Five years ago, I had wanted to go to Tulou, but it never made it to the list. This time, I finally took advantage of someone in the alumni group to organize it. There was nothing much to do in Shenzhen during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Recently, I had some emotions that needed to be released, so I decided to come out.

However, the first stop is not the Tulou. Instead, we take a detour to Yunxiao, take the bus to Tongling, and spend a day in the ancient city. Every seaside attraction is different. Kenting has the romance of the Pacific Ocean, Quanzhou has the charm of an ancient city, Lamma Island in Hong Kong has the lively island atmosphere, while Tongling is very quiet and is a small town that has not been over-developed. Just take a photo of Santorini from a high place.

There are three recommended attractions here:

01
Dongmen Island

It is the core attraction of Tongling. It is known as one of the four largest islands in China. You need to take a boat at the pier of the peninsula. is an undeveloped island containing the "Tōmyōji" temple, which is the closest to sea level.
Along the way there are plants that are not suitable for the climate, such as coniferous forests and cacti groups.

There is no main road in the second half of the journey to Dongming Island, so you can only walk on the sand. However, the sand is very fine, and it is quite comfortable to wear shoes. Dongming Temple looks very impressive. One-third of the island is its construction area, and there are many Buddha statues donated by developed believers. The whole temple is very lively. But because it is a temple, in order to show respect for the gods, I did not take any photos. I only took a secret photo on the beach at the entrance. This is just a corner.

What impressed me most was that by the well in front of the temple, there were two young monks in their teens. They fetched water from the well and then used buckets to pour water all over their bodies, or on each other's bodies. They were innocent and innocent. . I even went to help them reinforce the bucket, which was very happy😃

02
Wen Gong Temple Peak
Wen Gong Temple is the filming location of the movie "Left Ear". The highest point on the edge is also the best perspective for taking pictures of the entire Tongling County.

There are old residents who have "house for sale" written all over their exterior walls (not for sale, it must have been written incorrectly), and there are also long-haired artists who decorate a small garden and open the door to the sea. There were also many papaya trees. The girl who was traveling with me kept hesitating between picking and buying them, and in the end did nothing.

There are quite a lot of people taking pictures of the sunset. This is not a tourist attraction operated by anyone. It stands in front of and behind residents’ houses, which makes it very down-to-earth. Being a bystander and taking photos of the sunset is particularly rewarding. In the end, I didn’t go to Wen Gong Temple.

03
Tongling ancient city

The entire ancient city is a residential area, and it does not look fake like other antique towns. There are seven-color lights every day. As long as the weather is good, you can see it every day, just like the Buddha's light.

It’s even more beautiful when the lanterns are first lit. Tonight is the Mid-Autumn Festival, and the moonlight blends with the sea view, which is even more beautiful.

We had supper in the evening at a small seaside restaurant called "Ou Kee Oyster House". The taste was pretty good, but! The boss and his wife are both handsome and pretty, which is particularly pleasing to the eye.

Later, when I inquired about it, I found out that the boss is a local and the wife is from Zhejiang. They have been married for 3 years and met while playing games. The young man we were traveling with asked, "Isn't it "Honor of Kings"? ! " The wife Yes...it seems that there is really a demand for a marriage system in games. Did King Dad hear this?
