Material simplicity/abundance of soul
What is it like to experience high fever?
altitude stress

What is your best impression of Tibet? Blue sky, white clouds, Mani piles, prayer flags fluttering in the wind, or butter tea overflowing with milky fragrance?

No matter how good the expectations are, they can't match the true reaction of the body.

The first night I entered Tibet, I got high...

1
Feilai Temple to Mangkang
Take the Yunnan-Tibet Line from Shangri-La and drive along the turbid streams of the Lancang River Basin towards Mangkang. Before leaving, the owner of Feilai Temple’s B&B suggested that we’d better sleep in Rumei Town tonight as the altitude is lower and we’ll have a more comfortable sleep. The original plan was to rest in Mangkang, but I didn’t know where I would be at night while walking around.
When it was almost noon, I saw 7.8 cars parked in front of a restaurant. It was probably an "Internet celebrity restaurant", so I joined in the fun and went to have lunch. "Yanjing Noodles" is a noodle shop where the whole family sings and dances, and 30 yuan is enough to pay for it.

Food is the best cure for travel fatigue, not to mention a restaurant with a warm and delicious atmosphere. Each person has a small bowl, and the happy girls sing and share the noodles. It also stimulates the men. If you can't finish 10 bowls, you have to leave Come down and wash the dishes. If you have more than 10 dishes, a Tibetan girl will be introduced to you. Each time a bowl is added, a stone will be placed next to the bowl. The three of us ate 6 bites and we were full. When we were full, we could cross our chopsticks to show that we were full, and the waiter would not ask for more noodles. Otherwise, when you are caught off guard, the waiter would I will keep giving you more noodles...

There was a noodle champion in this store who ate 149 bites. The store encourages diners to challenge the champion and beat the champion, and they can eat noodles for free for life hahaha~

At every stop you pass when entering Tibet, you need to get off the vehicle for inspection. When entering Lhasa, you need to pass the first checkpoint entering Tibet, park your car and enter the inspection hall with all three documents (travel license, driver's license, and ID card). Registration is required to gain access.
Starting from the 318 National Highway, there are only three colors left in the world, the clear blue of the sky, the yellow of the mountainous land, and the white of the snow-capped mountains and clouds.
Arrive at Mangkang, a province in the desolate land where Sichuan, Dian and Tibet meet.

Mangkang-Zogong
The altitude of Mangkang is 3875M, which sounds okay at first glance, but your body will obviously feel breathless and dizzy, you can't jump or run, and you need to constantly replenish water (drinking water). And what I saw along the way was desolate, desolate, desolate, without a trace of vibrant green.
One of my fears when traveling with a photography enthusiast is to take pictures of him. I took a dozen or so photos to choose one and adjusted my composition proportions through online teaching. Okay, okay, you are the most handsome~
Snowy mountains are within reach.
Stop as you go, stop when you see the scenery. A purple mountain, with a sense of three-dimensionality and color, makes it particularly eye-catching on the road.
Mangkang is the first larger county town entering Tibet. Both the Yunnan-Tibet Line and the Sichuan-Tibet Line pass through this county. Continuously drinking water will make the body feel angry, so I bought two sky-high price pitayas from a roadside vendor in Mangkang , 25 yuan each, 50 yuan each. I was shocked... It turns out that not only is the air in Mangkang very thin, but fruits are also a scarce resource.
On the first night of rest in Mangkang, people will feel very tired. There is a big stone on their chest and they feel out of breath. This is because the body starts the adjustment mode after entering the high altitude. There is no need to panic. Eat 6 portions to feel full and drink water regularly to feel better.

Out of Mangkang. The next stop is Rumei Town. Rumei is 1,000 meters lower than Mangkang, so you will be more comfortable resting in Rumei. The beautiful imagination of Tibet starts with the expectation of being a little green.

The next stop is Zuogong. Zuogong County is more like a newly developed rural area, with houses and streets straight and level. Most of them are Restaurant, 3-4 storey building. Some of the houses were built by the construction units of Fujian’s aid to Tibet. The new district is still under construction and there are relatively few people. The only people I saw were tourists.

While eating, I saw a 👙bikini cloud☁️

Crossing , the first high-altitude viewing platform is Dongda Mountain with an altitude of 5130 meters. Dongda Mountain in May is a bare mountain with mottled snow. It has no beauty except desert. Instead, tourists rush to take pictures in the Prayer Flag Square near the viewing platform. This is the only touch of color on Cangliangliang Mountain.

Arrive at Zuogong in the evening. Zuogong County is more like a developed new countryside. The houses and streets are horizontal and vertical, and most of them are restaurants and 3-4-story buildings. There are some houses built by construction units from Fujian Province aiding Tibet. The new area is still under construction and there are relatively few people. Everyone you see is tourists.
In order to take pictures of the snow-capped mountains of Dongda Mountain, the clouds were delayed and the wind blew. When we arrived at Zuogong at night, my head had already exploded. I thought altitude sickness would mean being out of breath, out of breath, and needing to take big breaths of oxygen, but I experienced it firsthand, and it was much more than that. My head was swollen and painful, my heartbeat was very fast, I couldn't breathe, my nose was not breathable, I felt nauseated, and I wanted to vomit but couldn't vomit. As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I felt like I was going to vomit, and it was difficult to walk. I drank two packets of isatis root and collapsed on the bed without taking off my clothes, praying that I would be better tomorrow after some sleep.

Zuogong-Bangda-Basu
When I woke up the next day, my headache was much relieved. Isatis root is really a cure-all medicine for all diseases haha, keep on going~
Arrive at Bangda for lunch. There is a small airport near Bangda that can lead directly to Bangda Airport.

The Nu River turns at 72, which is Yela 4651m, and spirals down to the small village 4100m. The vertical height is 551, and it is 12 kilometers long. , some people count 99 turns. I have to lament China's title of "Infrastructure Maniac".

No drones can be placed on the viewing platform at No. 72 Guais on the Nujiang River for fear of hitting people. We walked to the edge of the road, and there were about 5.6 drones taking pictures of the wonder of 72 Turns.
When exiting Turn 72, everyone is about to fly out. Large trucks, motorcycles, and private cars all keep a considerable distance between each other. There are too many twists and turns, and there are many blind spots. Drive safely. The whole person is swaying left and right.

Walk along the cliff road along the Nujiang River and arrive at the Nujiang Bridge.

After crossing the Nujiang Bridge, some greenery gradually appears. With plants, the village becomes more popular.

The green of the newly sprouted plants and the blue of the sky make the air feel much more soothing. I often see cows blocking my way on the road, walking leisurely on the road. Cars have to avoid cows. A cow costs 20,000 yuan. Drivers are very cautious~

From the yellow of the naked stone mountains that filled our eyes to the occasional ecological and organic green, we walked for 2 days before arriving at Basu. It was the first time to see cherry blossoms all over the street. Adding some spring flavor to the desolate yellow.

The owner of the B&B in Basu Town said something: People who are in a hurry cannot appreciate the beauty of Tibet. The road from Basu to Lhasa is suitable for driving slowly and enjoying yourself.
Then look forward to the trip after Basu, give me more colors of mountains, rivers, lakes and sea~
