Exclude Route 8
Alaska's Highway 8, also called the Denali Highway, connects Highway 3 from Anchorage to Denali, and Highway 4 from Fairbanks to Valdez, from Cantwell to Paxson, which is the prohibited road marked in the picture below. 130 miles long. The road is closed in winter and is only open from May to October every year.

Probably the most dangerous and beautiful road in Alaska, is a plateau in the Alaska Range. It gathers many elements such as mountains, valleys, rivers, glaciers, lakes, swamps, dense vegetation, wild animals and fish, forming a square circle. There are hundreds of kilometers of large parks, and the colors change with the seasonal rotation of snow-capped mountains and vegetation. And there are very few cars on the whole journey. You can park wherever you want on the roadside.
If you don't go to Dalton Highway, there's no point in going around Fairbanks. After Denali Park, you can take Highway 8 directly to Highway 4 and then go south. The scenic spots on Highway 4 are basically south of this intersection, so no scenic spots will be lost.
Objections:
There is a speed limit throughout the journey. It is best to stay one night on the way before leaving. The accommodation will be relatively simple and there will be no mobile phone signal.
The road condition is too bad. Like the Dalton Highway, you can only rent a 4WD off-road vehicle from some car rental companies that provide vehicles on gravel roads.
Therefore, I have excluded Highway 8, and everyone should consider it based on their own circumstances.

Excluding glaciers is really because of my very, very personal reasons. There is no need for everyone to understand. I also don’t recommend that everyone go to Alaska and exclude any glacier attractions.
