2. Hebei Provincial Museum

Hebei Museum (now Hebei Provincial Museum) is the only provincial comprehensive museum in Hebei Province, established in 1953. There are currently 150,000 cultural relics in the collection, including more than 360 first-class cultural relics (including 6 national treasure-level cultural relics).

Hebei Province is the land of Yanzhao during the Warring States Period. The cultural relics displayed in the museum are mainly Yanzhao cultural relics during the Warring States Period. The Xia, Shang and Western Zhou dynasties show the activities of the Shang ancestors in ancient Hebei, the Shang Dynasty moving its capital to Xing, and the Fang and feudal states at that time. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, it tells the generous tragedy of the three feudal vassal states of Yan, Zhao and Zhongshan who conquered each other against the historical background of war and integration.

There are gold-engraved jade clothes unearthed from the tomb of Liu Sheng and his wife, the king of Zhongshan in Han Dynasty, "Changxin Palace" lamp, bird seal script pot, gold Boshan stove, copper clepsydra, northern celadon from the Southern and Northern Dynasties, Xing kiln and Cizhou kiln porcelain; Southern Song Dynasty fan; former Beijing Jifu The Temple of the Philosophers collects more than 2,000 pieces of ink and relics of famous local Confucians, officials and scholars in Hebei during the Ming and Qing Dynasties, including Yang Jisheng's admonitions, self-written chronology, Sun Qifeng's writing manuscripts, Zhao Nanxing's letter manuscripts, etc.;
3. The treasure of the town hall—Changxin Palace Lantern

National treasure level cultural relic. Excavated from Dou Wan’s tomb. Overall height 48 cm. The shape is a young palace maid kneeling on the ground holding a lamp, all gilded. The lantern is engraved with a total of 65 characters including "Changxin Palace Lantern ", hence the name "Changxin Palace Lantern".
