I started to feel hot again and started to sweat again. I didn’t know that my dad didn’t have a quilt at that time, so he started to put on the quilt, clothes and other things again. Finally, my fever subsided. Then go to sleep. When I woke up in the morning, I realized that there were only two quilts in our house, and my dad had covered me with his quilt... I was quite touched.
On the second day, my dad accompanied me to see the sea across the street, and then we went to the community hospital for intravenous infusion. It turned out that the community hospital did not provide intravenous infusion. On the way back to the B&B, I found a small clinic that can provide infusions. The doctor's service was quite good. My dad and I were moved by giving me a hot water bottle. The private clinic service is great!
The day after the water transfusion was basically over. In the evening we went to the bus station to pick up my mother. As soon as my mother saw me, she pulled me into her arms and said that she didn’t sleep much last night... Then we saw the roadside There was a Yingke Tour, so we walked in to find out more about it, signed up for a one-day tour of Tulou, and also bought ferry tickets to Gulangyu Island. Day 2, one-day tour to Tulou
Considering that I just had a fever and was still a little weak, we decisively signed up for a one-day tour of Tulou on the second day, because it took 6 hours to take the bus back and forth. Thinking I could sleep. Only when we got on the bus did we know that we could sleep there, and the tour guide kept selling us. Of course, you didn’t know the truth at the beginning. I was very moved by her professionalism. She didn’t take a break even after getting in the car. She was telling us knowledge, stories, and jokes. She told us the story of silver jewelry for a long time, which moved me even more. She not only talked about knowledge, but also conducted experiments: she asked everyone in the car to take out their cosmetics, rubbed them crazily with her own silver comb, and tested the poison... Only after the car stopped did I know that the next step was for us to drink coffee and go shopping for silver jewelry.
Later I realized that everything she said was to pave the way for your next purchase. I basically stopped listening to her. We came down to eat at the Tulou place right away, and while we were waiting, we were told how this cigarette was so good that it couldn't be bought anywhere else. My mother was fascinated... Then when we arrived at Tulou, we discovered that these cigarettes were sold everywhere, and the price was less than 1/2. Therefore, you really cannot buy anything in the service area near the attraction.
The things you actually buy at scenic spots are not expensive. There are farmers in Yunshuiyao Scenic Area. We found that the tea and cigarettes sold by these farmers are the cheapest, probably because this is the place of production. Yunshuiyao Scenic Area is named after the filming location of the movie of the same name. What we are looking at on this route is the Tulou in Nanjing. The scale is still incomparable with the Tulou in Yongding. Tulou are high-rise buildings built by people who got rich first in ancient times. We have to admire the construction technology and resource utilization efficiency of the local people in the Qing Dynasty. It's really a family living in a big house.
Day 3 Gulangyu was tricked by the tour guide
Because I bought the ferry ticket from this travel company. So there was a whole day of being cheated. We were picked up on the bus in the morning, and then it deliberately went around a long way to find a very far pier for us. During the entire dozens of minutes, they were frantically inputting to us: This unique attraction in Gulangyu Island is due to the epidemic. , was greatly affected. There were only 5 or 6 pianos in the piano hall. After that, I spent a lot of time touting the must-see places they recommended, such as the century-old Gulangyu Island and some pheasant attractions.
In fact, I did my homework. I visited some of the most famous scenic spots in Gulangyu Island, but I didn’t know how they were affected by the epidemic. My mother just listened to them all. After getting off the bus, we were asked to sign up for the ab cd package, the lowest price was more than 160. I realized at that time that the combined ticket for the five major attractions in Gulangyu Island only cost more than 80 yuan. Why is this so expensive? I drank tea for a long time. By the time I arrived at Gulangyu Island, it was already noon. I thought we were going to the island from the pier in the residential area, so we had to walk a very long distance to get to the business and tourist areas. When we arrived at the "100-year-old Gulangyu Island", we found that it was just a two-story villa renovated and a small exhibition. We just realized that the tour guide was too deceptive...
At this time, we rushed to several major scenic spots. We were already very short of time, so we had to take a quick look at them. In fact, there are not just five or six pianos in the piano hall, but at least a hundred. The statue of Zheng Chenggong is not just a piece of butt. As expected, nothing the tour guide said was true. Alas, it’s all my fault that I didn’t prepare a good strategy. I just looked at the most basic four-day route and didn’t really consider myself a tour guide. The tour guide should have arranged all the details. How to take the car? How to play? Including even some historical and cultural background must be made very clear. I actually have a lot of time to do these things, but I didn't do them. I think it was work that I was not prepared for.
Day 4: Tour around the island and watch the loudspeaker on Dadeng Island
Maybe I was a little tired from running in Gulangyu Island the day before, and I was a little weak. After eating early in the morning, I felt uncomfortable again. They accompanied me back to the B&B. After a good sleep, I felt much better. We just hit the road. It was already It's afternoon. Alas, my small body was holding everyone back all the way, and I had three stripes written all over my face... I decided that I couldn't stand up to them.
The island tour is to take a look at some of the scenic spots along the island road. The main point is actually to let you shop. Taiwan duty-free goods, seafood...
The attractions of the military base on Dadeng Island are made into a living maze, and they incorporate elements of horror, blood, underwater world, etc. It can be said that the degree of mix and match is amazing.
