Jinzhou Deputy Dutong Yamen is a rare Qing Dynasty Yamen in Northeast China, and it is also the best-preserved second-grade Qing Dynasty Yamen in China. Its architecture has the typical ancient architectural style and official architectural features of the Northeast during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. It has important cultural relic value and historical value for the study of the local history of southern Liaoning and the architecture of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. On March 7, 1843, the Qing government moved the Xiongyue Deputy Dutong Office to Jinzhou City, taking charge of the Jinzhou and Lushun Naval Battalion Co-Commanders and Fuzhou, Gaizhou, and Xiongyuecheng Guardsmen, and managing banner people and military affairs. , subordinate to General Shengjing. On July 27, 1900, the Russian troops stationed in Luda occupied Jinzhou City and tore up the clause in the "Renewal of Luda Land Lease Treaty" between China and Russia that Jinzhou City would be governed by China. Since then, the Jinzhou Deputy Capital Office has been abolished. . In 1999, the Jinzhou Deputy Dutong Yamen was renovated on the original site according to the layout of the original building. After the renovation, each single building is a civil structure, and the building type is a hard mountain style. The main colors of the beams are blue and black, showing the style of official architecture in southern Liaoning during the heyday of the Qing Dynasty.

Jinzhou Vice Dutong Yamen is located at No. 255 Minzhu Street. The total area of ​​the building and attached gardens is more than 9,000 square meters, and it is composed of five courtyards. The Yamen buildings are arranged in equal rows along the central axis, with a total of 17 buildings and 53 rooms for the vice-capital's residence, lobby, printing office, Zuo Si and Yousi, etc. Now used as a museum, the hall holds cultural relics and historical photo exhibitions all year round, and regularly holds parade performances by the deputy capital of Jinzhou, recreating the martial arts of the Eight Banners Army and the graceful dancing of Manchu girls.
