It was raining lightly in the early morning in Xining, and the temperature was quite low.
It was the first time in July that I wore autumn clothes and long trousers.
I still gasped when I walked out of the hotel.
The driver picked us up and set off.
The chartered bus master was in his fifties and had been a driver on the Circle Line for eight years. When we chatted later, we discovered that the master was a driver transporting military supplies when he was young. The master's accent is quite strong, and many times we don't communicate particularly fluently in Mandarin, but I can feel that he is just like my old father. For example, it can remind you about dietary issues that need to be paid attention to in the local water and soil. They waited for us at the hotel door well in advance every day, and asked us if we were up before departure. Every time, we felt like we were about to undergo military training!
On the way, we passed "Riyue Mountain" , and it was the first time on this trip that we saw rapeseed fields. (Actually, looking at the rapeseed flowers in the next few days will make you tired, so you may or may not go to this scenic spot.)

As the car continued to drive west, the rain gradually began to stop and the clouds in the distance began to disperse.
The driver suddenly said: "The sky is starting to clear up."
The sky will clear up, the clouds will disperse, and the scenery outside the car window will appear.
"Inverted River" is said to be because the river flows upside down from east to west. (But I really can’t tell the east-west direction, so I don’t see the reason.)
On the contrary, this scenic spot provides tourists with the opportunity to experience Tibetan costumes and Tibetan lifestyle.
And because it was so cold, Tibetan clothing made us feel even warmer!
I also tried local dishes at noon. The dishes here are really lacking in green vegetables and only have some wild vegetables, which is a bit unfriendly to Cantonese people.
The blind spot for breakfast is "turf vegetable buns" , which is really outrageous. It just tastes like dirt anyway.
Continue to Qinghai Lake. The temperature is also gradually rising.
When seeing "Qinghai Lake",everyone has their own way of describing it.
The first time I saw it, I didn’t pick up the camera to take a photo. Instead, it attracted me to walk over and sit on the swing by the lake to enjoy the wind. It was a very healing feeling. (But be sure to check whether the swing is firm, otherwise you may have a close encounter with Qinghai Lake! Don’t ask me why I know this!)
Along the Qinghai Lake, the car drove by was full of scenery. The rapeseed fields and lavender fields on the roadside were set against the extremely blue sky.

After we settled in, the hotel owner reminded us not to take a shower as it is easy to catch a cold while taking a shower on the plateau. (But I still took the shower stubbornly. Although I didn’t catch a cold, my heartbeat seemed to be racing all night and I couldn’t sleep much.)
There were no restaurants nearby, so everyone took out snacks and sat in the small yard for a "big food party."
The two friends from the north were stunned at first because they did not understand what a "big food party" was and thought it was a "big benefit". (???)
This feeling is like going on a spring outing when I was a kid. Everyone took out the snacks prepared by their families and shared them with each other~
Still a little reserved as if they had just met each other, they gathered around and chatted.
Until the sun completely sets and the temperature drops, I go back to my room to rest.