Day 5: Visit Gulangyu Island on the first day of the new year. The tension is constant .
Because of the regret of the first time, we went to Gulangyu Island again. Of course, it was mainly because I wanted to go. Later, I thought, we really should have visited separately that day, because they were not particularly interested in Gulangyu Island. In fact, I watched Gao Xiaosong’s film a long time ago. The book "Like Mourning" records his experience of wandering in Xiamen. He wrote about his time on Gulangyu Island with a group of artists. Those years were very romantic, so Gulangyu Island is a special person in my mind. The main reason for the tension with my parents is probably that they have no special feelings for Gulangyu Island. Those old buildings are just like that. There are old villas everywhere.
There is another particularly important thing. On the first day of the New Year, we discovered that the national tourist attractions do not exempt medical workers from admission. My mom, who is a senior in pink, even complained about "burning bridges"... Therefore, my mom was not willing to spend any more money on some of the places she had just visited that day. I have a special liking for these old houses that combine Chinese and Western styles. I don’t get bored looking at them over and over again. I didn’t do this before. Maybe it’s because I took up lessons on Western art history during the epidemic. I can see the influence of these buildings. The design elements are the shadow of the architectural styles of each period, from the simple and elegant ancient Greek Renaissance to the graceful and complex European medieval Rococo style, coupled with the Chinese style, forming a very special architectural style of combining Chinese and Western styles.
I want to take a closer look at their patterns and designs, which period style is dominant, the contrast between Chinese and Western elements, etc. They don’t understand these. I didn’t do my homework very well, so I couldn’t explain it to them like a professional tour guide. So... we can't go shopping together.
When I returned, I didn’t take a map, so I did some navigation on my phone. The nearest route was a turnaround, and I didn’t want to turn back. My mother kept saying that there was nothing there, and my dad had to leave a long time ago. After taking the turnaround, we finally waited for us. When I was almost walking back to the pier, I took out the map and suddenly discovered that there were several particularly important old building gathering areas, but I didn’t even look at them! There was also a night cruise on the Lujiang River in the evening, and they were in a hurry as they were in a hurry. No one wants to come back to understand my mood and thoughts. They have no patience at all, and they can only keep denying that I want to go back to see those houses, "Wasting time and money just for a few broken houses?..."
Later, I figured out that it is unrealistic for two generations with different aesthetics and tastes to be very satisfied with shopping together, unless they go shopping separately. Otherwise, you have to accommodate each other. When I came out this time, they felt that they were accompanying me, and I felt that I was accompanying them. Just sauce. Anyway, I will come to Gulangyu again in the future.

My mother has been talking about eating seafood all the time. She said that many years ago, my mother and her colleagues from the workplace were traveling in Hainan. You can buy it at the door and cook it directly in the kitchen. Day 6 Meditation Journey: Nanputuo Temple Xiamen Botanical Garden
The day before I experienced a very tangled and stressful experience, and my overall mood was very low. And I also affected my parents’ mood. I felt very complicated. On the one hand, I felt regretful, and on the other hand, I blamed myself for being so ignorant. On the last morning, I was still debating whether I should give up Nanputuo and the Botanical Garden, and then go to Gulangyu Island by myself. My mother shed tears silently in the morning... Alas, I am such an unfilial child... In the end, I chose to go shopping with them. I feel that my physical condition is still a bit weak, and I think some of the pictures of the Botanical Garden are quite beautiful. I would have regretted not going there, but at least I went to Gulangyu Island.
In the morning, my mother’s good friend Grandma Sun, who is in her eighties, also came. She is particularly good at posing and has a very young mentality. Some people believe her when she says she is over sixty. She has been talking about it with us since we got here. See you together.
The Botanical Garden and Nanputuo Temple are next to each other, so we went to Nanputuo Temple first. The entire temple does not occupy a large area, compared with some temples in the north, but the incense is very strong. There are not many Buddha statues or majestic temples inside, but once inside you will feel your heart calm down. Moreover, it will give you blessing words such as a safe life, and there will also be many Buddhist scripture booklets distributed for free. I also got a thick introductory manual on Buddhism, which is also free.
From the many calligraphy works of famous historical figures, we can understand the important position of Nanputuo Temple in the history of Buddhism. There is also a Buddhist academy next to it. So high-end. There is a place distributing free incense at the door, and there are no shops. Compared with our White Horse Temple, the long stretch of houses sells various Buddhist derivatives, tricking you into donating incense money... After coming out of the temple, I felt that my heart was obviously much calmer.

The Botanical Garden is said to be a popular spot for Internet celebrities, especially those who take wedding photos, because there is a tropical garden with sprays, which makes taking photos more enjoyable.
There is also a succulent garden with a lot of succulents, but because of our limited time, we didn’t stop too much in other places. I wore a lot of clothes during those two days because the temperature in Xiamen had dropped, so I wore a down jacket throughout the entire photo and check-in area...
Before we left, we also took a photo with the marathon bronze statue on the road around the island, because the day we left was January 2nd, and the Macau International Marathon was originally scheduled for the next day, but it was temporarily canceled due to the epidemic.
You can see a lot of city statues, statues, etc. everywhere in the south. In many cities in the north, this atmosphere is much less.
